《That Isn't My Imaginary Friend(Cancelled)》21: Angelia Summer, Escaping From Trouble To Meet Another Troublesome Situation

Blood painted the grounds, eyes widened in the sights of a brutal battle scenery, both opponents suffered tremendous injuries as both of their strength combined, forming ripples of obliteration.
Grounds underneath started becoming a cracking life source where they transformed into circled crates, kicking up all the dirty, bacterial particles just from the feet movements used for kicking attacks.
Hands swung back and forth being blocked by each attack bruising the attacker every each time, even more, vanishing away from the unarmed state.
"I knew you were a troubled person planning such events like these!" Ryan groaned between the punching tendency.
"Troubled? You're a fucking retard for believing the shitty government!" Angelia laughed loudly, showing Ryan her widened glare where red flames erupted from the inks of her candescent vermeil eyes.
"You don't believe in justice?!" Ryan roared, slamming Angela onto the ground, watching her blemish across the snow, Angelia instantly dug her sharp nails into the snow interrupting herself from getting hurt anymore.
Angelia zipped behind Ryan in an instant, uncovering that her spiral horn grew larger and spikier, her unblinking eyes matched the surprised eyes of Ryan as her exterior leg raised into a kicking indication.
"Justice isn't trapping up the innocent who never wanted the devil himself suck their mind away" Angelia bitterly responded, aggressively kicking Ryan on the side of the hips which sent him flying across the surface.
Ryan continued rolling all over the snow, grabbing hold of snow particles glueing onto his fluffy wings that were curled all around Ryan trying to protect his bare skin, before he could get up again the blur of a foot flew towards his way.
Pain stabbed all over Ryan between his uncontrolled gliding across the cold sky, keeping his stare on Angelia's monstrous stare as delicate blood gushed from out of his snapped nose.

The wings unfolded desperately, clenching back onto the lasting balance from being forced to flap forwards once, washing away the itchy grass with its substantial invisible force, while Ryan hovered in the air he went over the words Angelia alerted in his head again, feeling that it was truthful and doubtful at the same time.
"Maybe she's right…" Ryan whispered to himself "No! Get out of my head! I'm doing what is right for the world!" Ryan added, slapping himself a few times, turning his attention back on Angelia's position.
Winds became the harmonious melody under each flap of a wing, increasing Ryan's already inhuman speed to reach Angelia to fight back what he thought he was painfully losing.
Once his fist crashed with Angelia's cheek, her body initiated drifting backwards covered in pouring non-stop blood, Ryan gave Angelia no time to fight back as he flew quicker, grasping his hands around Angelia's neck the soon he reached the destination.
Brutal clashing continued in the heights of the sky, an opening door for a purposely murdered attempt if one hand slipped from the persistent punches.
"Please stop fighting back, I don't want to accidentally drop a friend" Ryan calmly pursued.
"Haha! You're still a kind loser who never knows how to change their minds on something because you're such an annoying prick" Angelia chuckled in a nasty manner, demonstrating a wicked grin.
"I know what I'm doing right" Ryan snapped back, gradually softening the grip around Angelia's neck.
"Oh do you?~ I'm pretty my lover is doing something way more right than what you're doing, he's saving the world and is accepting such things as shadowy figures. While the shitty organisation you work for are all full of psychopaths exploiting everyone" Angelia proudly laughed, becoming silent when she saw a shocked expression shape on Ryan's face.

"You know where Zane is?!" Ryan quivered out in a held back crying voice.
"Of course I know where my darling is" Angelia snickered "But why should I tell you're betraying ass?" Angelia added in a murderous, cold voice.
"Because my whole plan in the government was to search where Zane disappeared" Ryan growled honestly.
After their fighting ended, Ryan glanced at the soldiers aiming their weapons not just at Angelia but at Ryan as well, he hovered in a thought process, finally whisking away into the abandoned world after deciding his decision holding Angelia on his back.
They both eventually reached a bombed town to drop onto the ground and rest for a while, they wiped their stained mouths and glanced around the violent atmosphere, enduring all of the erupted in flames vehicles from previous combats.
"So, you're saying you knew where Zane was this entire time?" Ryan disappointedly asked, turning his eyes towards Angelia's direction.
"Yes indeed, I used the secret rooms you ordered builders to build so I could listen to my Zane's amazing voice~" Angelia explained giggling, not hiding her fully blushed face.
"Crazy bitch, where is he now?" Ryan directly asked in the middle of pulling out his running phone, pulling up the map.
"He's near the recent battle" Angelia answered seeing Ryan nod his head up and down in a serious investigating manner, his eyes were seen following his fingers pressing onto the words of the location, beholding the twelve-mile journey.
"Oh, we were closer than we expected" Ryan suddenly cackled to himself.
Grabbing hold of nothing, they proceeded their journey through the ruined town, coming across an appealing forest embracing the new recent visitors, they both walked over logs over long lakes, ducked under fallen trees, slapped away bugs bothering their walks to eventually stand in front of a factual castle spurt out of the frozen ground.
Ryan's wings accumulated back inside his collarbone while Angelia struggled to get rid of her sighting horn, as they came closer they started hearing the large amounts of nervous chattering as sounds of guns collapse onto the ground, they were picking up on exhausted soldiers coming home from their conflict.
"Welcome home, brave soldiers!" An old voice cheered from the distinct side, being attended by roars of cheers.
"Get on the ground!" The voice of an angered male voice suddenly demanded out of the blue beside Ryan and Angelia who both reacted to the voice by darting their eyes over to the five men group of soldiers aiming their guns at both of their positions.
"W-Woah Woah! Calm down" Ryan nervously shuttered, raising his hands into the climate.
"Give me your names!" One of the soldiers yelled.
"My name is Ryan Robertson, this female beside me is Angelia Summer" Ryan obliged, trying to keep calm under a scary situation, shaking in fear as he watched the group turn together trying to see if they remember any of the names as they used their hands to cover their opening mouths.
"There's no point, they will arrest us-" Angelia went on to say.
"We finally caught one of the main captains of the government army" A chuckled man greeted himself, walking out from the shadows to arrest Ryan from behind "Arrest her too" The man added.
When Ryan and Angelia thought they escaped trouble, they ran into another troublesome situation.

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

The Mortal Acts
The Mortal Acts is an epic progression fantasy with a lower focus on training aspects and a great focus on discovering new ways of using powers intelligently. I've always been drawn to stories where characters use their powers creatively to overcome opponents and obstacles, and I think all the possibilities can provide a great playground for twists and turns. It's inspired by a variety of media, including Will Wight's Cradle, Hunter x Hunter, and Bioshock, so if you like the creative power use elements from those, come check it out. This is my first serial, and please feel free to leave comments and feedback. For backstory, behind-the-scenes, and other fun stuff, come chat on my discord! Become a patron to read up to 20 chapters ahead here! Blurb: Riven Morell cuts short his regular life at school and home when his mother falls terminally ill. Desperate to find a cure, he travels to Severance Frontier, a desolate land haunted by hordes of ghosts, witches, and demons collectively called the Deathless. But a miraculous cure doesn’t magically fall into his hands. Things are worse in Severance Frontier than Riven had assumed. Ghosts are banding together into armies, demons are kidnapping anyone who strays out of settlements, and witches are enslaving everyone left and right. Riven, of course, gets embroiled in the mess. Missions to curb the Deathless activity are one thing, but when it starts to look like this is just the beginning of a war that extends beyond the mortal realm, Riven has a hard time focusing on why he came to Severance Frontier in the first place. His mother is inching towards death with every passing day, but if he doesn’t face down the Deathless, what little civilization the Frontier holds will be overrun and destroyed. Thankfully, it looked like the Deathless might just hold the secret of the elusive cure.
