The minutes all stay the same.

But the ticking gets more intense each passing second.

The clock right beside my face is loud and sped up.

Or maybe it's the world that's going slow.

All I know is I can't think.

I just need the ticking to stop.

I'm waiting

and waiting

and waiting.

All I've ever done is wait.

It's all driving me mad.

Why can't the ticking match the rest of the world?

Why am I the only one that hears it?

The expectations I carry on myself are worse than anyone else's.

The ticking better fucking stop.

Or I'll throw the clock against the wall.

Watch as it shatters to pieces and falls.

Can't I fucking get out?

Just get me out of here.

My minds unsafe and I've lost my way.

The worlds too dark to reclaim it all.

Midnight searching's got me nowhere.

This fucking clock.

Doesn't know when to fucking stop.

I need to get out.

I need to get away.

And get this clock to stop going on replay.

A broken record that's lost it's tune.

And a fragile girl that had to leave too soon.
