I've...had things going on, mainly an event in my life I'd much rather not speak of or bring up. It took a great emotional toll on me, and I'm afraid many just wouldn't understand.

I am also swamped with assignments I left over due to procrastination and then that happening, so this month I'm way too busy to write something up.

I'm taking a short break, so probably around mid-February is when you will see me continue writing.

The wolves held together as the lion growled, the king of beasts standing ahead of the entire zoo of animals, they all jeered at the pack and cheered at the lion.

Until the darkness came, night befalling them.

Howls filled their ears, calls to the moon which gave little for light already, as then the rising of snow and smoke blinded them entirely.

The sounds of prowling and rushing all around them filled them all with panic.

The signs of eyes watching, calculating, hunting them, they surrounded them.

That is when they heard the lion's cry.

A roar.

A growl.

A cry, and it was all over.
