Putting two shaky hands to Connor’s face again, Amillia tried to restore him. Nothing was happening though, and she saw that his heart had slowed even more!

Amillia found Cameron's connection, still holding Connor's face, and teleported.

As soon as she could, she yelled out for Cameron and he was on his knees next to Connor in an instant, "What is going on, Amillia!?"

Amillia let go of Connor, feeling a terrible feeling, one close to which Cameron was feeling just before restoring him.

It was feeling that was making her speechless.

"Connor!" She heard Cameron yell.

Andrea had come by then and in a hurry, she picked up his arm and stood there, making Amillia feel something else to seeing Andrea doing nothing else!

Amillia couldn't take it anymore, "Save him please! His heart has just stopped!"

Andrea held his nose and breathed into his body, Cameron did something to his chest, then he looked up at Amillia and said, "Why is he not breathing, Amillia?"

She found that she was rocking herself and stopped, "I saw he was….I did…He was weakening, and I restored him, he ended up coming to my room, he was there, I was touching him and then he fell."

Not even realizing that she had not even stated things as she usually did, and breathing heavily with overwhelming feelings, Amillia could only watch with scared eyes upon the lifeless body of Connor.

Watching them continue what they were doing, Amillia saw an aura go around him again, "He's coming back, He's coming back!"

Closing her eyes, Amillia waited, she heard Connor’s heart, his pulse, still weak but they were there. She waited eagerly for him to think something, anything!

Opening her eyes, she saw them blurring, and Amillia put her legs in front of her, cuddled them and started rocking again.

Connor started to cough, he moved slightly, and it made her laugh, feeling like she had just lost a great weight upon her body. Amillia went closer to him, never wanting to touch something so bad in her existence. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it."

Finally, she heard him think that he heard her and told her not to worry, that only the best of girls made him faint!

Amillia was so happy that she laughed, looking at Cameron and Andrea. Cameron was looking back at her and he told her that she was crying.

Crying?

Amillia touched her cheek and saw that it was so. She wasn't totally sure of the emotion behind it, but it didn't matter, Connor was ok and that seemed to be really important for some reason.

"I think she has the touch of death Cameron." Connor said groggily, rolling over to his side.

Cameron laughed, "You sad, sad man."

Andrea stood up, sat on the chair closest to Amillia and looked at Connor. If things weren’t so hectic at the moment, Andrea would want to jump into those arms of her sisters but…She should make sure that Connor is alright first. Luckily, she had learned CPR from working in the hospital, so that she was able to help Connor at this moment. Andrea had never thought that CPR would ever be needed, and she had only been one of the ones picked to have done it for free in the first place! Even though she was having troubles with her boss at the moment, Andrea was suddenly very grateful towards her!

Amillia was certain that Andrea could see her, but why could she see her now, and not before? Something was making her feel different, her head was starting to hurt intolerably and Amillia tried to block it away.

Andrea said, "Connor, we have been looking for you for days, where have you been? Cameron even had to act like you to your family."

Connor tried to sit up, with that not working, he simply said, "What do you mean days, as far as I'm aware It's still the day I saw you guys."

Connor moaned, thinking that he wasn't going to do what happened before for a little while, making Amillia smile. She was just so glad he was living again.

Cameron looked from Andrea to Connor, "She is right Connor. You left our place and we have not seen you since, that was three days ago."

Connor looked at Amillia, she heard him think along the lines of something about days on her planet and Amillia laughed at his knowledge, and said, "Connor is right, we may go around our sun in a lot less years or more, depending on this one."

Connor had another quick thought of the time that it would take to teleport from one place to another, that it may seem instant but might actually take more time than they originally thought. Then, he thought that perhaps a black hole was around her planet…But then he told himself to stop thinking because it hurt too much.

Cameron sighed, "It doesn't matter, we are just glad that your back. He has some catching up to do."

Amillia heard the word cancer from Cameron’s thoughts and shot her head up towards Cameron. He was looking at her, telling her that he has about two months left to live on this planet.

Amillia looked at Andrea, seeing her silent, still not looking at either of them. Cameron told her that Andrea knows, that she has taken it hard.

Taken what hard? What is this cancer to be so…Like this?

Again, Amillia didn’t understand why humans always acted so…Emotional!

Connor was silent and Amillia looked down to see him sleeping and it didn't take long for pictures of her to come into his head and she seemed glad to that knowledge but did not understand why.

Amillia stood up, as did Cameron, and he looked at Andrea and put a hand out to her. Amillia watched her take his hand and followed him to a place Amillia had been before, the room she left, the room that lead her to touch Connor the way she had. The room that she had felt like it had a superior presence in it…That seemed to no longer be here now…

When Andrea sat down, Cameron knelt in front of her and told her to stay here and that he was just going to make things more comfortable for Connor.

Andrea nodded, only making Amillia more confused and want to question what was going on.

Amillia watched closely as Cameron tried to wake Connor and half helped him onto the couch.

Connor turned and fell right back asleep, as Amillia stood by, ready to watch over him a bit longer, but Cameron said, "Do you realize that you are now human?"

Looking down at herself, she felt no different. She felt…

Blinking, Amillia felt her head ache, having stopped it previously, and tried her hardest to prevent it from getting any worse. Perhaps, she does feel a little different after all…

"Have your memories returned?" He asked her.

Shaking her head, she wondered if that was what she was trying to block away and why her head hurt so much.

Cameron sighed, "Amillia, I need your help. Can you restore me again?"

Amillia touched him and felt her energy flow into him.

Cameron asked her without voice if she could see anything that would become dangerous for him to be here.

Strangely, this was something that made Amillia feel better, as it was something she was used to doing now. All the new things that were happening to her was really affecting her thoughts and actions!

Amillia easily went to search Cameron’s body and found something there that may stop his existence here on this planet and Amillia, acting on impulse, touched him and teleported back to her room.

Cameron sat down in a sigh, and said, "That is not what I asked you to do Amillia, I just wanted to know if you could get rid of it."

Amillia looked again, and said, "I did, it’s gone."

Cameron looked at her and stood up, he looked around the room thinking of Andrea. She knew that he didn't find her when he looked at her. "…I don't know how to return to her."

Amillia had watched Cameron disappear, to teleport to his room, and still had not seen him for two callings later. Amillia didn't see much of Connor either, he had not shown up in her room for quite a while, for his earth days it would be to Amillia's best guess of three, maybe four days…Perhaps more…

She wasn’t too sure on how days went here or there, they never cared for time here and it was something now that she wished she had asked Cameron before he had left.

Amillia was trying to accept the fact that things had definitely changed and that she was one to ask questions, one in which was, why does she want to see Connor so much?

There was a job she did have to do though, and she's given enough time to Cameron to accept change to go to him and see that he gets his report to the Azulious…The leaders of all the spirits…

Finding Cameron's connection, Amillia teleported and found herself in the middle of his report. She had not actually been in contact with them, but she had knowledge of them since before she could remember and for some reason, she knew it was a long time.

Cameron was silent as he recalled his existence to the Azulious, as they were reading his mind. Amillia knew that the Azulious were the first of the ‘spirit’ kind and also knew that they have done more than any other spirit. The Azulious followed their instincts more then any other and knew to help the transpers, they decided on where the spirits were to help, when one transitioned from being a transper, and they were also the ones that filled in their knowledge in books. It was known to all that they were the ones that set the rules for the spirits, making the last judgement upon putting a spirit back into turmoil to be transitioned once again.

Amillia still did not know where the pretty lights come from and the able use of teleportation, as that was something there already before the Azulious…Yet, how did she know that?

With her thinking like this, voices told her to be silent, so her thinking seized.

She heard Cameron speak, "We do not think, it’s not the spiritual way…We are to be bound by instincts, to be the guardians of the transpers…And not ask questions."

Amillia knew it was bad if he had to say those words. She remembered saying them not to long ago, when she had brought Connor to her room.

All of a sudden, her name was called…

Standing up next to Cameron, she did as she was told. She also gave her existence knowledge to them. This time it was Amillia's turn, "We do not think, it’s not the spiritual way…We are to be bound by instincts, to be the guardians of the transpers…And not ask questions."

Amillia was told that it was not to happen again, that they both were to be watched and if they were to do anything nonspiritual, they were to be placed with the transpers to be transitioned once again, which would mean that both her and Cameron would not be able to communicate to anyone…Starting all over again if they were to become a spirit once more...

After being told this, they were free to go but Cameron did not even look at her as he teleported away, as did she…

***

Being watched made Amillia try hard to go back to normal, which only was of callings and then watching the pretties. Whenever she thought about Cameron and wanted to see how he was coping, she was stopped. One time she was stopped by those watching her, the other times she stopped her thoughts herself, feeling like she should not do it. She felt that the situation was not good and that going back to being a transper was far from what she wanted, so…For the time being, she had to be good.

But as much as being a ‘spirit’ was a ‘habit’ and was doing something by instincts, it was no longer a ‘right’ feeling to Amillia.

She didn’t understand, but it just felt like she was now empty…
