A small room was located in a tall building. The room had a bed, a wardrobe and a desk. On top of the desk was a notebook.

A boy lived in this room. He would leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon. He would then take a book to read or lie down on the bed thinking about something. He would occasionally write something down in the notebook. Days and nights passed as the boy continued his usual lifestyle and the contents of the notebook expanded.

Three years passed and it was time for the exams again. Artix finished his written exams and went to measure his domain. He scored 510 points.

The next day Artix joined his group and they were teleported to the location of the exam.

With no surprises, Artix managed to become the champion. He also got the title for the second round.

Artix managed to easily qualify for the tournament. This time he was truly aiming to enter the top class.

Artix managed to win all his matches and coincidentally, he faced Ronald in the finals. The contestants are assigned a number from 1 to 1000 such that 1 fights 2 and the winner is assigned 1 in the next round and any leftover automatically advances to the next round. The same rules are carried out throughout the rounds.

What are the chances?!

Artix stood on the platform as he kept his eyes closed. In front of him was Ronald. Ronald was ready to pounce at Artix as soon as he hears the whistle.

FWEET!

Immediately, Ronald condensed a 70 metre yellow avatar. The avatar left afterimages as it sped towards Artix. Artix didn't do anything, he didn't even try to defend. He just stood still with his eyes closed.

Ronald slashed towards Artix with the sword he condensed. He froze Artix's surroundings locking him in place.

Just as the sword was about to slash Artix, he opened his eyes. The world went quiet. The sword disintegrated before reaching him. The lock on his surroundings was lifted. Ronald's bracelet lit up and he vanished.

Artix managed to reach the same state he reached three years ago.

In these three years, Artix managed to conclude his third principle.

'Shackles, what are shackles? Is it those bounded to one by morality? Or is it one's own principles? Is it pride? Maybe it's life as a whole. The family you're born in. The responsibilities you carry on your shoulders. The hope that others put on you.

But, are shackles bad? Why would you want to be free? Would you give up your family for your so called freedom?

Would death give you the freedom you want? It seems like it will... if you die you would not need to worry about anything anymore.

Then this is not the freedom I want. These are not the shackles I care about. This is not freedom, it is just cowardice! My principles define who I am. My responsibilities are what I should do.

Then what remains? What shackles the person? Is it the fear of death? You're afraid that whatever you have will be gone once you die? You're afraid that you will leave before you enjoy your life? You're afraid that you would leave regrets behind?

Then I need to accept death. I simply need to do what I want to do. To do what I can do. This way I would not regret it. Death isn't to be afraid of. It will be my companion.'
