《Final Realms - New World》Ambush!

Two pairs of unknown intruders were approaching Cynthia, who had been drugged by the feast she had consumed earlier. Dozing off while not knowing what happened to her, both intruders carefully maintain their distance from the goddesses who fell unconscious.
"Are you sure the drug is strong enough to put her down?" said one of the intruders.
"Why are you being so weasel?! What do you think she had the capabilities to neutralize it?! Those drugs are strong enough to put a big animal to sleep for a week. Furthermore, this animal was mutated, the radioactive residual inside this creature blood enough to put her off guard even without our injected drug."
Having an argument over the sneaky action taken by them earlier. One of the intruders seems overly cautious by not knowing how much the effect has taken Cynthia into her lullaby sway. Judging from their sound under a heavily protected suit, they don't seem like middle-aged or strangers to this town.
The protective suit worn by these two young men is rather old-fashioned in this newly rebooted world society. It has the same function as the radioactive protection suit, allowing them to roam freely in this contaminated soil. Their head is covered with a helmet layer, revealing a pair of eyes underneath the thick dark coating glasses.
"Say, Patrick. Why did you do so many things for Jessica? It not like she will take her eyes on you," said the cowardly intruders.
"You fool!! Don't speak my name when we are outside of the town. We are the faithful believer of Sir Markcheal. Call me Pat!" The other person retaliated over the word spoken by his friend by revealing his real name in the intercom conversation.
"What are the differences? You shorten the name to..." the fool and the coward. He speaks in an ill manner tone after getting a stern scolding by his best friend.

"Rather than getting Jessica's attention. Our girl here really gives me a freak-out sensation," said Patrick, staring vividly toward Cynthia.
They still wouldn't accept that the belle of their school was the true goddess who hid among them. Got a mixed feeling after they cleared off the doubt by confirming Cynthia's ability to roam freely under this harsh density of radioactive air.
"If you ask me to take off this helmet in this area, I'll surely lose my mind in an instant, yet she could…."
"….not only that. The way she behaves earlier. Are we sure looking at the same taciturn girl in our school?" Patrick resumes the word spoken by his friend when he's still denying the fact that was witnessed by both of them earlier.
"Look like what Sir Markcheal has told us was the truth. She has been possessed by some evil spirit that lingered in our town. We should hurry to get her to our pinpoint location before her condition worsens. Plus, it wouldn't be so great if anyone saw us in here."
Patrick's friend hurried himself to carry Cynthia up from the ground. Loitering here any longer might pose them a more significant problem when neo-human wasn't supposed to step their foot in here. Concurring over his friend's advice, Patrick did the same. He assisted his friend in bringing Cynthia to a sanction hidden on the far side of this jungle.
"Say, Walker. Why did you agree to participate in this mission? You seamlessly having an odd behavior today," Patrick asked. Both of them had to pull Cynthia's body in this grey-ish mud. Dragging her feet along the path, leave a trace of a pair of feet getting carried.
"Nothing particular. I'm just worried about you, Pat. I don't want you to be blinded by your one-sided love. Jessica would never take her eyes on you. We are no one to them in this school. You should know better than I do," Walker replied. He stated his worry as a friend to Patrick, fearing losing himself in a race to win someone's heart who doesn't even notice his presence in their school.

"Who says I want to impress that short-tempered woman. All I cared about was Cynthia. She shouldn't hide her problem when everyone in our school cares about her," said Patrick. Expressing his true feelings in front of Walker. "Even if Jessica didn't come running to me asking for help, I'd made up my mind to help our goddesses."
Walker just stayed silent after the confession made out of the blue by his best friend. Deep inside his thought, a more significant motive was yet to be revealed. No one will ever notice that he was one of the neo-human who served directly toward this town's most influential ancient deity. Placed to guard Cynthia from any harm or threat from the neo-human hatred toward ancient God.
Walker has cast a hidden spell without Patrick's knowledge at that exact moment. A period that allows him to communicate with the deity who has asked for his cooperation to seek out the hidden base of some heresy cult. Intervene with their doings while correcting their path before it fell deeper into the abyss of darkness.

Remorse
I have killed many people over my long life. Men, women, children. None have escaped the shadows that I control. It was only one tiny mistake that I made that changed my life forever. I underestimated her, and I would pay for my hubris. “For every death you have given, you will feel their pain.” What? “For every person you have killed, you will feel regret.” Wait, wait… “For every murder you have commited, you will know what you have done.” I don’t think this is going to be pretty. The power leaves her voice as she continues in a softer tone. “I will give you back what you have lost, you will feel empathy again.” Her power releases me and I fall to the ground. Diana. That was her name. I will remember it. ******** This story starts out somewhat dark, but it will lighten up after the first chapter. I tend to not enjoy the psychological tag too much since stories with the tag tend to be a little insane for my liking, but I feel that I would be remiss not putting it on this story, since a lot of it is about the psychology of the main character. All the content warnings are checked since I want to leave my options open to me for the future. I hope you enjoy.

After Days Chronicles: A Cabin By A Lake And The Things Beyond.
They had come to this place in a mysterious way. A tempest in time whisked her to him then him and her to here, a cabin by a lake, on the top of a mountain, in a valley that no map remembered. Earth, after the Breaking, is a middle ages, modern day, post apocalyptic cluster-fuck. All living things have been altered, in one way or another. The human race is not exempt. Although most of its changes are physical, not mental. Nor moral, for that matter. This is just one of the many stories of the time known as The After Days. 'So, you control the essence?' "No. I give the thing that is, hmm... the essence inside, the bility, hmmph, the a-bilty to move and shape. I tell what I need and they do, or do not if they not liking it." 'Okay let's see if I get this straight then, you touched the rope and gave its essence the ability to move like a snake, then you asked it to do what it did and it...?' "NO! I speak with mind to the hemp and vine, gave its essence the ability. Yes. Ask it to help me. It say sorry for the hurt. Not you I say, not you, you not hurt me. He make you to hurt! He hurt. You no hurt. Help me, free me. Please. Get me keys. It touched the blood on me. I felt it, sad. I felt it anger. I not ask it to. It kill Mekel, I not ask, but I knew, it, was... umm... chance... poss-a-bility. Nature knows. Nature does. I not force nature, I only ask for help."

Small Pond
In a world without systems, levels, or any standard power levels, Faust is a naturally skeptical person who always asks questions first and accepts after he gets confirmation. A lot of it. With some information unknown to the reader, represented as [?], Faust is left to discover who kidnapped him, where he is, if magic exists, and what to do while the reader silently observes him. And as for the YOU dear reader, I'll need your help choosing some things... Small Pond isn't meant to be a high-paced action light novel, but instead, there's a greater focus on world and character building in order to create a greater narrative. Expect the unexpected in this story ;) The release schedule will be paused, for now, I'm going to try and spend some time rethinking the intro and work on school.
