Silence…
It was quiet…
Something… No someone, was dragging them…
They could hear a huge door open, as they all got dragged in the room…
There followed up another long silence… Until suddenly the mask off his head got pulled out…
Takumi's eyes widened up. He noticed this huge man behind a desk. Next to him were the others…
But no Anne and Ryan…
"So… You six have finally arrived?" The man said, walking out of the shadows.
Takumi instantly recognized the man, it was someone he had seen before… But he couldn't not remember. Suddenly his eyes widened up.
What...
What is he doing here?...
Why was he here again?...
He looked up to the man.
"W- Who are you?" Takumi asked in confusion.
"Me? I am none of your business..." Akurai replied.
"W- Why are we here?" Kuruka asked.
Takumi turned to the others, they were in complete fear.
"Why? I think you all already know why..." Akurai said, grinning.
"...You all owe me 10 Million Yen, remember?" Akurai followed up, looking at Takumi.
Takumi noticed the sharp-like teeth on him too. Akurai slowly walked up to Takumi.
"That's right… 10 Million Yen, or else..." Akurai followed up, grinning.
"W- Where are we?" Nokado asked.
Akurai turned to Nokado.
"Somewhere in Sendai..." Akurai said.
Nokado's eyes widened up.
"T- That is over 300 Kilometers away from us!" Rikishi shouted out of the blue.
"W- What?" Tado mumbled, scared.
"The kid is correct… It is 340 to be precise." Akurai answered.
"That proves how long you might have been unconscious… And how serious we are about this." Akurai explained.
"Because, you see… Now you will never find out if Anne and Ryan really died." Akurai said, shrugging.
Takumi's eyes widened up, as he remembered the surrounding fire…
Akurai started to laugh.
"Whether you work because you don't want to die… Or if you work to find out about the truth… Maybe you even want to earn our trust..." Akurai explained.
"By getting the 10 Million in the next 12 Months, we will let you all free..." Akurai continued.
"...Unless you're still not ready to work-" "We are!" Takumi interrupted Akurai.
"Please… Leave us alone… We will get your money, I promise." Takumi mumbled.
"Good your pumped up for your new job… Takumi, Ishido." Akurai said, grinning.
"Get these guys out of here!" Akurai shouted.
Suddenly their heads got covered with black bags, making it impossible to see through.
Takumi could hear doors open. The sounds followed up with a car door opening, and the engine start of the car. After a while of driving, they stopped.

A lot of time passed, as Takumi later on noticed he was already uncuffed.
"G- Guys?" Takumi asked.
"Yeah?" Nokado voice could be heard replying.
"I am uncuffed, I just realized." Takumi continued, taking the bag off his head.
"R- Really?" Kuruka's voice could be heard.
Takumi was in complete shock, they were all in what looked like a 'Range-Rover'
"Woah..." Takumi mumbled.
"What is it? Takumi?" Ukato asked.
"Y- Yeah, sorry, I am uncuffing you all now." Takumi said, as he noticed a piece of paper with two keys on it.
He uncuffed everyone, they took their bags off their head. Takumi realized two people weren't here, they were Tado and Rikishi.
"Hey… Where are the twins?" Takumi asked.
They looked around.
"We all got in the same car, right?" Ukato asked.
"Yeah, I think so." Takumi replied.
"Then they must be here." Ukato answered.
A huge bonk on the back of the car could be heard. The guys looked at each other.
"They must be in the back..." Kuruka said.
They all got out of the car and went to the back. Nokado slowly opened it, only notice the two in the back.
"W- Who's there?!" Rikishi shouted in fear.
"Don't worry, it's us." Kuruka replied.
"Oh… Thank god." Rikishi followed up, letting out a sigh.
They uncuffed the two too.
The brothers looked confused, as they noticed the rest were uncuffed too.
"What happened?" Rikishi asked.
"We don't know, the first thing we realized was that they left two keys and a note here." Takumi explained, showing the piece of paper and two keys.
Takumi started to read out loud:
"Welcome, new ones, to your hideout and your first car. Don't worry, the car and the apartment won't cost you anything, because either way we'll end up getting 10 Million Yen from you guys..." Takumi said, letting out a sigh.
He continued:
"Once you head inside your hideout there will be multiple monitors with different kind of screens, one will show you the world map, but not only that. It'll show exactly every detail of the entire map..."
"That means we will have to check the apartment out." Ukato said.
"Thanks for the obvious, dumbass." Nokado mumbled.
"You said something, big nose?" Ukato replied, looking at him.
"Guys, not now." Kuruka said, standing in between them.
Takumi continued reading:
"...There will be one monitor in the center that will show you our special website for 'Customers', if you get what I mean. Plus there will be any equipment you need for these 'jobs' you get..."

"Customers?" Kuruka asked.
"He probably means that there will be some website which will give us missions, but we'll see when we get inside." Ukato explained.
Takumi followed up:
"...These 'jobs' you will get from our 'Customers' will be anything, it depends on you if you want to accept or decline. But you will need all the jobs possible, just saying. So head out to your apartment and good luck with your missions, Greetings, Kirakuma."
Takumi finished up reading the piece of paper.
Takumi looked at both keys in his hand, one had the numbers '001' on them…
''So… This is how my future is supposed to be, huh?'' Takumi thought by himself.
Rikishi laid his hand on Takumi's shoulder.
"Oi, let's not waste our time and get inside there. We have money to earn." Rikishi said, smirking.
"Oh… You're right." Takumi replied, as they all walked to the apartment.
Takumi realized the apartment looked absolutely abandoned, it felt like the apartment was left alone ages ago.
They all slowly walked with Takumi in the lead. They kept walking until they were at the front door. Takumi reached out his hand and slowly opened the door. The next thing they saw was unimaginable.
The apartment looked really clean on the inside. The entire first floor looked really good, and every door had a description in them. The first closest door to them was the 'mission room number 001'.
"This must be where we need to be." Takumi said, as he grabbed the key.
He slowly pushed the door open. Their eyes suddenly widened up, as the room was filled with luxury items. There was even one table with wheels filled with booze, alcohol and cigarettes.
"W-...What is this?" Takumi asked, in shock.
"I don't know, but I don't care either!" Nokado said, as he jumped onto the cough, laying down.
"Oi oi! Don't be so reckless, this could be a trap." Ukato quickly replied, looking at the moveable table and the other luxury they got.
The door behind them suddenly opened up, they all quickly turned.
Their eyes widened up, as Kirakuma arrived, with four girls in maid clothing.
"Welcome to the high class, boys." Kirakuma said, laughing.
"What do you want?" Takumi replied, cold.
"Me? I was just about to give you your first two missions, but if you don't want me her-"
"No, Wait!" Kuruka interrupted Kirakuma.
Kirakuma grinned, as his eyes glew in pure anger.
"Sure… For this once I'll ignore that, delusional kid." Kirakuma mumbled, as the corners of his eyes crinkled.
Takumi's eyes filled with rage too, but he ignored him.
"So, first things first." Kirakuma said, as he grabbed a remote control out of his pocket.
He pressed on a red button and the side of the wall spinned horizontal, there was a small amount of equipment there, which included four pistols, two sub-machine guns, two bullet proof vests, plus smoke- and normal hand grenades.
Kirakuma then grabbed his second remote control, he aimed it on the monitors, they all turned on. It showed the exact things the piece of paper said to them.
"You guys probably have red the pieces of paper, right?" Kirakuma asked.
"Yeah, we have." Rikishi replied.
"Good, then you know exactly what is happening." Kirakuma said, walking to the table.
Kirakuma grabbed one entire glass bottle of alcohol and started to take huge sips of it.
"~Ahh… Feels good." Kirakuma said, wiping the dripping alcohol on his mouth.
Kirakuma looked at Tado, as he showed him the bottle of alcohol.
"Want some?" Kirakuma asked.
"Oh- Uhhh..." Tado said, not knowing what to say.
"We don't drink, nor do we smoke." Takumi said, looking at him.
Kirakuma turned to Takumi, as he bursted with laughter.
"Are you kidding me?" Kirakuma said.
"You have all this tobacco and all this alcohol, yet you say something so childish." Kirakuma said, grinning.
The place turned silent, as Kirakuma let out a sigh.
"But, either way, the table is staying here." Kirakuma followed up, walking back to the door.
The maids followed Kirakuma.
"I'll send those two missions to you fromout your monitor." Kirakuma said.
Kirakuma opened the door, as the maids walked out of the room into the hallway. Kirakuma wanted to walk out of the door, but he froze.
"...Takumi." Kirakuma mumbled.
Takumi turned his face to him.
"Yes?" Takumi asked, in a very frustrated voice.
Kirakuma turned to him, as his eyes lightened up-
Kirakuma showed a big smile, following up with:
"Don't exhaust yourself… Takumi-San."
Takumi's entire face turned red, as his eyes widened up.
"Y- Yeah, sure." Takumi replied, shy.
Kirakuma walked out of the room, and closed the door…
''Don't die on me… Brother...''

The Essence of Cultivation
After experiencing five years of an adventurer's life, Arcanist Sylar Wershin now spends his days catching up on developments in Essence Studies and teasing apart the functions of arcane trinkets and artifacts discovered by him and his companions throughout their time travelling the realms of Resham. An unexpected accident during the study of his latest subject of intrigue, however, displaces him across the Planes beyond what any known spell is capable of achieving. Now finding himself lost in a realm rich in previously-limited Transcendental Essences, however, does he truly even want to return back to his old world? If nothing else, plagiarising - ahem, learning new spell structures by observing the local mages should prove entertaining. Sure, there were new dangers in this foreign world, but they wouldn't be anything a fancy bit of spellwork couldn't solve. Though, he would appreciate it greatly if someone could explain to him just what this 'cultivation' business was, why the local Mages were all muscle-brained freaks obsessed with immortality, and why they all seemed to lack any appreciation for the finer details of Essence manipulation. That would be nice.
