A white dress hung from my closet as the doorbell rung twice. I shouted from the window that I would be down in a couple of minutes.

The sun shone down from above as we sat in a park and talked about days long gone. That dark night when I met Her. The first day of school when She met Him. The semester’s end when we became friends.

I hung up the white dress before drifting off to sleep, happy with myself. Happy with Him.
