"You're going to answer my questions. If you don't, you'll die!"
"Just who are you?!" Yells the boss as he backs away from Arthur. "I am Arthur Freyer, also known as Maou!" The boss's face goes pale as his pupils tremble from an immense feeling of fear and despair. He looks around at his massacred underlings and begins to softly cry. "Boss is going to kill me! *Sob* I don't want to die yet!"
Arthur's face stiffens as he hears a key piece of information. 'Boss…! So he's only an underling?' Arthur couldn't help but chuckle amongst himself. 'I happen to need some more targets for practice. I'm sure the rest of their organization can do fine jobs!'
Arthur lifts the boss into the air by the neck. "Tell me everything!" Shouts Arthur; the shadow cast on his face distorts into a demon's face. Arthur's glowing red eyes pierced the soul of the boss and a river of urine flowed down his leg soaking his pants.
"Y-yes! I'll tell you everything! Just please, please spare me!" Cries the boss as his whole body trembles. "M-My name is Xiao Hong, I'm the boss in charge of Japan. Our organization is based in China but we control all of Asia from the shadows. M-My boss's name is Zhang Yan and he's very strong. He has a lot of money and expendable men, so if you attack him then prepare for a possible death." States Hong, trembling.
Maeda had hid behind a tree out of sight so she could watch the battle between Arthur and the thugs. She watched the brutality that Arthur portrayed and his mercilessness when it came to sparing his enemies. She couldn't help but to tremble from the sight. Nervousness and anxiety welled up inside of her as she thought back to the time her dad attacked him. 'My dad could have easily been killed by him!' She shouted in her mind. 'We're lucky.'

Maeda worked up the courage to leave the woods and walk up to Arthur. Hong was still gripped in Arthur's hand. The sight of a grown man covered in his own urine, snot, and tears was enough to make her shutter, but somehow, she enjoyed watching the evil man suffer.
"China? Asia? I don't know any of these places." Says Arthur as he paces back and forth, still holding Hong. "Here, look!" Maeda shows Arthur a picture of Asia on her phone. "This is China, this here is where we are, Japan. And all of this is Asia!"
"What sort of magic device is this?!" Asked Arthur intently. He was fascinated by Maeda's phone. "Is it powered by a magic stone? Or perhaps you feed mana directly into it?" Questioned Arthur as he dropped Hong on the ground and took the phone from her hand.
Maeda is confused by his questions. Words she had never heard before sprung from his mouth and bombarded her ears. "Magic device? Magic stone? Mana? What do you mean?"
Maeda's question piqued Arthur's interest. "Do you not know how to use magic and mana?" Maeda shook her head. 'What?! So does the concept of using magic just not exist in this world?!'
"So then, what is this thing?!" Arthur asks while pointing to Maeda's phone. "This is called a cell phone! People use it to talk to each other and I can ask it questions by typing in this box!"
"Ah! Very interesting indeed!" Arthur takes his notebook back out of his robe and begins frantically writing about the cell phone. Arthur made sure to capture everything he possibly could about the phone, from it's design to it's features, he wrote it all down. Maeda just watched him write and chuckled to herself. 'He's like a little kid!' She thought.

Arthur finished writing and put his notebook away. He turned his gaze back towards Hong, who was collapsed on the ground. "Now, back to our little conversation! Why were you targeting this family's money?" Arthur's voice is overpowering Hong's thunderous beating heart. "My boss demanded we make more money so we went after them, because they won a lot of money in poker!" Hong desperately gasps for air as he feels Arthur's killing intent suffocating him.
"Please let me go!" Hong bega on his hands and knees, kissing the feet of Arthur. "You beg for a mercy you weren't willing to give! Why should I give you the liberty of forgiveness?!" Hong starts to softly cry after Arthur finishes speaking. "Thank you for saving my father!" Maeda says while smiling from ear to ear. "Don't mention it!" States Arthur as he grins. Maeda bows her head to thank Arthur again. "Look out!" Screams Maeda as she points towards Xiao.
Arthur turns to see Xiao Hong shoot the rest of his magazine towards him. The bullets whizzed through the air and flattened against his magic barrier. "Shit!" Yelps Hong as he dashes away from Arthur as fast as his legs will carry him. Hong flees into one of the sedans and speeds off down the road. "Now you deserve death!" Exclaims Arthur as a sphere of fire forms above his palm.
{Fire Magic: Blast}
The sphere flies through the air and strikes the back of the sedan. An explosion of debris and fire rockets through the air. "Guess that takes care of him!" Arthur turns back to Maeda, who is happy to see him unharmed.
"Thank you, I will owe you another large favor later." Arthur smiled a friendly grin to Maeda. She couldn't help but blush as she locked eyes with him. 'He's cute now that he looks my age! No! I can't think that way about him!... Wait, why wouldn't I have feelings for him! He did just save me and my father!' She tried to reassure her feelings for him were just out of admiration but she knew otherwise.
Arthur starts to walk away from her and falls to the ground. "Arthur!" Shouts Maeda as she rushes over to his side.

Gaslgiht
There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.
