EMBASSY OF AFGHANISTAN,

"We have his details. Well, if you don’t think they are enough, then you may use our database search."

Camshron got up and asked, "Shall we?"

"Oh!" Mr. Morris got up, and then he made Camshron to walk behind him to the room present in the end of passage. When the door was open, then he saw piles of files in bookshelves. It was looking like a library of files. Files were kept clean and were arranged in Alphabetical Filing method.

Mr. Morris said, "We have the entire database, but we have been also using this room for alternate source of data about our workers." and went towards shelve of alphabet H.

Ham…Harry…Hatter…Haq…

Mr. Morris got the file at last.

He showed the file to Detective Camshron and said, "You may take this."

He caught the file and turned its cover then saw a Black and White PP sized photograph of Haq with full name written 'Mohammad Ul Haq.' Date of birth- 1967-07-12.

Camshron felt like something wrong had happened and said, "I want more than this. This is nothing else than a CV. I want to know Haq's activities since he joined this place. I want his citizenship, passport and even legal documents regarding his identity."

Mr. Morris went out and, with Camshron, got down the stairs. Then they saw a passage in their right and when they crossed two rooms, they saw a nameplate over the door - MOHAMMAD UL HAQ. Mr. Morris unlocked the door, then went inside with him. Camshron thought in a second, why the door locked?

Mr. Morris went near to the desk and opened all the drawers in there and said, "Haq's works are recorded in files here." and he went out of the desk.

When Camshron made a look at the drawer then found very few papers in there. He checked every drawer, but just blank A4 sheets were there. He put all the papers on the desk, but he found no written documents there. This was shocking to him. How could this happen? He found nothing else than disappointment enough to make him feel cry a lot.

"Are we in the wrong cabinet?" asked Camshron in nasty surprise.

"No, Haq went there, but what happened?"

"Impossible…it can't be happening."

"All papers are gone."

Mr. Morris got a great shock now. All papers were gone in a day. He said putting hand on his forehead, "How is this possible? We had his record."

"What a trouble?" Camshron roared.

"But we know many things about him. I can explain about him.""No Mr. Morris, written proofs were everything. Even if we catch the killer then we can't prove it in the court in absence of those papers." said disappointed Camshron.

"This room was locked since he was killed.""Hang on! This room was locked?"

"Yes."

"But you didn’t use any keys to unlock this room." said Camshron in an unsatisfied way.

Now Mr. Morris turned pale. He had nothing to say, but Camshron was thinking a lot in that event.

Morris stammered, "I-I-I d-d-did not n-n-notice."

Was it the truth?

Camshron narrowed his eyes and bit his nails. Just behind him he found a coat hanging on wall's hanger. He went near to it and started checking its pockets.

He found a folded paper piece, but it was different from other papers- something was written on it. Whole letter had typed writing. He could see the emblem of Afghan government on the paper's head. He didn’t read it but it inside his shirt's pocket and said, "Mr. Morris, I like this coat."

"Raymond stuff from India."

"Of Haq…but I don’t want it. I don’t wear double coats."

Mr. Morris was now feeling like he was in trouble.

The trouble was unlocked door and missing documents. Camshron continued, "I would prefer database." in a calm voice.

In a minute they were in the cabinet of Mr. Morris where Mr. Hadfield was already present. He said by shaking his warm hands with Camshron's cold one, "Detective Camshron, pleasure to meet you."

"Me too, Mr. Hadfield." replied Nathan Camshron.

Mr. Morris turned on his laptop and searched about the murdered man in his database system. He found a list on screen and with no hesitation, showed it to the detective.

2nd May- Went to Afghanistan for US prisoner.

7th May- Went to South Dakota for consular issues.

11th May- Called to Florida for arrangement of passport problems.

(11th to 29 May 2014 omitted)

3rd June- Gone to Afghanistan for international business affair and to get the condition of US prisoner.

4th July- Conference at The White House.

"Why are these events omitted?" asked Camshron.

"I don’t know."

Morris made an attempt to fix the problem, but the problem was there to stay.

It was omitted like deleted. Even system restoring didn’t look to be a solution for it.

Camshron was sure the data was hidden undetectably by someone.

"Sir, it can't be shown." Hadfield spoke from nowhere.

"But how? I hadn’t even touched this database since a week."

Camshron got too much frustrated. Killer had even reached in the embassy and he had erased some major information. Whatever available was not enough.

"Conference on 4th July. It had been canceled." He was a bit cheerful.

"Was it?" exclaimed Mr. Hadfield.

"Yes, it was. How much careless you can be else? Hadn't Haq told you?"

"He didn’t come to work that day. He went straight to White House before his murder." said Hadfield in a rush.

"The conference was canceled because president wasn’t there otherwise it would have ended."

"Then, can this canceled conference be the seed of murder?" questioned Mr. Morris.

"Can't say right now. Please get the database in a Compact Disc."

Then Mr. Morris loaded database in a CD. Nathan took it and said before going out of the room, "I hope this will be enough…" then went out. He saw cops waiting for him.

One cop asked, "Did you find anything there, sir?"

"Something." Camshron whispered, "at least…"

Then with heavy tramps they got out of the passage and then to the vans through the receptionist hall.

His mobile phone rang. The call was from Langley, from the official number. He knew whose call was it. He received the call, "Detective Camshron sir…"

"Get the damn name changed! I know your name. Did you find anything?" asked the man from Langley.

Camshron got near to van, unlocked the door and said, "We found something."

"A resolution of canceled conference?"

"No. Resolution is top secret, but I found schedule of Haq." said Camshron after getting in the van and kept hearing till car ran, "Does it sound meaningful for investigation?"

"I'm not very positive, Mr. Fernsby. Some events are found to be missed out. A schedule has been omitted. Have a doubt the schedule was behind it. If not, then why would killer get in the embassy and erase data?"

"Wait! Killer got in embassy too?"

"It is also possible the killer is from the embassy."

"We just informed Haq's family about his murder. It took a long time for us to find out his Next of Kin. Whatever but killer can't erase the database-"

"Well, he has." interrupted Camshron, "Schedule was in there but it exists no more."

"Goddamn it!"

"Sir, we have plenty of reasons to worry about the case but few for investigation. I would send a copy of database in Langley and also would investigate in here."

"It's one reason…"

"Second one, Mr. Cook must be informed for it- we should keep an eye, well lots of eyes on the embassy."

"A normal work, but any plans? We made a contingency plan here."

"What is it?" Camshron asked.

"We will try to find out the resolution of the conference. I think the cancelation and murder are linked."

"A true high profile case. Mind bobbling."

"So any conclusion till now?"

"Just one, the killer has contact in the embassy otherwise, how did he get there?"

"Others?"

"I will inform you sir when I reach at MPD headquarters. Give me half an hour."

The call got hung from Langley.
