《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 28

Later in the noon, Camshron went to his cabinet with full embarrassment. He couldn’t stand being the target of everyone's eyes aiming right on his face. For the second time in his life, he was feeling ashamed. It was also possible that Mr. Meredink was also feeling the same right now.
Camshron had disappointed himself.
If the photo was useless, then his career level was going to be in danger. If he would be out of this, then he would have nothing to do. All he knew was to investigate. What would happen to his wife and his two children if he gets fired? Camshron would again go in Netherlands where nobody knew he was a CIA Investigator and resume the job of private detective.
He then went towards Mr. Fernsby's cabinet and found the room to be empty. He was disappointed.
He recited Meredink saying last night, "Two days bunk, one hour peeping…a fast search…a photo…"
"Yes, he is right." he kicked the wall.
He then went to the computer unit room. He managed to push the door.
He could feel hot air in the room produced by human breathes. For some occasions only Computer Unit Room was this much crowded. He got in and mixed with crowd walking randomly.
"Do you get it? Do you get it?" Mr. Cook was shouting to his junior. He was very amazed when he saw the same photograph displayed on most of the monitors.
"Oh my God, Nathan." Mr. Cook hugged Nathan Camshron.
"What's happened?' stammered Camshron, who was not expecting all this.
"Camshron, it's a clue."
"WHAT?"
"Sit and talk." said Mr. Cook and months later they got seated somewhere.
"Who's this man?"
"An army."
"He has a name…"
"Fernandez Walker, who lastly stayed in Mississippi. His family is still out there."
"Is he Bob?"
"No, he's lost. Lost since 4th July."
"Are you kidding me? How can this happen?"

"This has happened as I know."
"No one from navy informed about their man missing."
"Yes Camshron. Navy was hiding this. You were right. Colonel Norton, just out of scandals since few days, is again dragged into this."
"Why was he not informing us all this then? He was also lost after Haq's murder."
"Camshron, let me tell you another thing-he was declared lost in 4th July but he was not present in Navy since last June."
"Oh My God! Then where might he be now?"
"No idea…"
"Why?"
"Because Norton hid this information about Walker's disappearance. He has been named in this matter for several times. If Norton has nothing to do with these shits, then why did he hide this? Is Norton the one who should be blamed for Walker's elimination?"
"Camshron! Walker can be anywhere. I don’t he is even alive."
"I think Norton is trapped."
Camshron was choosing logic over GAP Theory. According to him the story of this case said- Norton hired to terminate Haq for some reasons. He chose his junior Walker for this. Bob was the person handling Walker for all these days, and Bob was controlled by Norton himself. Norton, perhaps, made plastic surgery of Bob possible because Bob didn’t want to live further life with his guilty face. To keep Bob's identity as a secret, he ordered him to terminate Dr. Jones and hired Walker for Mike, who was once hired to kill Lorgé.
In Bob's order, Mike and Walker ran and Bob was always under Norton's nose. All extra illusions were prefect plotting of Norton and the conclusion there it was.
As per Walker's disappearance, it was possible he was once who killed Haq. This logic was the only one available answer. There was no other answer except this. Nor was any clue as it alternative.
The existence of Bob was looking to be because of Norton. Camshron felt Norton was going to fall in a much more serious problem when he would find out that Walker's family had got a call in last June from Norton, claiming Walker had been promoted.

This was a lie- a heart breaking lie.
And he was sent to an Asian country for his further work and said his family to not hope for Walker to visit home again.
Walker's family was in shock.
They were thinking Walker didn’t exist.
Either Walker had betrayed his whole loving his family or he was dead. If he was alive, then he could call their family at least once from last June.
His family had tried to find out the ultimate truth, but it was now a secret-a secret which needed to be concealed without any confession.
It looked like Norton had dominated his family and made compelled to live in constant grief.
It was an evil deed and till now CIA didn’t know neither FBI from Washington DC knew all this.
The truth could be anything. Was Camshron doing his duty or was spreading salt on Walker family's unhealed wound?

THE SUPREME COURT,
The hall was too much big. Big enough that it could occupy over hundred people at once and almost every seat in the hall existed of people. Just a few cops and a dozen of CIA, FBI and MPD officers were standing. Everyone in the room was looking at the honorable judge as well as jury at a long table.
Nobody could expect this was happening.
Colonel Norton was inside jury box. He was looking at the lawyer, with full of hope, whom he had hired even though the lawyer himself knew he was hitting his head on a rock wall.
They waited for the judge to say, "Begin the discussion." and hammered his wooden hollow desk.
"Honorable judge and jury, first of all I would like to say my client, Mr. Norton, is not the culprit. He is dragged in this situation due to a conspiracy by anyone who wishes his harm." said the lawyer in brilliant voice.
"I hope you have enough evidences to support your statement." said judge as usual.
The unhappiest person to see all this happening in front of his eyes was Nathan Camshron. He was the man who was looking most delighted about an hour ago.
Camshron was the one receiving lots of praises from higher level officials of secret service organizations.
He was on second last bench of the hall and was sitting just at the side of Mr. Hadfield. He was too delighted- the most. He congratulated, "Congratulations Detective Camshron."
"Thank you." he answered, trying to keep his tongue tied, and watched Mr. Norton in the jury box.
Camshron couldn’t match eyes with him.
Lawyer said, "Your honor, this is not a big proof. An absent person never represents guilt."
Jury looked at the ruthless lawyer.
Judge had a look on the jury and said, "Right now, the only witness is Mr. Walker- who seems not to be absent from the court right now. To justify your statements, we need to have him here."
The sad face in the jury box was turning hopeless every second. He was going to vomit in fear because if he was proved as guilty, then death penalty was the only possible punishment.
Judge sounded, "Mr. Norton, we have a witness. We have Mr. Jason Walker who happens to be the father of Fernandez Walker."
A tall white man touching seventieth spring appeared in at the witness box and said, "I had got a call from him as you know. Since that, I haven’t seen my son. I doubt either he has killed my son or he is-"
"JUST STOP IT." roared the lawyer.
"I demand peace in the court please." judge increased his soft tone into a harsher one.
"So why isn’t he giving me my son back?" said the old man. "Have you any answer?"

8 86Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
