Watery fluids poured down Zane's itchy throat under the grey clouds of smoke blocking the entrance from the booming shine of the wandering, exploding sunshine.

Exhausted breaths formed creations of mist from heavy, energy drained puffs, resistance soldiers were collapsed onto the ground while all the government soldiers scrambled into a long set of lines, stripping themselves into their underwear by ordinance.

Paranoid civilians stumbled around the area, cuddling every resistance soldier they spotted in the region.

"Masked guy, can I hug you?" A young, innocent boy politely asked a resting Zane with his balaclava pulled over his top lips, Zane pulled down the mask under his chin and investigated the voice to find a small, fragile kid with brown hair wave down onto his skinny shoulders, standing 5'1 ft tall expressing a concerning emotion.

"Sure" Zane unconsciously answered, wrapping his arms around the small boy in a hugging way, hugging him tightly following it with a few gentle, calmed pats on the small boy's shivering back.

"Look at you getting along" Erika interrupted the moment in her sarcastic, joking tone before she began to settle beside Zane's calves, shooting her head up to encounter a gawking Zane.

"Didn't think the coldest guy in our group could get any cooler" Bexley greeted herself, stopping in her track in front of Zane's field of vision making sure she got his attention on her at all times.

They all reunited before they went on another walking trips, waving goodbyes to all the innocence they luckily saved, their feet stomped down the heavy snow piles of overlaying oceans of the white angels, withstanding the muscles in their legs beginning to painfully cramp up the more they continued the long, tiring marching.

Once they reached the solitary castle, Zane noticed something was dearly off when the soldiers from inside the castle walls kept watching his every movement.

"Zane, there's people from in the cells wanting to meet you" Gianna suddenly approached Zane, sounding very curious as her eyes eyed Zane up and down, repeatedly fiddling with her hair strings down to the bottom from up to the top.

"Wanting to meet me?" Zane asked, confused.

"Yes, they said you were an old memory from the past" Gianna curiously announced.

Keeping hold of the words, Zane wandered down into the closed-off cells, stepping into the unwelcomed abyss and began searching around with his eyes until he came across two very familiar figures on the right of the downwards stairs, connecting eye contact with the two figures from inside the secured cells.

"Zane...is that you?" Ryan's shocked voice squeezed out, catching Zane off-guard as he stepped back a little, returning to his reading on the two figures, noticing the sharp black horn poke out of the girl who stood beside Ryan, clasping onto the bars with a thirsty look on her rosy sketched face.

Zane felt speechless, he suddenly glimpsed at the silvered hair girl he previously met when he was prisoned, catching a split second of her face blow up with negative emotions, her face started articulating surprised and sad sensations.

"Yes, I am Zane," Zane confessed after collecting his rushing thoughts, turning back his dull stare on Ryan's sculpture.

"That's crazy...I've finally found you" Ryan cried, wiping the tears that ripped down his blood-stained face.

"My darling~ You've grown~" Angelia giggled insanely, desperately reaching her arms out to caress her cold hands against Zane's unfazed chest.

"Friends, huh?" Gianna chuckled silently "What an amazing moment, but I, unfortunately, can't let out Ryan since he is a part of the government-" Gianna informed, feeling an invisible wave of vicious apprehension.

"Let them out" Zane demanded coldly.

"I c-can't do that-" Gianna coughed out, suffering the amount of million blades stab her heart away being conquered by what felt like an intruding hand was squeezing the life out of her rapid punching heart.

"I said, let them out. You don't prison my friends no matter what harm they did, they're my long lost friends" Zane penetrated loudly, forcing all the prisoned inmates to crumble on the diseased floor including Ryan and Angelia as well, making it hard for them to breathe out at once.

Gianna finally learnt the fear her father felt when Zane's murderous intentions plunged out of his sharp comments, her tanned face was overwhelmed by the colour of a pale white.

After that incident happened, the two were let out of the cells and they were seen resting against a tree outside of the castle alongside Zane, gazing at the delicate sky meander across the atmosphere.

"How have you been?" Ryan smiles, directing his eyes towards Zane's unmasked face, watching him ponder his eyes all over the ground.

"I've been doing ok, how about you two?" Zane answered, returning the question.

"Well, I've been doing fine but Angelia was in a prison I worked for" Ryan chuckled.

"But that doesn't matter because I finally can be near you~" Angelia cheered, hugging her arms around Zane's left arm as tight as she possibly can "Better not have cheated on me" Angelia added in a passive-aggressive posture.

"Right, so I've heard you worked for the government?" Zane asked, keeping his eyes on Angelia's unblinking watch.

"I used to but I now understand the true situation, them devilish bastards" Ryan grumbled, clasping his hands into a restless fist.

"Glad I didn't have to face you in a conflict because I'll easily embarrass you" Zane joked playfully.

"Haha, well that was about to happen since I was told we were going to attack this base" Ryan cackled.

"That's new information, I'll need to tell the higher-ups about this situation" Zane quickly responded in the middle of twisting his body at the entrance of the castle entrance.

"Wait! Why can't we just escape and live a peaceful life?" Ryan spurted out, gripping hard onto Zane's upper arm region.

"Don't worry, that's my first mission. My other mission is the one I need to do first" Zane replied, pulling down the balaclava over his pointed chin.

Night falls across the bright sky, dimming the eyesights of travelling people, being returned with lightened up torches pasted across the castle walls.

"So, why did you react that way?" Zane's voice questioned from in the silenced shadows.

The silvered hair girl glanced at Zane in a panicked mood, instantly locking eyes with Zane's stranded grey eyes.

"Because I'm…"
