Chapter 26: A Mysterious World
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: High University- Mr. Yarish's Astronomy class)
(Scene: Baku and his sister enter the classroom)
*Baku silently follows Savannah into the Astronomy classroom and sits next to his sister.
*The teacher, Mr. Yarish, suddenly and loudly explodes with energy into the classroom, gaining everybodies immediate attention. Today, he was wearing a white tie with red stripes. Or was it a red tie with white stripes? Either way, he was full of energy as always even though his hair looked like he had just rolled out of bed and ran to school.
[Mr. Yarish]: *Shouting* EVERYBODY! PLEASE HEAR ME WHEN I SAY I AM ABSOLUTELY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN THE TEACHER OF A WORLD GUARDIAN, ESPECIALLY OF ONE IN WHICH HE HAS A PASSING GRADE IN SAID CLASS!!!
[Baku Cree]: *Thinking to himself* ... Oh, well he didn't have to bring up my grades. But thanks, I guess...?
[Mr. Yarish]: Alrighty students, since I'm in such a good mood, I've decided that today’s class will be special! Now feast your eyes on... this!
*Mr. Yarish applies touch to big red crystal in the center of the room.
*This causes the ceiling to open up, exposing the constantly starry night sky to the students along with a wintry breeze. The classroom begins to shake as it slowly rotates, the walls expanded, creating space for the floor to reveal a hidden mechanism. A fully-fledged observatory constructed with a massive telescope made of golden shimmering iron showing off all of the gears, gadgets, and gizmos that allow it to function. The class stares in awe.
[Mr. Yarish]: Pretty rad, huh? This space telescope was built long ago by our kingdom’s top scientist and is usually reserved for elite scholars in academia. Now, this highly advanced wonder has the ability to zoom in on anything millions of lightyears away with impeccable quality. All you have to do is type in the coordinates of what you’re looking for and gaze through the looking glass. Well, who wants to give it a spin?

*Baku looks into the massive telescope after setting coordinates, and gazes upon a wonderous star cluster of nebulas and spacial bodies. He can see stars be born and die simultaneously, birthing new constellations to bring new stories to the planets and galaxies they govern.
*Comets soar through the cosmos leaving trails behind them for their paths to be followed by discoverers. Meteors and asteroids orbit and crash into eachother creating space dust that spread celestial colors everywhere.
[Mr. Yarish]: Beautiful, isn't it, Baku? The universe is full of endless possibilities that exist outside of the Crystarius galaxy. There could be a planet made of any element found on the periodic table, or a massive asteroid made out of diamonds or gold! It's absolutely incredibly just imagining it!
[Baku Cree]: *Smiling* I always loved thinking about what else exist outside of the Crystal Kingdom and Planet Eternia. I admire the idea that many different worlds and planets can be found out there... I hope our people who embark on the journeys to get there make it safely, I think it would be awesome to travel amongst them...
*Next, Savannah sets coordinates into the space telescope and gazes her eyes onto Planet Eternia. When she does, the princess stares intensely at the massive crystals that jut fiercely out of the waters surface, scattered about a great bay that is teeming with aquatic life.
[Princess Savannah]: Mr. Yarish, why do you think the Crystal Kingdom is suspended in space?
[Mr. Yarish]: Well Princess, my theory is that an event occurred before, during, or after the 1000 years of war that caused the Crystal Kingdom to rise into space. I don't know what exactly happened, or how we remain suspended... But it had to have been a massive ordeal.
[Princess Savannah]: Why don't our history books talk about it?

[Mr. Yarish]: For some unknown reason, bits and pieces of Crystal Kingdom history was lost regarding the events estimated to have occurred between 50-100 years ago, and what’s remaining is all very vague. It took our historians a very long time to put everything together, however, with what we have so far, it seems that our kingdom is compliant with continuing to progress our own current history. But... I'm just an astronomy teacher, my class is just an elective, so what do I know?
[Princess Savannah]: *Sigh* .........
*The bell rings, releasing the class for the day.
[Mr. Yarish]: Students, your Mid-Terms are around the corner! Make sure you study until your brains bleed!
[Baku Cree]: This is my best class! There's no way I'm NOT passing this test!
[Princess Savannah]: Little brother, come to my side! It's time for lunch!
[Baku Cree]: Oh, coming Princess!
