She looked over and saw Blaze smiling at them, holding Bailey's hand and they watched as Bailey put on a helmet and hopped on the back of his motorcycle.

Bailey waved and at them and said, "Jolie I'll see you at the game tonight. Good luck Austin!"

Bailey reached her arms around Blaze's waist with the biggest smile on her face while he started up the engine and it rumbled loudly as he pulled away out of the parking lot. She just hoped for Bailey's sake that Blaze would stay clean and straighten up his act like he said he would. He really seemed sincere about it.

"They're so cute together aren't they?" she asked Austin. "Hey did you know that Blaze talked to Ryan's Dad on the way to the hospital and told him about all the stuff that Ryan had done to you and why you fought him? That's the reason why he took your side and wanted to drop the charges and everything."

"Really? I didn't know that. Plus he offered to take the blame for me. It's crazy. Who would have ever thought that Blaze McDaniels would end up being the best friend I have?" he laughed.

"He said you guys used to be friends in elementary school before Ryan started making plans more and more for you guys to hang out without him, so he found some new friends."

Austin thought about it and said, "Yeah I guess I did do that to him. I never thought about it before. That makes me feel really bad considering all the things he's done for me lately. I'll have to try to make it up to him with the little bit of time we have left in school."

"That would be nice," Jolie said smiling at him and giving him another kiss before they split off and got into the Jeep and headed towards the house.

Austin had to go to the stadium early for warm ups so Jolie had asked Bailey and Blaze to give her a ride there since she was going to be watching the game with them anyway and then she would ride home with Austin after. She was told that everyone dresses crazy in the school colors for Homecoming so she wore Austin's blue and gold football uniform shirt with the black leggings and some tall blue and gold striped socks. She put her hair up in pig tails with big blue and yellow pom poms and painted Austin's number on her one cheek in blue and RHS on the other side.

She heard a knock at the door and she rushed downstairs and opened it to see Bailey wearing a blue t-shirt with the yellow school logo on it, some leggings and tall yellow socks with white tennis shoes. Her hair was sprayed with blue and yellow glitter coloring and one side of her face was painted completely blue and the other side was painted completely yellow.

Jolie laughed when she saw her and Bailey said, "Hey this was all Blaze's idea. You should see what he looks like."

Jolie looked outside and Blaze had the windows rolled down so she yelled "Blaze come in here so my Mom can take pictures of all of us!"

When Blaze stepped in the house Jolie laughed so hard she almost fell down. His hair was all bright neon blue and spiked straight up and his face, ears and neck were colored bright yellow. He looked like a cartoon character from the Simpsons. He had on a blue school t-shirt with bright neon yellow spandex pants with some blue boxer shorts over them. It was the funniest thing Jolie had ever seen.

Her Mom, Stacy, came in to see what all the noise was about and when she saw Blaze and Bailey she laughed out loud so hard that it hurt everyone's ears. She had to grab the back of the couch to keep from falling over with laughter. Her Mom took several pictures of the three of them before they all headed outside and Jolie got into the backseat of Blaze's car.

Austin went to the locker room and opened his locker, stripping down naked so he could get his gear on. He pulled on his jock strap and then his football pants, and looked over and saw Chaz watching him.

"What dude? You checking me out or something?"

Chaz walked over and said, "No I'm not checking you out. Some of us guys were talking and we were wondering what was taking you so long to seal the deal with Jolie. She's been your girlfriend for a while now and you're the freakin' quarterback of the football team and you look like a movie star. What's taking you so long? You losing your touch Fox?"

"Why do you care so much Chaz? What's it to you? You have some money bet on me and you're in a hurry to cash in or something?" Austin asked.

Chaz laughed. "Yeah maybe I do. I guess I overestimated your abilities."

"It's not like that with Jolie dude. She's not some chick I'm just trying to sleep with. She's wife material and she's worth the wait."

"Did you seriously just say 'wife material'?" Chaz asked with a disgusted look on his face. "We're seniors in high school dude. We're about to go off to college where there's going to be tons of hot girls. You should be getting with as many chicks as you can while you can. You're the quarterback. You could literally have any girl in school and you want to waste that by being with just one and that one won't even sleep with you? Really?"

"What can I say? I guess I'm mature for my age," Austin said, pulling his jersey on over his pads and then sitting down to tie up his cleats.

"Yeah mature like an old grandpa," Chaz remarked walking away.

Austin smiled to himself. There was no way he was going to tell Chaz the pervert that he already had plans to sleep with Jolie after the dance tomorrow. That was none of his business and no one needed to know about it but him and her.

Jolie looked up in the stands and the bleachers were already filling up quickly. She noticed that almost everybody in the student section was wearing bright blue and yellow and had their faces painted with crazy hair. She thought it was pretty cool how everyone really got into the football games here because it made it more exciting. They found some seats right in the middle of the student section and sat down with Bailey next to her and Blaze on Bailey's other side.

"Is it weird that I'm actually excited to watch a game?" Blaze asked laughing.

"No, I'm actually excited too and I hate football," Bailey laughed and Jolie saw that they were holding hands.

"Thank you guys for coming with me! It's going to be so much more fun watching with you guys than with the Moms, even though I love them both," Jolie said, as she saw Austin's Mom and her Mom walking past the bottom of the stands. She waved at them and they both gave her a wave and a thumbs up before moving on and sitting together over on the other side.

"I heard the guys saying that this team is really brutal and they play dirty. Hopefully no one gets hurt," Blaze told them and Jolie was suddenly worried. Blaze's words made her nervous. She hadn't even thought about Austin getting hurt. He did say this team was their biggest rival so they would all be playing as hard as they could to win.

When the game was about to start the announcer got over the loud speaker and announced each player's name as they ran out onto the field and waved. They saved Austin's name for last and the crowd went wild, cheering and screaming on their feet.

The cheerleaders came out and started a cheer as the players huddled around the coach talking for a few minutes before half of them split off to go out on the field and half sat on the bench. When the game started our side had possession of the ball and Austin threw the ball way over at Chaz who caught it and ran all the way down to the end of the field, scoring a touch down. The crowd went wild and the coach for the other team started screaming and throwing things. He kicked a big water canister and threw his arms up in the air in disbelief.

The game continued going on this way with our side dominating the whole first quarter. Jolie heard some old guys behind her talking and they said, "Wow Austin Fox really is incredible. He's the best quarterback this town has ever had. It's a shame he's about to graduate."

"Yeah the coach told me he'll be playing football at Harvard."

"Is he thinking about trying to go pro after college?"

"No coach said he wants to be a doctor."

"Oh. Well that's nice but he should really try to go pro. He's good enough. Imagine if we had a famous NFL player from our little town. Wouldn't that be amazing?"

"Well maybe he'll change his mind after college and decide to try out. You never know."

shooIt was so weird to heard other people discussing Austin's future. He had his heart so set on being a doctor that she really doubted he would want to go into the NFL.

There were several more great passes by Austin and our team had a substantial lead when it was finally time for half-time. The announcer called out that the homecoming court should come down to the field and line up. Jolie was so nervous as her, Blaze and Bailey made their way down the stairs and out onto the field.

"Where's Austin?" Bailey asked and then Jolie spotted him coming out from the locker room area wearing his football uniform. He pulled his helmet off and shook his hair and it was almost like he was in slow motion. He was so perfect. He looked so hot in his uniform. He walked over to Jolie, bending down to give her a kiss and her stomach fluttered. She still couldn't believe he was really her boyfriend.
