《That Isn't My Imaginary Friend(Cancelled)》1: Zane Fog, The Introduction

Snow freely fell onto the dry, stomped up ground.

Particles stuck onto the classroom ran down walls like glue as two eyes that dulled down the brightness from how grey they were, gazed at the window where snow formed beautiful pattern views under pressure from the ongoing, strong, bitter wind roaring all its rage.

This boy who sat all alone, surrounded by the loud noises flowing out of all of the student's mouth, fiddled with his erasing reality pencil from drawing a portrait of the shadowy figure in his memories.

He pondered throughout the busy room, reading the lips carefully move around to make long sentences of words.

"Zane Fog?" A sudden female voice questioned Zane, the grey-eyed boy who responded by lurching out of his chair, knocking the chair a few centimetres back creating an eerie scraping noise, standing 6'0 foot.

"Yes?" Zane nervously answered with another question.

"Here is your work" The female teacher alerted, indicating the opened up palm where an A4 paper slept peacefully across the female's soft textured skin.

Gathering up all the info, Zane stepped towards the teacher at the front of the class in front of a touch screen technology on the wall, beaming bright history lessons at the dimmed down classroom from the massive shadow that reflected off a gigantic tree that stood taller than the entire building.

Zane took a glance at his test sheet, spotting a red mark scream out "92%" in its bold font form, puzzled from the unexpected score he ignored the person he accidentally bumped into as he suddenly faced his body toward his chair which was located in the middle of the twenty-three student room.

All comfy in his chair, he proceeded to stare at his test answers believing he was in a dream because he always scored underneath ninety, a smile unknowingly curved into his pale, dead skin before it was interrupted by a certain someone.

"Oh~ you scored ninety did you?" A playful high pitched voice asked Zane, this female overshadowed Zane and stood 5'5 feet tall, wore her brunette shade hair into a ponytail leaving out the fringe that rested on her nicely shaped eyebrows.

She had gorgeous blue ocean eyes, wore a neat, newly polished school uniform while Zane's uniform was all messy.

"Yes, I did" Zane bluntly answered, thinking nothing of the situation.

Shocked by the sudden, cold reply, the female snatched a chair from behind her and spun it around to face Zane, immediately sitting in the chair, placing her elbows on Zane's desk so she could rest her chin.

"No need to be so cold now~" The female giggled cheerfully.

"Sorry sorry, it was a sudden reaction I always kept with me from a young age" Zane calmly responded.

"Interesting~" The female mumbled quietly, making it hard for Zane to hear.

"Huh?" Zane spoke out.

"I said it's interesting. You're an interesting guy" The female chuckled.

"How does a sudden reaction make me interesting?" Zane questioned dumbfounded.

"I don't know!~ it's how my brain works- by the way! My name is Angela Summer but you should've known that by now since I am pretty popular around here" Angela chirped proudly of herself, pumping out her chest making it clear she's confident in what she was saying.

"I only just knew your name now," Zane said bitterly, hurting Angela as her lips form into a pout that showed she was affected by the words.

"That's very rude you know?" Angela whined, placing her hands on the side of her hips.

The slow but yet fast conversation bonding between Zane and Angela continued from the start to the end of the lesson period, Zane in this time learnt something about Angela that nobody else probably knew.

She was dedicated to enjoying her time with Zane and making sure Zane enjoyed it as well as she went on about how her imaginary friend was a lion mixed pony since it was a topic everyone talked about, but Zane thought she was annoyingly aggregatable.

But talking about Imaginary Friends.

Imaginary Friends are somewhat very popular within the school, they all say the imaginary friend you have is what describes your personality well, so students in the school Zane went to went around introducing themselves before telling what imaginary friend they have.

Yeah sure, some friendships get created and become a strong thing from these Imaginary Friend topics, but evil will always remain in positive things and that causes unpleasant bullying in school.

These causes could be from how weird and creepy these students have on their Imaginary Friend, or because their imaginary friend looks weak.

And some people can become extremely fearful based on what they have, these are mostly shadowy figures, shadowy figures are rumoured to suck the living soul out of a person on every opportunity they can get.

Of course, this only goes for Shadowy figures and not glowing figures, glowing figures become one with light and protects the soul from becoming evil, cleaning the cracks now and then.

Unfortunately, Zane Fog's soul was nowhere near clean and bright, it was a dead land where the grass that once grew perished into nothingness, the pond under the promptly decreasing stale tree was drained to its core of water, it instead had black ink gushing out of the cracks.

The landscape had no life in sight, it just looped the same old cracks that were followed by the suffocating air, the air was sharp and deadly, the air became a predator hunting the prey where the prey was the land and it couldn't protect itself from all the spreading misery.

This wasn't caused by Shadowy figures invading their way in.

It was caused by The Past.

A Past that was brutal, disgusting and traumatising to any human that would have experienced it no matter if you're diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder.

Zane Fog was a shadow figure in itself of another shadowy figure that stuck with him from the very beginning of meeting Zane.

Zane was a weakened soul and nothing could heal the harm he felt.
