《Author's Rant》Re-reading

Ugh. I've been so busy. Why does moving off campus have to be so hectic. Still need to apply for summer courses, but hey. That's for later.
Anyway, I've got a graduation I have to attend tomorrow, and I can't really decline because I have nothing else, and this weekend will be a visit to my grandparents, but, next week should be more free? I dunno.
I went to get back to writing my stories, and I ran into a problem. I have this issue with continuity. I am almost obsessed with it. So, every time I go to write, if I've forgotten something, I go back and re-read everything that I've written so far, t0o try and get my mindset back into the story, and I have all the facts laid out in front of me. I, uh, messed that up on The Shifter, though I don't think anyone has noticed it yet. Early on, I had the personality of Havel and Malik created. But, uh, I kinda forgot. And they're twins. Makes it all the easier to mix them up, even in my head.
So, currently, Havel and Malik have no personality at this point, because I fucked up early on. So that's been a pain to try and work with and fix. Doesn't help that I lost my notes sheet for The Shifter. I think it might be on a different computer, but even then, I don't remember what I titled the file.
But, at least I am now at home, where I can actually access my other computer and maybe get that file off. Or I might not. It's a pain to set up the computer. Might make a new one and just subtly change things from before. As long as the continuity remains, it'll be fine.

In other news, I got a review. On this "story." I don't get it. Like, I mean, thanks? But, this...isn't a story? I'm...confused and, just, I'unno. I like comments, and I like reviews, as they let me see what the people reading my shit think, but I was never expecting any of that for this. Maybe some for the story ideas I soundboard here, but not even then, really.
Oh god, ADHD brain just jumped tracks. Looking back at my writing from when I first started, it's clear to see I've improved. Hell, even my writing from a few years ago is worse than it is now. But, despite that, I still think I write like shit. I think that's normal, though? Always underestimating your art. Also, I just realized, but a lot of the stories I started writing always stopped shortly after I introduced other characters. I guess that goes to show how much I dislike writing dialogue. I might post my zombie story next.
Oh, right, that reminds me. I have this naming convention. Almost all of my stories are titles as "The _______" for a reason. I always struggled coming up with names for my stories. But then I read this book series that did the same thing. And I realized, "Hey, ya'know, I could just do that. I won't actually keep those names as the names of the stories, but they'll make good placeholder names until I think of something better." Spoiler: I have yet to think of anything better. So, all but one of my stories are currently named "The _______" and are very unlikely to ever change.
Well, I'mma get back to re-reading my stories, and then, when I catch up, I'll write a bit. See ya later.

8 150Oh Arceus, I'm a Pokemon! Now What?
Pokeballs have rules, and everybody, human and pokemon alike, know them; Pokeballs come in many types and colours. Some are good for using at night, others in the water, others are for bigger pokemon. Some catch pokemon better than others, or catch certain types of pokemon better than others. In every case though, there are things that pokeballs do and do not do. They're cheap, they're everywhere. Pokeballs can be resisted. They're never 100% successful. And they don't work on humans. Right? Right? Lux the eevee is in a bit of a pickle. She came into contact with a strange pokeball, and... that's where things started to go wrong. Now she's not quite sure who she is, what she is or where she's going. Oh Arceus, I'm a pokemon! But... now what? Updates weekly (so far). A not-so serious fun jaunt through the pokemon world.

In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))
