It all started ten years ago... My Leash, which, for those of you who don't know, is a group of Foxes, was killed off in the dead of Night when my Twin and I were only six years old... Just shifting into our Foxes for the first time!
We were awaken in the middle of the Night by a loud commotion downstairs, we thought the teenagers of our Leash, Winnie, Lee, Jay, and Donnie were just being extra loud, but... When we went to find out what they were doing, we learned that it wasn't the four rowdy teens being extra Naughty at all... It was our Leash...
Being murdered.
We managed to hide it out, Mama and Papa getting us to safety just in time, and when we finally re-emerged from the Cellar three days later, our entire house was vaccant... No family, no enemies, no bodies, not even a speck of blood! It was as if... As if our Leash just altogether vanished before our very eyes!
We knew, after four months of purely waiting, that they hadn't just disappeared that crazy, terrifying Night that we thought... They really were dead! Murdered by a Fox-Shifters greatest enemy... Vampires.
My brother and I eventually healed... The past becoming just that! The past. We couldn't stay in the house we had grown up in, so we decided to stay in an old Den deep in the Woods surrounding our old home... And now, ten years later, we have still lived in the Den... Staying close together, and never venturing too far from the place we have since called home.
