When he opened the door to the house, the television was on but Simon didn't seem like he was around. He had contacted Aaron so many times and when the boy checked his phone, they calls he had missed were over two-hundred.
He closed the door and walked over to the rooms, passing Simon's, he heard talking coming from behind the door.
"Sy? Are you here?" He asked, knocking once before the door opened abruptly, revealing a tear stained Simon with bloodshot eyes and a distressed expression.
"Are you—"
He was stopped when Simon suddenly landed a harsh slap on his left cheek. Aaron was taken aback by that, but before he could react, Simon wrapped his arms around him and pulled him into a tight embrace.
"You fucking idiot! Where in the world were you?!" Simon sobbed into his shoulders.
This was the first time Aaron had ever heard the elder cry actual tears before. "You scared me half to death! I thought you had ran away like before! Do you know how worried I was?" He lightly hit Aaron's back with his fist.
"I'm sorry." Aaron said and hugged him back. "I promise I won't disappear again. Please don't cry."
Simon tightened his grip on him one last time before pulling back. "I know you won't tell me what you were up to so I won't bother asking but...please don't pull such a stunt on me ever again you hear me?" He said while whipping his tears. "I looked everywhere, I contact everyone we knew and even involved the police, you have no idea the state you put me through, I almost had a mental breakdown for gods sake!" He laughed as he spoke, but Aaron knew that he was just trying to hide how hurt he was.
Aaron hugged him again. "I'm sorry, it's all over now. I don't want to see you sad so I'll be good from now on, k?" He said sincerely. "I promise I'll be good." He nuzzled his face in Simon's chest.
"You're fine baby. I was just worried." Simon assured him. He pulled him back and examined his face. "Does it hurt?" He asked as he traced his thumb over the area he had hit.
"Kiss it better?" He tilted his head slightly, feeling himself begin to fall into little space.

Simon kissed the spot and smiled. "Better?"
"Not yet, one more." He pouted and Simon kissed it again. "That's all Daddy, thank you..." he didn't even finish his sentence before he collapsed in Simons hands.
"Where in world were you that you're this tired?" He questioned and sighed, carrying in the boy up and walking him to his bedroom.
He took his clothes off and left him in his boxers, popping a pacifier between his lips and kissing his whole face before laying next to him as well.
Aaron was first to wake up. It was around three in the afternoon and he was tired, hungry and really needed to use the restroom. Problem being, Simon had locked him in his chest so tightly he honestly couldn't even breathe right.
"daddy!" He called out trying his best to shake the man's body. "I have use bathroom." He tried again.
"You're hurting me."
Simon lifted his head up at such speed Aaron almost fell off the bed. "Baby are you okay? Daddy's sorry. Where does it hurt?" He asked, running his hands all over the boy.
"I gotta pee."
"Oh..." he relaxed himself. "Let's get going then." He carried him off the bed and walked them to the bathroom.
After eating, they decided to make a play date together. Going to places like the art museum and the prehistoric centre. They spent their last few hours watching a movie on the iPad in Simons car while snacking on cake pops and pretzels.
They returned home a little bit passed eight. Simon saying he had something to show Aaron, but when they stepped into Aaron's bedroom, his body tensed.
"This is a place I never thought I'd open ever again because of the story behind it that I don't want to revisit." He said, hands on both sides of Aaron's shoulders.
"I'm dead." Aaron's thoughts offered and he nodded nervously.
Simon proceeded to opening the closet and revealing the door. "I'm sorry!" Aaron suddenly bursted, holding onto Simons hand. "I already know! I found it after moving here and I've been keeping it from you all this time, please don't be mad!" He spoke really quickly, Simon didn't even hear half of it.
He chuckled. "I know that silly, I just wanted to be the one to show it to you." He said and laughed again.

Aaron gave him a perplexed look. "How did you know?"
"Alan's not really good at keeping his mouth shut." He said simply. "Come on! I wanna clean it out so we can fill it with you things!" He said with excitement, pushing the door open and pulling Aaron inside.
A few hours later, the room was decorated with all of Aaron's little things. It took a while to compromise with him, but Simon allowed Aaron to keep some of the items, all the stuffed animals and story books, but everything else, he put aside, deciding to donate them to an orphanage or something like that.
They ate dinner and wasted the rest of their time in the playroom. "Hiyah! I am the knight Ari! Here to save the great prince Daddy from the your clutches duke pikachu!" Aaron said, swinging around a toothbrush as a sword with a tie around his head as a bandana.
Pikachu, being a stuffed animal, just stared back at Aaron. "How dare you insult me! Release prince daddy this instant!" He pointed the toothbrush right at him, causing him to tumble over. "I, Knight Ari, has defeated the powerful Pikachu!" He jumped up, making a heroic pose.
"Wow! Knight Ari, I can't believe you beat duke Pikachu with just one strike!" Simon swooned and cheered, wrapping his hands around Aaron. "As prince, I shall reward you with anything you want."
"Triple scoop ice cream, strawberry vanilla and cookie and cream, lots of sprinkles and Hello Panda on the sides!" He immediately said. "Right. This. Minute."
Simon fluttered his lashes in shock. "M-maybe not anything. How about an endless amount of kisses!" He threw his hands up.
"I guess that's a bit better than a triple scoop—" before he could finish, Simon began showering him with kisses all over his face, causing the boy go into a fit of giggles.
"D-Daddy! S-Stop! Tickles!" He tried to speak, but Simon wouldn't stop.
After their little playtime, they decided it was probably time to call it a night, but that's when a thought popped into Aaron's head.
"I have to follow Cas for tonight!" He suddenly turned around to Simon.
"You're still on about that?" The elder chuckled. "Alrighty, I guess I'll help." He shrugged.
The mission was set into motion, they pretended to sleep Simons bedroom where Casper's bed was also located.
Thirty minutes later, Casper got up and began to walk out, Simon had of course left the door a little open to make the process faster. The two tip-toed behind him and followed him down the stairs to the basement area. Casper made a turn to the mountains of boxes and began pushing the until an opening to the outside appeared. Once he stepped out, the two noticed the the space was too small so they ran outside in the backyard and found Casper jumping over the bricks and out the back gate.
Simon opened the gate and they continued on following. He lead them through the dark alleyway and into a bushy area. They stopped at an area near a lake by a park. Casper walked through the vines that lead to the lake and when the two peaked through, they couldn't believe their eyes.
Four little baby kittens, one running around and another near another cat that they guessed to be the kittens' mother.
"Wow, he did have babies!" Aaron said with wide eyes, keeping his shrieks low so he didn't scare them.
"Never would've guessed he would be such a rebel, getting a girl pregnant and not telling his daddy." Simon shook his head.
"I wanna hug then all, they're adorable!" Aaron cooed.
"Come on then." Simon held on to his hand and walked through the vines.
The cats were startled but Casper relaxed once he saw them.
The other cats were just as white as Casper but with a very light brown patches of fur on the head and ears. The female cat was what Simon called a 'Turkish Angora' it was beautiful and looked very bold and fearless. That really emphasised how rich the area they lived in was, Turkish Angoras ranged in the three thousands or even more.
"Hey there little baby, wanna be friends?" He reached out to one of the cats.
He paused once he noticed something on the little's right ear, a small ribbon had been tied to it and on the end...
"a ring?"
