The cold wind bit at the tip of Zane's trembling skin as he moved between the drowning leaves to reach the one location where the top dogs slept. Zane pulled out his black foggy daggers and scanned the area to see if anyone was patrolling. Once he was done with scanning, Zane hopped from his position and landed right at the zipper.

He reached the zipper and pulled it down quietly, he poked his head in afterwards and saw her, the theft identity of Gianna Fox, peacefully sleeping away beside the grandpa that was fooled by the resemblance.

It was working too well for Zane, he stood over the fake identity and directed his demonic daggers towards the heart of the sleeping beauty until something got in his way. The old man gripped hold onto Zane's wrist and glared at him with a fierce look in his eyes, Zane was then thrown outside into the dampened dirt with a roughly kick to the face afterwards.

"You were a spy?!" Sergeant Fox roared filled with anger.

"No no- You're misunderstanding things!" Zane spurted out desperately, trying to fool Sergeant Fox with his faked terror.

"How am I catching you almost murdering my grandaughter as a misunderstanding?!" Sergeant Fox snapped back.

"That isn't your real grandaughter!" Zane yelled back so Sergeant Fox could hear him perfectly under the storming rain.

"What do you mean?" Sergeant Fox asked with a voice that isn't anger, it was a saddening tone that displayed the betrayal.

"Let's speak, shall we?" Zane asked politely.

They hid far in the woods and chatted on about the situations they were both trapped in, Sergeant Fox couldn't take the truth that well as he slammed his wet fist into the thick trunks of trees, causing an outburst of suffering dust to evaporate.

But Zane kept his composure and carried on even if it meant him nearly getting beheaded by a raging monster unravelling all the secrets that were hidden away from him for life.

"Then where is she now?!" Sergeant Fox shouted, grabbing hold of Zane's shoulder to violently shake him back and forth.

"S-she's that silvered hair girl you imprisoned-" Zane struggled to answer.

"I imprisoned my daughter? I've been a demon to my own daughter?" Sergeant Fox sniffed with tears pouring from his red, stained eyes.

Zane quietly patted Sergeant Fox on his shoulder and listened to his cries echo throughout the darkened forest with dimmed lights forcing their way to find a perfect solution to brighten up the naturist forest that has been locked away since the Civil War started many years ago.

It became a week of Sergeant Fox secretly interacting with the real daughter and faking smiles and laughs with the theft, trying his utmost best to not behead the devil in front of a blinded crowd that thought nothing of their brightly lit relationship.

They also learnt all the secrets to how their base was found in distant rooms where nobody stepped foot in, the person behind all this was also the fake daughter who worked alongside the Government, giving all the ideas the Rebels planned.

It made sense to them why all their battles were always faced with struggles from the first day Sergeant Fox grabbed hold of his fake daughter.

But that wouldn't matter anymore, they were pulling all the strings and faking every detail to fool the theft.

Their reputation became dangerously popular with their recent events of destroying every Government base hideout they accidentally, or purposely found wandering through the mysterious woods.

The size became larger and larger as each day went on to the point they were seen as brave monsters under the influence of the shadowy friends.

Which got to the point they were nicknamed, "Shadowy's Distant Brothers".
