Hello princess ;)
I read it over and over. How did this stranger get my number? And who is it? I began typing a reply;
Who is this and how did you get my number?
it's confidential princess ;)
Princess? Jeon Jungkook?
Jeon Jungkook.
exactly. that took 2 long.
sowhy weren't you at school 2day?
I cringed at the grammar.

None of your business.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why, did you miss me?
watever you say, princess.

I woke up late today since I stayed up late studying. Grabbing a piece of toast while I tied my shoes, I grabbed my bag and headed out. I always started walking to school thirty minutes before school starts since my house is far away—of course I could take the bus but I find the space very tight.
I heard an engine rumble behind me. Not looking behind myself, my first instinct is to run—so I do.
"It's just me, princess." Jeon Jungkook's voice called out. I looked back, finding Jungkook sticking his head out of the rolled-down window.
"You're going to be late for first block, do you need a ride?" He asked.
I gulp, shaking my head quickly.
I denied him because I don't want to experience the pain I felt 8 years ago, I don't want to see the visions.
"Suit yourself" he grumbled.
As soon as I thought he'd left, I calmed myself down and started walking again. Two hands were gripped on my waist as they lifted me onto their shoulders. I struggle in their grip, kicking, punching and moving around altogether but it didn't loosen their grip on me.
The person placed me into the passenger seat. Not caring who it was, I tried to flee, but the person caught me before I could make five steps. "Can you just chill?" I opened my eyes, finding Jeon Jungkook.

My body relaxed by a little bit, knowing that I wasn't getting kidnapped.
I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down like earlier. No panic attacks, Y/N. Not today.
As uninvited as it was, visions popped into my head. Fire, the car flipping, my legs being crushed by the force that has left a scar—the explosion. Screaming, screaming didn't help me get my brother or my parents back. Fire was everywhere, on me, on Dae-suk, it burned me alive.
I sniffle, tears streaming down my cheeks. I was hoping that he wouldn't notice, but he did. Jungkook stopped on the side of the road and softly grabs my chin, pulling me to look at him. He frown, seeing me in such a horrible state.
"What's wrong, princess?" He looks at me intensely. It's like he knows what I'll say, but if I don't say it, he'll know I'm lying.
"I-I'm fine." I lie.
"Ddaeng" He replies immediately.
"Don't cry. I don't know what is going on, but you tell me when you're ready, princess." He says softly before wiping my tears with his thumb.
After the little moment we shared, he pulled back onto the road and we quickly got to the school. Grabbing my bag, I placed it onto my back as I exited the car. I felt eyes on me. As I looked up, It felt as if the whole school was looking at me, at us.
Jae-eun stood there too. Her mouth wide open. "Why is everyone staring?" I asked, walking towards her.
"He isn't exactly a player... or into relationships. When he has a girl riding with him, it's odd. Plus, nobody really expected you." I roll my eyes, slapping her arm playfully.
"And that means...?"
"You in general!" She yelled. I shook my head as we walked to our next class.

The day went by pretty quickly. I placed a few textbooks and binders in my backpack to bring home and study—somebody suddenly slams the locker door on my fingers, leaving a painful sensation. The person's hand covered my mouth as I screamed in agony.
I opened my eyes, somehow able to stabilize myself even though the pain was still unbearable. I saw Jae-woo. She has always been the bully, and the one night stand for most of Bangtan. Her clothing a little shorter than what it should be, her hair lengthy and flowy, just perfect. I don't know about him, but Jae-woo has always had a crush on Jungkook.
"Stay away from Jeon Jungkook," she sneered, grabbing my shirt's collar.
"We're just friends," I grunted out. Her nails dug into my skin, that'll probably leave a mark.
"Daddy didn't give you enough attention? You whore, I claimed Jungkook a long time ago, don't go around seducing men." She smirked.
Whore. How low is that. My eyes widened at her words, I whimpered, not wanting to cry.
"Stay away from him or I'll make your life living hell," She smirked, pushing me back as she lets go of my shirt collar.
I say that Jungkook and I are friends, but I don't know even we're even friends—I don't know what we are. We are just friends.
I apologize this is a boring chapter!
