《Celestial Beings: Evolution》Stage 1: Fight Fight! II (Chapter 5)

Eloxus did what he planned. He charged the newborn fighting Aly, and punched him in the face. The impact wasn't as good as he thought it would've been, but it hit - that's all that mattered. Aly quickly saw this opportunity and used both her fists to jab him in the sides. He fell. He wasn't dead, but he was near. Again, although Eloxus was beyond tired, he needed this newborn to die. A fist landed. At this point the Io was on floor pretty much unconscious, but not dead. Aly hit him twice again, however she was hit for the first time, completely unexpected.
Aly was shoved across the floor. She didn't get up. She couldn't. She was on Death's Door.
[Io has been defeated!]

[Increase in Experience due to killing someone twice your Level!]
[Eloxus] is now Level Five!
[Eloxus] is now Level Six!
[Eloxus] is now Level Seven!
[Aly] is now Level Four!
[Aly] is now Level Five!
[Aly] is now Level Six!
Eloxus laughed to himself after looking at the Notifactions come through. He looked over to Aly, confused. She looked dead, yet she she hadn't shattered. He could only guess that she isn't dead.
However, this predicament was garbage - utter dogshit.
They had three options.
Run and get shot by Fire magic.
Fight 1 on 1 although Eloxus has exerted most of his energy.
Or die.
No matter what he did, there was going to be repercussions.
What do I do, it had been 20 seconds since Io died, and for some reason, his teammate didn't come forward, he also didn't shoot magic either which was beyond confusing.
Eloxus took this unexpected chance.

Still no Magic? What in the actual fuck? This is beyond stupid, I've done all this work for nothing. Wait a minute, where has that Green guy gone? He hasn't attacked me for some odd reason.
Eloxus stared at him, however, he didn't stare back, actually, he wasn't even looking into Eloxus's direction at all, if anything, he was looking the same way Eloxus was. Then a pair of eyes stared back.
Eloxus used his brain and ran for Aly. He was still tired as shit, but he needed Aly, without Aly he was practically nothing. He was unable to do anything on his own. He needed allies.
He grabbed onto Aly and swang her on his shoulder. She was light, almost too light. It didn't matter to him, instead it benefitted him in this instance.
He ran and ran, he wasn't even being chased. The terrain never changed. He was still in the disgustingly dry biome with the odd tree every now and then.
poof
He collapsed, and Aly went rolling off him.
[Leo has been defeated!]

[Aurora is no longer interested]
[Calypso is beyond interested and wishes that you will keep raising both Wisdom and Agility].
[Calypso sends words of encouragment: Stay alive until your evolution, I'll be waiting].
I feel a tad stronger, and faster. It feels like I'll be able to run a marathon in a few minutes (hyperbole). It seems stat points are very important. Again, Wisdom has done literally nothing for me, yet a Celestial being wants me to upgrade it? I'm assuming it's linked to magic, although I haven't gotten a skill, like at all. She also wants me to upgrade it along side Agility? That's so strange, what a weird combination, I wonder what Eluxo upgrades, maybe he's an all rounder since it looks like he's gotten a tad bigger. Do you think that's why she's contacted me? Agility + Wisdom, I can't imagine many people upgrading those stats since they don't really go hand in hand. Honestly, Wisdoms quite an awkward thing to upgrade since it's doing literally nothing.
Is she colour blind? Is she aware of my colour? I don't understand. Am I really going to have a chance to be an Instrument? If so, how? I didn't really do much, I just struggled against someone and got knocked out in one hit, well, atleast I think I did?
How am I alive?
I got up and saw Eluxo, still laying down opposite me. He must've been the reason why I'm alive right? Also who took out the those two? They had fire magic and from my memory they didn't use it once. I have so many questions, yet I can't get them answered since I can't even speak!
I wonder what my Dad's doing, we were teleported together yet we were seperated from the get go, when the beautiful Princess was explaining our rules, my Dad was nowhere to be seen. I wonder if he's alive. I can only hope.
I woke up. We're alive. We made it. As I looked at the Notifications it seemed that the last newborn had died, which I'm glad since I got more Experiene. I would've felt bad, however they attacked us indiscriminately, so we had no choice. I didn't level up, although it feels like I'm on the cusp of levelling up, which is great. Also, the Levelling System is weird. It feels like I'm Levelling up very slowly in comparison to Aly, or maybe I'm imagining it. Most likely.
I looked at Aly, Aly looked at me. We both smiled. It's not like we could say anything, so we just walked. Unfortunately, I didn't realise by the time we got back there that we walked right back where we were. Right back where the crime scene happened. However, I still don't feel bad, I wouldn't be surprised that in their evolution they would've become Devils.
I couldn't even tell Aly that there was a creature here. So I nudged her to walk left instead of going that way, it may have been flat plain (although it's still the red sand to begin with) with a few small hills here and there, but in the distance, there were mountains. So I thought it would've been smarter to go around the mountains.

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
