《Final Realms - New World》Inner Demon

Cynthia takes a deep breath before exacting her anger on her rowdy classmate. She slammed her hand on the table as her cheeks flushed with wrath at Jessica's words.
"Jessica, the thing I despised the most was evil itself. I hope I won't have to say anything else." Cynthia hurriedly stepped away from Jessica after giving her fair warning.
Jessica exhales a sigh of relief after evading her death sentence. She can't budge an inch from her spot as she quietly watches Cynthia leave the classroom. On the contrary, Cynthia responded with a biting tone after expressing her displeasure with Jessica despite retaliating against her forthright statement.
Jessica isn't happy with how things are going for her when she is humiliated instead by Cynthia's action over her words. She had another idea planned out of her thoughts while gripping her hand firmly.
"You bitch, I know every single one of your secrets. Just wait for your doom day as you go out hunting tonight!" Jessica vented her rage out on herself.
It's not like Cynthia doesn't want to retaliate for Jessica's statement. She doesn't have much time until her darkness takes over her body. She couldn't remember anything after losing consciousness in this horrible darkness, so she had to hurry her stride away from the classroom.
After she stepped out from the school ground, she couldn't lift her leg another step further. Her hand pressed hard onto her chest, enduring the pain that was already long striking into her senses. Panting over her short breath when her eyes begin shifting color from sierra blue to crimson red.
It was when the opposite of her began to suppress her inner instinct. The blood-thirsty creature lurking within her soul retaliated for a slice of flesh. A demon who residual inside her body since the day she was born. Cynthia doesn't want to let anyone from this ground know her secret, including Rin, who shares the same kind as her.

"I won't let you come out so easily," she said while keeping her pace in fighting off the retaliation of her inner demon.
Cynthia has been hit by the dumbfounded fact that the demon awakening period has been shortened. Dragging her feet just to bet her luck to endure the shifting phase. She only allows the demon to take over her body when she has arrived at a particular place within this town. A place where no human shall be traced and only let her other self kill an animal as a feast for her hunger.
She has attained this dark side of herself since the age of fifteen. The former princess of the demon realm, Yun, was the first who found out her awakening power.
Cynthia had a sudden change of mana flow within her body when she accidentally discovered a method to unlock her restrain. Which was set by her own mother after she left her alone in this reset world.
Her childhood was filled with the void rather than the warmth of a family. She wandered all over the city, hoping to find her parents. But somehow, she can't do much with her restrained abilities caused by the spellbinding.
At first, she took the initiative to remove the bind by force. There wasn't any sign of progress each time she attempted to recite the spell that she learned in some buried building outside of the city they lived in. She keeps trying in a point of circling around with the same answer.
Until one day, she discovered an ancient book filled with dust, and the paper was quite yellow-ish due to its age. No one has an idea about the author who wrote that book. Indicating the spell that binds onto her body was a curse bind instead of a restraining bind.

Cynthia attempts to recite the word written in the book, as it explains it was the only way to allow her dark self to be thrown out from her body. When she learned the truth in that book, her father was the only reason she had to be bound into this restraining spell. Turned out it became a curse bind after it lay dormant on her body for some time.
By the time Yun arrived at the scene. She's already too late to save her niece. The blood-thirsty looking drawn in young Cynthia's face for the first time, the crimson red eye indicated the demon royal blood running inside her body. That was the first time the other-self surfaced onto this world. Running amok destroyed everything within her sight in a purple fire flame emitted through both of her palms.
No one knows how did she end up in this state. Yun only knows that her life force was suppressed by this unanimous dark energy that is not supposed to exist in this world. The only way to save her at that time was to completely banish her dark self, resulting in her memory being lost during her moment of berserk.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

2113, the Earth has finally solved the climate change issue caused by the loss of forests and technology entering a new era. A world of virtual reality is created by a genius scientist in a VRMMORPG game called "BORNEO", taken from the 3rd biggest island in the world famous for it's forest and wildlife. An orphan stumble across the game during military service, not forgetting his roots and experience in the world he starts to create his own legend in the game. He is not alone though, billions of other people are also trying to do the same. This is my first ever novel after so many years as a reader. I hope it would bring the same feeling like the other novels bring to me in this site, I also take inspiration from various novels so you might notice some similarities. Please bear with me during my new journey as an author here. I won't set a schedule for releasing the new chapter yet, I might try to do so after a few chapters in and I started to get the feeling of how things work.
