Me and Mikey left the skiing spot and went to a nearby cafe.

We left our skiing material outside and went in. We immediately took off our hats, gloves, and coats then went to a table.

Me and Mikey were just having small conversation till a boy that looked about our age came to take our order.

" what may i get you guys " the boy says looking at his notepad

" I'll take your breakfast special " i say looking at the menu

" I'll get the same thing " Mikey says

The boy wrote it down on his notepad then finally looked up and just froze.

" is everything ok " I ask with a Rised eyebrow

" uh you look very much like my mom a little " he says with a nervous chuckle

Me and Mikey gave each other a weird look but then the boy snapped out his head.

" um I'm sorry that was kinda weird to say " he says again with a nervous chuckle

" I'm Corey " he says giving out a hand for me to shake

" nice to meet you Corey.. I'm y/n that Mikey " I say

" i usually don't see kids my age in a classy cafe like this " he says outta nowhere

" how about your friends " mikey says

" uh don't really have any " he says making his little smile turn into a frown

" uh I would probably go get your guys order " he says walking away smiling

After he left I looked at Mikey.

" really " I say to him

" what telling a kid we barley know we're gonna be his friend good job y/n " he says

" he doesn't have any friends come on " I say

After that he came back with our order.

" here you guys go " he says then started walking away

" um hey Corey a friend of ours is having a birthday party and I was wondering if you'd like to come " I say

" uh I'd love to " he says with a smile

" here's my number text the details when you get a chance " he says then walks away to cater more tables

He walked away and Mikey just shook his head.

" what " I say confused

" if anything goes wrong at nunu's party.. " he says eating

" everything will go fine I promise " I say giggling

After that we just ate and had small conversation. We got done then called Faith to come get us.

She arrived after a while. We got our stuff then We got into the car and drove off to the house, it was already dark.

We just jammed in the car while Faith was making really funny jokes. Couple minutes later we arrived home.

It was the next day and everyone was getting ready ready to start setting up the house for nunu's party.

I had invited Corey to help us setup the house.

I wasn't a surprise party so nunu knew all the details of the party except the presents we were getting her.

" alright everyone you know your jobs let's get it moving " faith says handing everyone a clipboard

" alright Corey me and you are on decorations.. so that mean balloons and table set ups is our job " I say to Corey

He nodded his head.

" I'm gonna go get the table cloths out one of the vans outside while you can get the balloons " he says

" alright " I say in agreement

Everything was moving fast in the house their was a lot of people their helping with the party so it was kinda chaotic.

I saw dior and decided to ask him where the balloons are.

" hey Dior do you know where the balloons are " I ask him while he was doing something

" naw " he says simply while not looking at me

" is everything ok " I asked confused

" yup, just like everything's ok with you right " he says then walks away

I knew exactly why Dior blew me off, it's because I'm not telling him things anymore like i usually do.

I decided to just go find the balloons myself.

I went outside to one of the vans and saw one that said balloons.

" bingo " I say going to the van and starting to take the boxes out and taking them into my dads office so me and Corey can blow them up then do the tables after

I took the boxes inside and told faith to show Corey where the office was so we can blow the balloons their.

I got to the office and told Corey I'd be back.

He nodded.

I went to the kitchen to get our clipboard when I dumped into bronny.
