《Outlaw Teens》Chapter 13

"So, what are you planning to do?" Zack whispered to Bogart. He was dressed in his full combat suit just like the others.
In front of them stood the huge five-storey mansion of the finance minister. The roof of the mansion was made of Kerb and reflected the entire city. Around the mansion was an enormous garden made of artificial purple glowing grass. The gates and boundary surrounding the mansion were made of transparent Veranium. A warning board hung outside the boundary.
"This house is protected by Kerb Thermodecomposers." Billy said, reading from the boaer.
"But they were only used to decompose metals by heat." Judy said.
"Well, if we touch the invisible shield around this house, our hands will decompose." Drew said.
"Judy, can you take care of the shield?" Bogart asked.
"Well, the shield is computerised so I can try." Judy replied. She turned on her bandphone and went to work. Ten minutes later, she was pulling the strands of hair on her head while trying to punch the buttons on her projection screen.
"I managed to shut down the security cameras but it will take a lot of time to disable the shield. I need to override so many security firewalls." Judy stated.
"I think I have a way to help you." Drew said. "What will happen if we make it look like the shield is not working?"
"The shield will not get disabled but the recovery program will start to work. All security systems will go offline for maintenance." Judy explained.
"So, it'll work then." Drew concluded.
"Yes, it will. But how will you make the shield that way?" Judy asked.
In response, Drew took out a gadget from his backpack and tossed it inside the Minister's house. Suddenly, a faint yellow shield appeared, trapping the gadget.
"What did you throw?" Judy asked.
"Just one of my failed gadgets. Its surface was made of Kerb which is why this thermodecomposer couldn't destroy it. There will be a gap in shield where my gadget is placed and the computer will think that the shield is not working properly." Drew explained.
"Whatever you did has worked. All the security firewalls have been disabled." Judy reported.
The shield started flickering as Judy hacked it and finally it got disabled.
"Great job both of you." Bogart praised. "Now let's get inside."
Drew used his Blaster - a huge gun that discharged a powerful force, to make the gate come out from its hinges.
"Let's move now. You have the spraypaints with you?" Zack asked Billy.

"Of course I do." Billy took out the spray cans from his pocket.
"I want you to decorate this mansion in your style." Zack smirked.
Suddenly, security alarms started blaring.
"Shit, that's not good." Bogart muttered. "We shouldn't have destroyed the door. They must have installed some alarm system to it."
"Shall we flee?" Judy asked.
"Not until we get our hands on the money. Don't worry, I got a plan." Bogart assured.
"What are you planning to do?" Zack asked.
"Giving a call to Andy." Bogart smirked.
He turned on his Bandphone, tapped on its screen a few times and called Andy.
"Yo Andy, I want you to come to the Finance Minster's house. And bring our secret weapon with you. There will be some police to kill." Bogart said.
Andy's face lit up at the remark of the word 'Secret weapon'. "I'll get there as fast as I can."
"Now, shall we enter the house? Surely the guards inside the house will be waiting for us." Bogart stated.
"I'll keep our hosts entertained." Zack smirked, pulling out the dual pistols from his holster.
The robot guards in their black gear had all gathered up in front of the door with their guns pointed at it. They were waiting for anyone to open the door and show their head.
Zack was prepared for it. He abruptly opened the door, threw a grenade at the Robot guards before they could react and then closed it again.
"What are you planning to do now?" Drew asked.
"You remember these?" Zack took out a triangular red prisms from his suit.
"The ones that do nothing?" Drew asked.
"Exactly."
Zack opened the door again, tossed the prism in air and it landed behind the robots. The robots all turned to observe the prism. Taking use of the opportunity, Zack stepped ahead and fired at robots with his dual pistols. A few seconds later, they all were lying on the ground.
"Let's go now. Hurry up!" Bogart urged. "Billy and Drew, you will stay behind us."
"Won't argue with you on that." Drew said as they both entered the house.
Once Drew and Billy were inside, Billy started spray painting the walls and writing 'Rebels' on them.
"You're still doing this? The police will be here any minute." Judy said.
"I won't go without doing what I was brought here for." Billy said.
Zack placed his dual pistols back inside his holster and grabbed Annihilator-G67, one of the most devastating machine guns, from one of the guards before heading forward inside the house.

The entrance corridor led the Rebels to the main hall.
"So, now we know where the finance minister is spending all his money." Billy commented.
In front of them was a vast area having the most advanced stuff one could ever get. There were the most advanced recliners, a huge hologram television on the front wall which could make the person feel as if they are inside the movie. The walls were installed with softlights to lit up the entire room. It was also equipped with 'Wall Lines' system so that the patterns on the wall kept changing every few seconds.
"It just makes me sad. The money that was supposed to be for our development is rather being eaten up by the governments." Bogart stated.
"Where is that jerk anyway?" Judy asked.
"He probably escaped the house or is hiding somewhere inside it. But we're not here for him. We're here for the money." Bogart replied.
"And how will we know where the money is?" Drew asked.
"Because this robbery has already been planned before." Bogart answered.
"What? When? Why do I never know about it?" Zack inquired.
"It happened before we started recruiting teenagers. Me, Andy, Jim and others planned to rob the house. We knew where the vault was and were in the middle of planning our robbery when the police arrived at our base. The robbery thus never happened."
"It will happen this time then. Just tell us where is the vault containing all the black money." Zack said.
"When you speak a code while the Wall Lines forms a triangular pattern, a secret passage opens up and an elevator appears." Bogart replied.
They waited for a few seconds before the pattern on the wall finally changed into a pattern of scattered triangles.
"B2EG-37-92Q" Bogart shouted at the wall.
Instantly, a portion of the wall shifted and an elevator appeared before their eyes.
"Wow! How had you managed to get hold of this passcode at that time?" Judy asked.
"I had spied on him for two months by planting camouflage cameras inside his house. Finally, I caught him opening the door." Bogart said as he entered the elevator.
The elevator brought all five of them down to a corridor having so bright white walls that Zack had to shut his eyes for a few seconds before they finally adjusted to the light.
Just as they were walking ahead, five drones appeared in front of them. The drones projected green light on their bodies and then started blurting out in a monotonous tone, "Intruder Alert!"
Zack tried to shoot one of the drones but it was too fast for him. The drone shot him on his hand and Zack fell down. Bogart managed to hit one of the drones by slamming his gun with it but it wasn't enough to destroy it. Another drone took him down too, leaving only Judy, Drew and Billy.
"Get behind me." Judy commanded the two as she stepped ahead of them. She fired with her gun but the aim missed.
In response to Judy's bullet, all the drones started firing at them with machine guns.
"Get down." Judy ordered Drew and Billy as she lunged forward at the drones, grabbing one of them and slamming it into the other one. Unfortunately, the moment was short-lived because just then, the third drone collided with her back, it's blade piercing through her suit and letout blood. Another drone shot her with a Stunner leaving only Drew and Billy behind.
Drew reacted fast, taking out his own self-exploding drone from the backpack. He controlled it with a remote controller and once the drone was close to the nearest drone, he hit the self-destruction button. Drew's drone took down the other drone with it too.
"That leaves us to two. What should we do now?" Drew shouted.
"I have an idea." Billy whispered his plan as quickly as he could before the drones came after them. Both Drew and Billy ran away in separate directions. One drone went after Drew and one after Billy.
Once both the drones were lead to opposite directions, Drew and Billy took a turn and headed back towards each other. The drones naturally followed them.
As soon as Billy was close enough to Drew, he pounced at him and took both of them down while the drones collided with each other and exploded.
"Well, that's settled. But what should we do about the three?" Drew asked as he looked down. Zack and Bogart were trying to get back on their feet with no success while Judy remained stunned. Blood was still dripping from her back.
Suddenly, Bogart's Bandphone started buzzing. Its screen displayed an incoming Hologram call from Andy.
Bogart answered it and weakly asked," What's going on?"
"The police are here." Andy reported. "They seem eager to catch you. Military trucks, helicopters and tanks have surrounded the house. Although we don't have to worry about it, do we? That's nothing for our 'Secret Weapon'"

8 76Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog. None of those who saw the blazing calamity with their own eyes lived to tell the tale, and those who attempted to venture in never came back. Since then, towers, caverns, and ruins have appeared and disappeared without a pattern. Those who were brave enough to venture in were rewarded with a partner capable of defying the natural laws as humanity knows it. People started to call them ‘Incarnation’, and before long, more and more Incarnation were gathered and sold as commodity, especially after a billionaire has sponsored a fighting tournament offering cash prizes to those possessing the strongest Incarnation, spurring the greedy and desperate to hunt for the fabled creatures at the cost of their lives. Claire Saphira wanted none of that. She simply wished for a life where she could live without worry of her own survival. As she ran from the debt collectors for the umpteenth time, she was swallowed by an errant tower, where she saw a frail, pale-skinned girl with ashen hair hung by chains. It was a chance, a chance to participate in the tournament and live without worrying about survival. Yet, something nagged in the back of her mind. Why did she look so familiar? Planned release schedule: One chapter every day for Mon-Fri, and a break on Sat-Sun. The release will slow down at some point, but most likely won't go under 3 chapters a week.
