《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 25

"I mean to say, just look! Bob's name comes right after Haq's murder. Before it no Bob appeared. You know something more?"
"No." said Les.
"Mike was taken out of the prison, but not to kill Haq. But to kill Lorgé. And the attack on him comes right after the murder. After an unsuccessful attack on Lorgé, Mike's brain was tampered. On the other side, someone was hired to murder Haq, and he did it pretty well. Then why was not that man nor selected for Mike's one. Killer for killer! Don’t you feel this all is very peculiar indeed?"
"This all is an odd case. I can't explain right!"
"Just guess."
"Well," stammered Les, "Maybe Bob is the one behind all this and-and it might have been his compulsion to select M-Mike for Lorgé."
"You got the point? Some reasons might be behind this, because no assassin's name is found in Dr. Jones's murder. I doubt a lot about it."
"Present it."
"Killing a doc isn’t a thing is which needs killer to be hired. Since his murder and attempt on Mike, both had taken place in South Dakota. Bob is behind this as well. If he is a gangster, then he can kill doctor."
"I beg you for some reasons man. Be practical."
"What connection do you find between a man's face in bandages and a dermatologist?"
"Patient and Doctor."
"Hey, what if I tell you that Bob is a patient whose doctor was Jones?"
Les remembered about great German dictator Adolf Hitler. He had lost his eyesight during the First World War in the battlefield when he was sending messages. He was then sent to a doctor who cured his eyes.
When Hitler came into power years later than he killed the doctor because he did not want this information to be leaked. But it was unmasked later.

Just like it, Bob might have killed the doctor to avoid secrets get revealed. "And what might be the secret, then?"
"Dermatologist…skin expert…Mr. Jones also knew plastic surgery then, isn’t it?"
"You mean Bob has changed his face?"
"You're very close to it, Les. But if he had changed his face, then he would also be changing his name officially."
"Illegally." said Les, who was looking to be surprised.
"Correct! I think Bob is not Bob. He was someone else, and only his surgeon could know who he was. There's full reason for Bob to kill Jones."
"Check his appointments Camshron."
"Useless. I tried but no plastic surgery activity is found. He had been doing it secretively because he was found to be absent at one hospital of South Dakota just after 4th July."
"Do you suspect anyone other than Bob?"
"Believe me. I hope Ambassador Mr. Morris. I had found him unlocking Haq's cabinet door without using any key. Same day he informed me that Haq's papers are missing."
"Oh! What about the papers?"
"Papers are worthless. I just found his one paper in Haq's coat pocket. It was a complaint note from Afghanistan."
"So where else could he go?"
"Wherever, but certainly not in Afghanistan. He had not even bought a plane ticket to there. I contacted every airport of US. No one says Haq had taken any flight. He was here is USA for those days. By the way he hid the paper himself so he had no matter to worry."
"Any conclusion?"
"You stop enquiring me, Les. I have told you already. Bob must be behind all these."
"Who's Bob then?"
"Oh! He's a Canadian civilian who was once my close friend. He had once stayed in London and visited in many places but his best Holiday spot is Torquay."

"Are you kidding me?"
"Yes I am."
"Why would a person in bandages prefer to go abroad?" said interrogative Les while going out of the room. At last Les was mood of joking.
"I will find out this, Bob." said Camshron. "Trust me."
Searching for recent plastic surgeries was a damn option. He knew people did plastic surgery to change or modify their faces' damaged parts.
In this case it looked like Bob wanted his existence to be changed. He was probably going to give up his past life and wanted to start a new criminal life. He was sure that information of Mike regaining memory was going to be leaked in any official channel. Bob could get alerted after it and could try to escape.
There was another suspect in his mind- if Bob had done plastic surgery then now he might have been able to remove the bandages and if once it was going to be removed, everything was going to get upside down.
Bandages were the only thing he knew about Bob. There was no information about him after all than this.
Catching Bob was not a serious problem, but the main issue was finding out who he was in real.
It was why Camshron had appointed CIA spies there who were there since the attack on Mike but no one among them was able to give him any information.
He knew spies were trying, but the job is never easy for spies. Nobody appoints spy for easy jobs. But if bandages were untied, then nobody could find Bob because he had come in contact with Mike from nowhere.
Investigation from St. Elizabeth's Hospital was going to be conclusion less. Camshron was nowhere. Now he had got many things but still everything was remaining- Bob. Just Bob could show what was going on.
Who was Bob?
Camshron talked to himself, "He is air. He came from nowhere. He must be the killer. There is nothing till now which prohibits me from thinking that he is behind all this. Mike is connected with Bob…Leave it right now."
Nathan Camshron kicked the dustbin in frustration.
All the dirt scattered under his table.

Fights will be bloody, magic will be rampant, and the slice of life moments will just warm you to the core. (actual kingdom building)
