《Final Realms - New World》The Bad & The Ugly

Cynthia didn't leave her seat after the class ended. She has intentionally cast a spell onto Rin's mind, causing her to see nothing but her concealed self. That was when Thalia threw off her sarcasm toward Rin, staring at Cynthia, who had nervousness all over her face, creep out herself as if the spell didn't work on Rin.

It does look weird to Jessica and Thalia to see both reacting with unnatural reactions against each other. Rin had a death stare on the empty seat, while Cynthia had highly-strung shown all over her face.

Jessica didn't pay much attention at first. But she realized that Cynthia had her anxiety shown all over her face. One of them must have used a spell to deceit, concealing her presence completely against another. Calling off her friend to mind her own business was the right call when she saw Rin pull a sigh of distress; at the same time, Cynthia was relieved that it worked out in some way.

Cynthia hurriedly stuffed all the books and some charm sheets, which she had hidden in beforehand to prevent Rin's suspicion. But a knock on the window glasses outside this third-floor classroom halts her movement.

Cynthia turns her head around, finding a silhouette that she recognized at a glance. She looked at the person floating in mid-air outside of their classroom, with a smiling face, tilting her head filled with joy expressed all over her face.

She pulled a sigh of ease after knowing it wasn't the person she desperately wanted to avoid the most. Jessica, who told her friend to keep off from Cynthia's deceit act, returned after telling Thalia that she had left something in the classroom.

Without hesitation, she opens the classroom windows and allows herself to enter. On the other hand, Cynthia bluntly observes her movement while busying, stuffing things into her bag.

"There should be a reason why our school belle doesn't want to get accompanied after school hour. Is there- By any chance- You are going out for a secret meeting?" Jessica bluntly hurls her assumption toward Cynthia's crafty move earlier.

"Secret meeting, what are you talking about?" Cynthia replied. She tried to deny any assumption that came from Jessica's statement. Deep inside her heart, she doesn't want to create any ill-relationship with her classmate.

"A meeting...with the true god...or maybe the devil..." Jessica sneaks right beside Cynthia. It sure does creep her out, but at the same time, a specific word that whispered right on her ears caused Cynthia to feel irritated.

"What do you mean by having a meeting with true god and devil?!" Cynthia remained her tranquil gaze over the blunt statement that came from Jessica.

At first, Cynthia was furious to hear the word which mentioned her involvement with god and demons. Her mind forbids her action, telling her to cease any needless dispute within the school compound. Her body halted as if suffocated by a specific force, snarling in a raspy voice.

"Ah... What I mean was..." Shutter in fear, Jessica couldn't even finish her sentences once she felt the killing intent spread throughout Cynthia's body was so obvious. One wrong word could get her into trouble.

Jessica agitated over her approach. She knew it might be a sensitive matter to Cynthia. But she'd spoken the words without thinking, which caused Cynthia to lose her composure and filled the room with a chilled, killing intent atmosphere. While Jessica is having difficulty choosing to leave or hoping for a different scenario, Cynthia is bracing herself for the worst to come. She must do it even if it meant to keep her secret buried alive with this nosy girl in front of her.
