"I have been wondering these last few days if there is any cause you young folk would champion? Any injustice you would face, and Giants you would fell? If you had the courage to slay Dragons and face whatever the world could throw at you?"

"It is of course OK if you have not found a cause that you believe in. No one is born brave, they all had to find the courage to stand up. To look in the titans eye and laugh at the old bugger."

"When you get to my age you know that you are not long for this world. If I lived another decade it would only be a tenth of my life. I have spent more of my years asleep then I could have left."

"Even still to have a noble cause that I believed in to fight for if only for one last time. That would be something I could hold on to for a decade or more."

"You know I read that they are making boats to remove the plastic from the sea?"

When I was still finding my way in the world and yes even I had to do that, the world was going down hill. Yes I know that everything is not the greatest that it could be today but it was still in free fall back then. It was still plumiting with no sign of ever stoping. A runaway bolder screaming down the hill to smash the village below.

There were no conservation laws to provide any form of protection for the animals and plants. A few men could ruin thousands of acres for their own profit and convience with no reprucusions what-so-ever. So we built it and made the laws that still stand today. What, you did not think that they came from thin air did you?

It took effort and patience as well as perserveriance but we got the job done. We did it and now it is the young peoples duity to makesure that the job we did was not wasted. Why to this day I can still remember camping in the Alplaca Mountians for weeks with binoculars just to watch some endangered birds. Thanks to our efforts those birds are thriving now and flying through the sky for the children to enjoy. That is what fixing these issues is about, what makes it worth doing, to leave something behind that will out last you.

To do something great even if it is small. To be apart of something bigger then yourself. That is what make a good life into a great one.
