《Bad Habits {V2 Out now!}》Volume 1: Chapter 9: Way Past Insanity...

Ryan walked into the dining hall, only to notice Anne cleaning the dishes. It was almost evening and the boys hadn't come out of their room yet.
"Where is Takumi and the others?" Ryan asked.
"Still in their room, they were probably tired." Anne replied.
Ryan let out a sigh, as he leaned onto the counter. He looked at the dining hall, he could still remember the first time Takumi ate with them and the others. They all had different thoughts, personalities, goals in life.
They even hated each other, yet they ended up like blood-related brothers. Ryan could see it, a bright future for them. Who knows? Maybe they'll start their own company?
Anne's eyes widened up, as multiple vans parked on the front gate of the Mansion. Anne dropped a mug, as the glass splattered everywhere. Ryan quickly turned, as his eyes widened up too.
"T- They're here!" Anne screamed.
Ryan quickly ran upstairs, slamming their door open. He realized everyone was already dressed up and ready to go.
"Looks like they arrived." Ukato said, pulling his glove tight.
They all had their old uniforms on, combined with their new clothing. They looked really cool, Ryan thought.
"Let's go, boys." Takumi said, as they all sprinted downstairs.
Takumi leaded them to the door, as he suddenly stopped.
"Guys, listen up… If things go downhill..." Takumi explained.
"...Split up, and get Anne and Ryan out of here in time." Takumi followed up.
The others nodded.
"Yosh! Let's kick some ass!" Nokado said, cracking his knuckles.
Takumi smirked, as he opened the door. The first thing he noticed was Kirakuma, who was standing in front of the gate with a group of what looked like subordinates from the mafia. The subordinates walked to the gate and opened it. Takumi and Kirakuma looked each other deep in the eye. Both their eyes were lightening up with this dead-like aura.
"Takumi!" Kirakuma shouted.
"I have arrived, for our promise!" Kirakuma followed up.
"...To hell with your promise!" Takumi replied.
The wind blasted through the front yard. Kirakuma grinned. Takumi noticed his teeth, as his eyes widened up.
"Got it… We'll see about that!" Kirakuma shouted.

"Get them all, dead or alive won't matter!" Kirakuma followed up.
The subordinates charged. Takumi and the others did the same.
Takumi's eyes widened up in anger, as he slided one of the subordinates down. He quickly stood up only to punch another one to the ground. The others started to fight too. Ryan and Anne were in complete shock.
Ukato got hit on his right stomach by a kick, his eyes widened up, but he pushed through the pain and punched the subordinate down.
Kuruka punched someone, but he got blocked. The subordinate followed up with a knee on Kuruka's head, but he kept his pose and tackled the subordinate.
Nokado got pushed to the ground, as the subordinate charged him. Nokado rolled away and kicked his leg, making him fall down.
Rikishi got punched too, as blood dripped out of his mouth. He grinned, casually walking up to the man and uppercutting him.
Tado got grabbed by the neck and pulled up, but he kicked the man right between his legs, making him let go.
After a while the subordinates were down, Takumi and the others had bruises and blood wounds on their face, but they defeated the subordinates. Takumi looked at Kirakuma.
"Looks like your subordinates were softer than we expected." Takumi said, walking up to him.
They started to walk in circles. Takumi grabbed a brass knuckle and placed it on his right arm.
"I guess so..." Kirakuma said.
"Let's see if you will be able to stand up when were done with you..." Takumi mumbled.
Takumi charged Kirakuma, but Kirakuma punched him away in an instant.
"Idiot… Don't underestimate me!" Kirakuma shouted.
"Fine… I won't." Takumi said, as he slowly pulled out a knife.
The others eyes widened up, the same goes for Anne and Ryan.
"I'll kill you right here, right now!" Takumi shouted.
"Try me..." Kirakuma mumbled, grinning.
Takumi charged Kirakuma, as he swung the knife. Kirakuma opened his mouth. Takumi's eyes widened up, as blood splattered onto the knife and onto Takumi's hand.
When Takumi turned, his eyes widened up more. Kirakuma caught his hand and the knife with his mouth, he had vampire-like teeth. One of his teeth was going in Takumi's hand.

"W- What?" Takumi mumbled.
"Oh… Looks like I missed." Kirakuma said, pulling the knife out of his hand with his mouth.
Takumi's hand was bleeding. Takumi quickly looked up to Kirakuma.
"Why is your teeth… like that?" Takumi asked confused.
"It's a 'contract'... But you wont understand even if I told you." Kirakuma said.
Takumi clinged his teeth together, he was frustrated. The others walked up to him.
"Looks like you will be needing backup, right?" Ukato said, laying his hand on Takumi's shoulder.
Takumi smirked.
"You're right, let's beat this guy and it'll all be done." Kuruka said, smiling.
Kirakuma started to laugh. The others looked at him.
"Come get me… You won't lay a punch on me!" Kirakuma said, as his eyes widened up.
Takumi grinned.
"We'll see about that!" Takumi shouted, as they all charged Kirakuma.
Kirakuma blocked all their punches, but he was being held back. Kirakuma started to get cornered.
"Okay guys, now!" Takumi shouted, as Tado jumped from his left.
"You better!!" Tado shouted, punching him on his chest.
Takumi's eyes widened up, as he leaned down.
"...Leave!" Kuruka shouted, uppercutting Kirakuma.
"...This place!" Ukato shouted, spinkicked Kirakuma on his face.
"...Before you!!!" Rikishi shouted, as he kicked the back of his legs, making him kneel down. Takumi charged Kirakuma, who was kneeling down. Kirakuma quickly reached for the pocket in his jacket.
"DIE!!-" "STOP!" Takumi shouted, as Kirakuma interrupted him.
Takumi's eyes widened up. A pistol was aimed on his face. Takumi stopped his fist right in front of Kirakuma's face.
"Nobody move!" Kirakuma shouted, as he slowly stood up.
Kirakuma slowly walked to the front door of the mansion while still aiming at them.
"You… Really thought you could beat us this easy?" Kirakuma said, slowly pulling out a walkie talkie.
"Check, Mate." Kirakuma mumbled, grinning.
The radio replied with: "Checkmate, confirmed."
The mansion door got slammed open-
There were subordinates with pistols holding Anne and Ryan hostage.
Everyone's eyes widened up.
"You really thought we were this stupid?" Kirakuma said, waving his weapon around.
"W- What do you think your doing?" Takumi mumbled.
"What I think… Is nothing… " Kirakuma replied.
"... I have nothing to think about, I get one objective, and I full fill it, no matter what." Kirakuma said.
"Y- You're insane, you can't do this-" While Nokado was talking, Kirakuma punched him with the weapon. Nokado's eyes widened up, as he fell on the ground.
"Nokado!" "Are you okay!" The others were replying.
"Y- Yes..." Nokado replied.
"Sooo… Takumi." Kirakuma said, looking him in his eyes.
"About that 10 Million Yen-" "Fine!" Takumi interrupted him.
Kirakuma showed an insane-like confused expression.
"Ohh? So now you wanna pay all of a sudden?" Kirakuma said.
"Y- Yes, I'll pay! Leave Anne and Ryan out of this!" Takumi shouted in fear.
"Okay! Promise is made, now we're bringing you six to Akurai." Kirakuma said.
"Ryan and Anne, then? What will happen to them?" Ukato asked.
"Oh, they'll be fine on their own… Kind of." Kirakuma said, as he waved his hand.
The subordinates waved back, as they closed the mansion door.
"What are they doing?" Rikishi asked.
"They're finishing the job." Kirakuma said.
After a minute, the subordinates walked out of the mansion. The subordinates walked up to the six and handcuffed them. The subordinates were about to walk, but suddenly Kirakuma stopped them.
"Wait up… Lemme say my goodbye." Kirakuma said, as walked up to the mansion door, he slowly opened it up.
The six were in total shock, Ryan and Anne were still handcuffed, and there was liquid on the entire floor. Ukato's eyes widened up even more.
"Don't tell me he-..." Ukato mumbled.
Kirakuma grabbed a lighter.
"Sa-yo-na-ra." Kirakuma said, dropping the lighter in the mansion.
The next thing Takumi saw was-
Bursts of fire…
The mansion was burning…
With Ryan and Anne inside them…
Kirakuma slowly turned, with this evil grin on his face.
"YOU- !!" Just as Takumi was shouting, something heavy hit his head, knocking him out…

A quest that just might end up changing the fate of the entire world. ————————————————————————————————————- What do readers say about it? ————————————————————————————————————- "Aethernea is my absolute favorite read on wattpad, I love it as much as I love Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad

The Ultimate Supporter
Mona stood there, her body has stopped shaking as she stared at Sarah with no expression. “... do I have to set a goal?” Mona asked quietly. “Yes, if you do not then you will not be allowed to play Road Builder.” “...why? Why do we have to set a goal?” “This game is about inspiring people to work hard towards something that they wish to achieve. Don’t you have something you wish to achieve too ma’am?” “... I… do.” “What is your goal then ma’am?” “My goal… my goal is to become the ultimate supporter.” Feelings rushed back into Mona’s eyes as she clenched both her fists hard. “I want to help others succeed. I don’t need to be the main character. I want other people to be the main character.” Mona yelled as tears began to stream down her face. “I just… I just want to feel needed again.” Mona sniffled. Sarah looked at her with a soft expression on her face. “Is ‘I want to become the ultimate supporter’ your final choice?” Sarah asked. Mona bit on her lip as tears continued to stream down her face. She slowly nodded her head. “Alright then… this goal has been registered onto your avatar. You will soon spawn into a town and began your journey.” Sarah smiled, her eyes illuminating warmth to Mona. Mona nodded her head understanding as she wiped away the tears. A blue circle appeared around her as numbers counting down from ten appeared in front of her. 10… 9… 8… “By the way ma’am.” Sarah said. 7… 6… “Yes?” 5… 4… “I am sure you will achieve that goal, and to guarantee that, I give you my blessings.” 3… “What?” 2… “Enjoy your time in Road Builder.” 1… ********* Please point out if you notice any mistakes so that I can fix it. Also, because I re-edit this a lot so the chapters are going to come out very slowly(and because the blue tables take a while to do). Any comments and reviews are welcomed and are appreciated! Thanks for reading!
