Jeanie loudly sighed, annoyed, but she realized that being so was pointless.
" It's okay, just... please stop crying" she pleaded while helping him off the cold, hard ground. She wiped the tears from his face, and wrapped the blanket she was wearing around him.
Jeanie ( Jenevieve, 15 years old, Chestnut Brown hair, 6ft 5in,Half-Elf, Feral Tribesmen) threw all of the soaked wood in the now empty bucket, and grabbed a few pieces of fresh wood, and put in the makeshift fire pit( metal barrel in the ground) and attempted to light it. After striking two pieces of flint for what seemed like forever ( 12.4 minutes) the fire took and started enveloping the logs and tiny twigs. She picked up the bucket full of wet wood and tossed it out of the broken door way, and landing with a squish. What followed could only be described as an orchestra of grinding, smashing, snapping sound as the ground devoured the logs with its giant maw of bone and enamel.
Having watched said occurence happen for the millionth (143rd), Jeanie still felt uneasy about it. It was literally the earth eating something Jeanie COULD use but wasn't at the moment. In layman's terms... the earth was trying as hard as it could to fuck Jeanie over, to the best of its ability.
