《Room Mates (NaLu)》Chapter 25 ~ The party don't start till I walk in.

T
Lucy was buzzing. She hadn't seen her good friend Lisanna since the exciting day at the water park and had many things to converse with her about. She happily walked towards the tall doors of the arranged destination of choice; a resturant. Tonight was about her and her friend, nothing else.
"Lu!" Called her white-haired friend as she waved, gesturing for her to come to the candle lit table that stood at the far end of the resturant. Lucy remembered how popular Lisanna was for her unique colour in hair, it really was beautiful.
"Lis! Nice to see you again!" Lucy smiled, taking a seat oppisite her friend and grabbing a menu.
The two quickly ordered a meal each once the waiter came and were soon back to talking again. Lucy gazed around the resturant as Lisanna told her about her life and how things have been. It was a nice resturant, a fancy one; with its marble floors and expensive looking chandeliers in the centre. Everyone occupying the tables looked fairly wealthy; either above 60 or in their late thirties, most likely eating from their husbands paychecks.
"So, how are you doing?' Lisanna said, taking back the small piece of attention I let escape to my surroundings.
"I'm good. Not much has been going on really." I laughed, accepting my plate as the waiter came with our food.
Lisanna looked at the waiter as he walked away, wiggling her eyebrows at me.
"Any boyfriends?" She joked, taking a sip of a wine she ordered.
"Me and Natsu started dating actually." I smiled thinking about the salmon-haired boy.
"Aw how cute! I could see how you two were at my cafe. Very close." She smirked.
I blushed and looked down at my food.
"How about you?" I smiled, taking a bite of my food.
"No, no boyfriends yet." She laughed. "I must repel boys or something."
We both laughed at her remark, eating a little more food in the process.
"Oh!" Lisanna burst, sitting up a little higher in her seat. "I almost forgot, I have some amazing news!"
"Yay! What is it?" I asked, feeling excited to find out what it was.
"I've moved to Magnolia!" She cheered, a bright smile spreading across her pale face. "I've enrolled in Fairytail too!"
"Wow! I can't believe it, that's amazing!" I said excitedly.
Lisanna in Fairytail huh? I don't think I ever saw that coming.
"Are you going to be living in the dorms? It's a big campus, I can show you around." I suggested.
"No I'm actually renting an apartment nearby. I'm not all for sharing a room with someone I don't know." She laughed, taking another sip if her wine.
"I'm so excited. It's going to be great with you in Fairytail!" I smiled enthusiastically.
"Yep! And I'm happy I can see Mira more now too." Lisanna replied.
Eventually, our plates were cleared, glasses empty, and it was time to head home. Together we exited the resturant, hugging eachother and heading our separate ways.
"Bye Lis! See you soon!" I waved as I headed the direction of my car.
"See ya Lu!" She shouted back, walking the oppisite direction.
I sat in my car with a sigh. I needed a moment to take everything in.
Lisanna in Fairytail.
It was unexpected, and I wasn't sure if I was ready. I mean, after everything that happened with Lisanna; her getting others to bully me, it was hard, and I had finally got away from it all.

I shrugged as I sat in my empty car.
"Get a grip Lucy. She's different now, it's all going to be fine." I said to myself aloud, swiping a piece of stray hair behind my ear.
One more quick sigh, and I started the car to head home.
-
The orchestra of loud, hungry voices travelled through the air, creating a familiar buzz in the background of the crowded canteen. I was sat at our usual table with the group, having our usual conversations about the weirdest of things.
Ahead of me was a plate of Natsu's favourite food... or a plate of chili to be precise. I was living off extreme proudness as I ate forkful after forkful infront of him. After taking the last plate left, Natsu was fuming, unable to take his eyes of me as I dolloped more and more into my waiting mouth. With each bite I slowly slide the fork out of my mouth as to grasp every speck on it, licking my lips after.
"Geez Luce. Do you have to eat it like that? Your making me more than just hungry." Natsu fussed.
He was sat next to me at the table. His head rested on his elbow to prop himself up in my direction.
"Natsu!" I scolded, gentry shoving his shoulder in disapproval.
Everyone else on the table were all consumed in their own conversations; none paying attention to me nor Natsu.
"Can I have at least one bite? Pleeease?" He begged, staring at the fork as it once again entered my mouth.
"Nope." I teased, popping the 'p'.
I smirked as I scraped the last fork full to the centre of the plate, ready for scooping.
"You know they only do chili every two weeks! I can't wait that long!" He whined, staring wishfully. "Luce I'll do anything!"
I lifted my head to look at him, placing the fork down beside my plate.
"Anything?" I smirked harder, a playful glint most likely evident in my eyes.
"Come on Luce!" He begged, his legs jumping up and down beneath the table.
I scooped up the food onto the fork.
"I'll inform you of my request later." I formally spoke, bringing the fork towards his mouth, placing it between his open lips and then pulling away.
His eyes closed as he savoured the flavour, enjoying every last chew, but before I could blink he was already finished, wilting in his seat like a dead flower.
"That was over quickly." He sighed, wiping his mouth with his sleeve.
"I can make you some one day, you don't have to wait two weeks." I suggested with a smile, lifting his sad spirits a little.
"Oh hey guys! Guys!?" Piped Mira as she waved her hands around in the air to get our tables attention. "I heard there was a party tonight at some guy named Hibiki's house. Anyone is invited, up for it?"
Gray was the first to reply with a simple "Yeh that sounds fun."
"If Gray is in, so am I." Smiled Juvia.
Levy and Erza shrugged a yes, along with Gajeel and Jellal. Everyone was left looking toward Natsu and I, waiting for an answer.
"Oh uh yeh I'm in I guess." I replied looking towards Natsu.
"Me too!" He smiled.
-
"What are we going to wear?! I sighed as I scrambled through my wardrobe looking for a decent outfit.
"I have no idea. And we only have a few hours!" Replied Levy who was tiredly sprawled across my bed.

I carried on shuffling between clothes, sliding through hanger after hanger.
"Aha!" I chorused as I unhooked a fitted black dress from its hanger and pulled it out of the wardrobe. "This?" I asked, holding it against my body and turning to face Levy.
"Yes! That looks perfect! Try it on and come back!" She said, pointing towards the bathroom.
Soon enough, Levy and I had the perfect outfits. Me and her had my dorm to herself due to Natsu being at grays to get ready. Earlier, Levy had ran next door to her dorm to find a dress, where we then got ready here.
"You look amazing Lev." I gawked, looking her slim figure up and down. "Gajeels' a lucky one." I cheekily said under my breath.
"No Lu, you look absolutely gorgeous. There's no way I could ever top you even in my dreams." She said, obviously not hearing my sneaky comment.
Both of us had gone for a eye makeup look matching our dresses; mine being rather dark due to my back dress, whereas Levy's being orange and sparkly like hers. Each topped off with some winged eyeliner. Levy had her hair curled and half tied up with a silver flower, however mine was fully down and straight.
"You ready?"
"You bet Lu!"
-
"The boys are already there." Stated Erza as Levy and I climbed into her car that was waiting outside. Juvia and Cana were already inside waiting, leaving Mira and Lisanna to get there on their own.
"You both look great!" Complimented Juvia as me and Levy sat in the back with her. She was wearing a deep blue t-shirt with a black mini skirt and knee high socks.
"You too!" I replied, giving her a smile.
We quickly arrive outside the house. Music was thrashing through the air, making it obvious we were at the right place.
Red cups littered the lawn, along with a few people who were already passed out.
"Geez, it's only 9pm and people are already drunk." Stated Levy she stepped over a wasted teen lay across the path to the doorway.
The house was packed; It was a big house, mansion like. But somehow, even with all the room, it was stuffed with sweaty, drunk teenagers.
The five of us sauntered in, weaving around couples making out or just casually conversing, until we made it to the bar.
"Natsu!" I called, waving my hand towards the boy who was sat the bar with his friends.
Gajeel, Gray, and Jellal were with him, sat around the bar with a drink each.
"Luce!" He called back, walking towards me and wrapping his hand around my waist, to then pull me towards the bar.
The other girls followed too, each conversing with their respected other. However Cana had immediately disappeared, most likely off having a drinking contest somewhere.
"So this party's held by Hibiki from Blue Pegasus right?" Gray asked the group, placing his drank down.
"Yep. That's why most the people here you probably don't recognise. They're all from other universities." Said a familiar voice belonging to a paticular white-haired girl.
Mira was walking towards us, along with Lisanna by her side. After over hearing our conversation, she joined.
"Oh hey!" Juvia greeted, waving toward the pair.
The music carried on blasting through the house, resulting in us shouting at eachother if we wanted the other person to hear a single word. The group went into another room. There were colourful lights flashing around along with lost of people enthusiastically dancing on the dance floor.
"Hey let's dance!" Smiled Natsu as he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the dance floor. Due to me wearing high heels, that resulted in me almost falling over, but quickly being saved by Natsu. He took me to the dance floor where we danced together. After a few drinks, we loosened up and were dancing closely, bodies flowing together as the music carried on.
"Hey Natsu *hic* I'm gonna go to the lady's *hic* room." I said, slurring my words a little whilst releasing myself from his strong grip and exiting the loud room.
I found my self at a staircase. Surely, that's where the toilets would be. The wall supported me as I made my way up the stairs, tipping the odd time but regaining my balance after. I eventually found the toilet, luckily it was empty, leaving me alone to quickly relieve myself before heading out again.
"Look what we have here. Such a pretty girl." Said the voice of a teen boy as I exited the bathroom; he seemed drunk. My vision was a little blurry due to the alcohol intake, so I could quite make out who it was.
Before I could realise what was happening, My back was pressed against the wall and my arms held down by two hands.
"Natsu stop." I slurred, pushing the chest of the boy off me as I slipped my hands from under his grasp.
The boy just laughed, placing sloppy kisses all over my dainty mouth. His hands travelled down my hips, squeezing my skin as he descended further. I tried countless times to push him off but to no avail.
"Natsu stop, *hic* I'm not ready!"
"He he, it's fine sugar. You'll enjoy it." The boy said slyly. His fingers were going further up my thigh as I squirmed beneath his touch.
"Stop! Stop it!" I yelled, trying to punch the boy away from me, though my hits were weak.
My vision was still blurry, making the situation a little more scary. I couldn't exactly tell who was infront of me, and now, after him calling me 'Sugar', I was certain it wasn't Natsu.
I started to whimper, tears slowly forming in my eyes and threatening to fall.
"Please s-stop..." I sobbed, trying my hardest to push the blurry figure away.
"HEY!" Shouted an angry voice coming from the stairway, causing the boys hands to quickly pulling away from me. "LEAVE HER ALONE!"
A wave of relief washed over me as loud footsteps stomped across the landing, stopping right infront of me and the boy. I looked up towards the new arrival, trying to figure out who is was. I could only pick out two features; dark grey hair and a very chilled voice.
"Dude. She's just some chick calm down." The boy said to the one who had just come up the staircase.
"What do you mean 'just some chick'? Show some respect and get the hell out of here!" The angry boy yelled, pushing away the abuser, causing him to turn around and scurry down the stairs.
"Lucy are you okay?" Asked the new boy as he stood infront of me.
I brought my hand to my face, wiping a few tears that managed to fall.
"G-gray?" I asked, still shocked by the whole situation.
"Yeh its me. Don't worry, everything okay now." He assured, walking towards me and grasping my hand. "Come on, I'll take you to Natsu." He said, and continued to take me down the stairs.
-
"Why does this always happen to me? Do I just attract creepy men who like to freaking touch girls!?" I ranted angrily as I lay in my bed beside Natsu, wrapping tightly in his protective arms; by now the alcohol had worn off and I had sobered up moderately.
After the upstairs incident, Gray had kindly taken me to Natsu who then freaked out, worrying about me and apologising for not being there. I assured him I was okay and that nothing happened, leaving him feeling a little better. Then he took me home, resulting in us now, snuggled together in my sheets.
"Goodnight Natsu." I whispered, digging closer into Natsu's chest as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Goodnight Luce."

This story is perfect for you if you are a fan of Coraline and Kingdom Hearts, both of those stories greatly inspired this one. I have recently added the Isekai tag after being unsure if it counts or not. I've decided it fits the description of what it is but not the current trends in the genre. If you go in with Coraline in mind I think you will have a better idea of the kind of Isekai this is. And I've also added the Slice of Life tag, that is only for the first five or six chapters though, then Ty enters the dream world and it pretty quickly becoms a progression fantasy, a mix of more traditional fairy tale like trappings alongside more anime action and acquisition of slowly increasing powers. With all that out of the way, please enjoy! Updates every Tuesday and Thursday! What time of day? It's a mystery! (For now)
