《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 24

METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT,
WASHINGTON D.C,
As every day, many cars were parked outside the building of MPD. Police departments are always busy and MPD is one of the busiest.
Everyone in Security Control Room didn’t have time to breathe. It had passed a long time since they had contacted CIA Headquarters, but MPD was not going to bind their hands. As they had got informed about the murder of Dr. Jones, they took out his month's work schedule, including anything which looked unusual to them.
No, MPD was not in the mood of rivalry. They could not compete with CIA in any field. Although CIA is one of the greatest intelligence agencies of the world, no one underestimated MPD as well.
CIA did a thing confidentially last night- they searched Bob whereas MPD was busy in finding out how Phantom Being had vanished. There was a critical difference, they had its video clip but CIA hadn’t it till now. They wanted its submission to them but nobody from CIA was interested to call MPD back.
For CIA, MPD was out of the point. Deputy Chairman of CIA had told Mr. Meredink to be passive in investigations. It meant for MPD to be almost out of the business.
It was said such because MPD was making any proofs available except the video clip they had figured out about an hour ago.
"Hey! I have contacted Mr. Vinci." it was Mr. Meredink. "he regards this video as a vital evidence for further investigation which is stuck right now."
Everyone in the control room gazing at monitors turned back at him. He continued, "We have sent this video to CIA but till then whole computer unit must be active here. Make 3D recreation NOW."
Whole computer unit got involved in making this mobile video clip very clear. The video was shot from down and showed Phantom Being jumping and vanishing in air.

"Impossible!" thundered the head man of Computer Unit.
"What the hell now?" snapped Mr. Meredink, crushing his cup of coffee.
"Sir, he has vanished. He's a ghost. A spirit perhaps, maybe a wizard or a demon…"
"Please have some reason."
An hour of the video's observation was unfruitful for all of them.
In a sudden, Meredink's eyes fell on a computer monitor which was zooming to a point.
He could see the image of person getting liquefied a bit.
"PAUSE IT!"
He could observe the man's stomach had now a transparent hole which didn’t exist a second ago there. The operator forwarded and rewinded the sequence over seven times.
It appeared like Phantom Being was like smoke.
Or he was?
"Hologram Projection. It's a projection." said the man looking at Mr. Meredink.
"You sure?" Mr. Meredink eyes lay wide open.
"Yes sir. I am almost sure."
"What does almost mean for you?"
"Sir, other projections can't display such a clear image in an irregular object, but this type of projection needs no projection point, it can even display an image or video on day time. On air! Like it's a real human out there."
Mr. Meredink had heard about this and had also heard about a freak scientist who had been making it once to deceive FBI Agent Andrew Ford a few years ago. It was said such a device was last used in Rome.
He continued, "Well, by using different softwares we can create animation of an object but sir…"
"What?""FBI had this technology available. Later devices which were discovered were submitted to US Navy. They remain un-revealed to any agency till yet. Not MI-5, not CIA and not RAW."
Hologram was a small flat disk like thing which could be used for projection. It was a portable piece of technology small enough to be affixed anywhere.

"Hologram Projection Technology…"
—
Whole Computer Unit in CIA was busy in finding out how he had vanished. Their doubts were increasing until Mr. Fernsby announced them about Hologram Projection Technology.
They got certain that MPD was right, CIA just had been handled its prototype. Prototype had a very clear sound and imaging quality. If they had been using an original one, then it could deceive every mind.
"This prototype sucks!" Camshron's clear words came from his cabinet.
He was new to this type of device.
The answer was very clear: the attack on Mike was also a set up. Although it was an attempt to kill him, it was enough to complicate the case. Perhaps Phantom Being had Hologram device as a backup for escaping. And when he realized killing Mike was tough, so he chose to run abort the killing and flee.
"Who the hell are this person and Bob?"
He was not able to find out whether Bob was in confusion or they were. This all was puzzling.
Till now this was the conclusion- Bob desired to show Norton as a man who hired someone to kill Haq and everything going on was just for a small thing, very fine that most people couldn’t even notice.
"I want to know how Bob got this equipment."
Les, who was in his cabinet right now, replied, "Well, you may know US criminals once had been provided such things by Crimson."
"You mean- who died in Japan?"
"Yeah, killed by FBI agent Ford. Crimson must have provided these-"
"No connection, no clue, no answer. Leave it right now."
"You know one thing, Nathan?"
"What?""Mr. Fernsby is CIA's dictator."
"Whatever you like to say."
"So what do you think this Bob might be? Suspect is right on him."
"I can't fix now. I sometimes suspect Norton."
"Hah! Why would he be wearing bandages and kill a doc?"
"…bandages…kill a doc."
"Doc's a dermatologist."
"Explain Camshron."
