A fiery light of user energy exploded from Elder Tobi's body the moment, he activated; this life taking technique.

"The 《Last Light of Purgatory》 is a Forbidden Art in the 《Annals of Flame Purgatory》 of the Flame domain. It uses all the user energy within the Liaison core of an individual, and channels all that energy into the User network at once. The user gets to choose any technique, he or she wants to use with the energy. It doesn't matter the level of the technique, so long as it is within that person's arsenal, then it is usable, only once and after that; the user dies. It truly is the last light of the person's life." Ejiro said looking at the dazzling light in the sky, not wanting to miss any of it.

Once the light appeared, every movement stopped. Not even the four experts could move from their place. Including the Star meteorites, it couldn't move an inch, only nigo could.

Elder Tobi stretched his arms to the meteorites. One; to the meteorite before him, and the other; to the one behind him.

He used his fingers, making a hand sign or imprint, with powerful energy radiating from it. The silhouette of the flame gate appeared behind him. And space curved the moment it materialised.

The four experts who were close to him, were all sweating profusely. But they couldn't be bothered by that, everyone looked on.

Elder Tobi made a hand imprint. He looked back once more....... and said with a voice that rumbled like thunder.

"LIVE ON!"

BOOM!!!

The imprint flew from his arm and went straight for the two meteorites. Though he wanted to eliminate both Star meteorites, he still had to consider the kids behind him.

At full power, with the strength of Elder Tobi's Liaison core: He could level hundreds of thousands of mountains, using his most basic techniques. But how could he use them when the school was right behind him? (obvious nerf)

All he did was; use a simple gesture hand sign, to focus all his energy at the Star meteorites

BOOM!!!!!

The sound shook the whole continent. And everyone, amidst the current catastrophe; paused for a moment, to look towards the direction of the United Royal Institute.

The energy wave was so tremendous, that even the four experts were vibrating on impact.

"Section Elder!" The kids screamed at the top of their voices, alongside the explosion

CRASH!! !

The formation had cracks, like webs all over it. It began to collapse bit by bit, under the marvellous might of the Last Light Of Purgatory from the Section Elder.

Pfffffffffft!

Blood sprayed from the mouths of the the four United allied forces experts, due to backlash from the destruction of the formation. Space shuddered. And the sky lost it's luster before this fiery light. It was like a flaming apocalypse had befallen humanity.

As the closest to the explosion, the four experts were sent flying in different directions.

After some seconds, the light vanished. Living behind; a hole of thousands of kilometres deep in the ground. The body of the section elder: no where to be seen.

Whoosh!!

Suddenly, a blue light appeared at the location of the Four Way Scarlet Formation.

The kids looked up and their pupils shrank. It is because they couldn't believe their eyes.

One of the Star Meteorites was falling towards them.

Though the star meteorite has reduced in speed, it is still enough to wreck havoc which the kids couldn't handle, once it lands.

Elder Tobi had thought that, the range of power he released would be enough to atomize the Star meteorites. But he only destroyed one and left half of the other.

The power being released from the Star meteorite was about twenty percent it's full power. The last bits of the scarlet formation is what is holding it in place. And from the looks of it, it would fully collapse anytime soon.

The four experts had been knocked far away, and even suffered grievous injuries, so they couldn't notice what was happening.

At a closer look, the star meteorite has two colours. One: is the light blue cleansing flames and the other; azure fiery flames that threatened to destroy the world.

Crash!!

More of the scarlet formation fell under the pressure of the star meteorite.

"What do we do?" Nigo said in a weak voice

"...." Ejiro, who was at his side didn't have anything to say. How could he think of something that could stop a star meteorite, with twenty percent power of the S - tier Prime User domain? He may be a genius but that was impossible!

Nigo turned to Ejiro and tried pulling him with all his might. Due to the fact, that the pressure from the star meteorite was not affecting him, he could run away. But....... how could he abandon his friend?

Clash!

Nigo clenched his teeth as he tried to pull Ejiro but he was a cripple, thus, how could he oppose the pressure of twenty percent the power of the star meteorite.

"It's no use! Hurry and run away with zara!" Ejiro said as he tried to move but his movement were slow and sluggish. He could only move for five inches when he tried, and the star meteorite will soon fall on their heads.

Cracks began appearing on Zara's barrier due to pressure. She gritted her teeth and infused all her user energy into repairing and strengthening the barrier.

Ejiro looked at her and then looked at nigo. He looked at the star meteorite about to escape from the formation holding it in place.

Bang!!

He released all his energy and sent nigo flying towards zara's barrier.

Pfffffffffft!

Blood oozed out of nigo's body as he was caught off guard. He couldn't resist such power in the first place, so how could he resist it now?

BOOM!!

Ejiro jumped with all his user energy as nigo was still in mid air. He had calculated the trajectory of the star meteorite, and it was heading to the place himself and Nigo stood, which was why he had pushed nigo with all he got.

He also planned to use zara's shield to protect the both of them. Even if the explosion were to reach zara hundred metres away; they should be capable of surviving, even with injuries.

That was the best and worse possible outcome. The ground around the school compound was covered in black spirit stones, which had one thousand times the durability of normal rocks and asphalt.

With such defensive power, the range of explosion would be reduced to one thousandth it's normal range. And zara was about a hundred metres away, and the star meteorite has only twenty percent it's power! Therefore, even though they might suffer serious injuries, it was indeed better than dying.

But......

BOOM!! CRASH!!!

The moment Ejiro jumped, the scarlet formation collapsed completely, and the star meteorite released it's full pressure on him. Nigo was unaffected but Ejiro's speed and altitude reduced greatly.

"Ejiro!" Nigo screamed in mid-air, the moment he noticed Ejiro's speed reducing. He wanted to help but he was a cripple. He was just flying under the push from Ejiro, so he couldn't stop himself, how much more help Ejiro.

His body ached badly due to the hit from Ejiro but he wasn't concerned by that. His friend had pushed him in order to save him, so how could he be angry?

He reached out with his arm, towards Ejiro. In fear, he wished he could do something to save him but nothing happened. Zara on the other hand, was dazed at the sight before her. She forgot the heat emitted by the star meteorite.

She could only look on because she knew, trying to move towards any of them would be futile.

"NO!!"

Nigo shouted in pain as he tried to reach out to Ejiro, and Ejiro's speed reduced as the star meteorite grew closer.

Whoosh!

A white light appeared around nigo for an instant, before it went flying towards, the descending Star meteorite. The moment it made contact with it; there was no noise, no explosion, but the meteorite separated in two.

One had an azure flame that was scorching hot while the other: sky blue with a purifying feeling.

Nigo was too engrossed to notice what had just happened, but zara and Ejiro saw it perfectly. Many strange things had happened today, but this was the strangest of them all.

Because a cripple had split a star meteorite in half.

The pressure reduced the moment the two separated. One flew to the left and the other to the right. The one at the right was the scorching blue flames while the one on the left the purifying meteorite.

Though it's pressure had reduced, it was already too late............

Nigo landed and rolled on the floor inside the Ice Blizzard Barrier, but Ejiro was still outside of it

BOOM!!

The star meteorite crashed into the ground and exploded. The perimeter around the school vibrated in it's wake.

"NO!!"

Nigo screamed as he watched the explosion cover Ejiro, who was still in mid-air, outside the barrier.

The earth for about three hundred metres caved in, forming a large hole and destroying the side of the Nascent Section Building.

According to Ejiro's calculation, the best case scenario had occurred, but it was mostly due to nigo splitting the meteorite in half. Making it hold only ten percent of its power.

Nigo crawled towards the explosion outside the barrier. He was devastated at the fact that, his friend sacrificed himself for him.
