《Why do I have to be the SI?!》Chapter 6

If somebody ever tells you that sneaking into an area under surveillance by the military is easy, kick there shit in for me. Even with invisibility that shit is fucking tedious not only becuase a mass malfunctioning of there cameras would have them up my ass quicker than a gay with a hard on.
Either way slowly going wall to wall trying to make as little noise as possible and trying to also make sure you don’t run into anybody isn’t fun like the spy thrillers make it out to be. It’s stressful and not at all fun.
It’s how I know I would make a pretty terrible spy or hitman. Anyway I made it to the gate itself easy enough after getting past the patrols of guards going around all the time, and let me tell you the anime didn’t do it justice at a little over 100 ft tall and 80 wide its true beast of a construct.
Oh and that black that you go into to get to the other side? It is fucking creepy I can feel the magics inside barely being held back by the magic of the earth, as if it’s a disease that the planet’s natural mana is trying to fight off.
It’s honestly very unsettling how thin the mana that I've grown so used to of the earth is so thin here. I guess the only way I can think of to explain it is sort of like a blanket. Even with it trying to expel the magic inside me it’s also trying to comfort me as if I was a child and it was my mother.
I can sense it coating everyone with it’s mana as if it was trying to give us protection from hurt. Honestly as I get closer to the gate I feel like I'm about to commit myself to something that will change me. It has me freaked out, but I push on. Nothing will stop me now I have dreams to fulfil and fantasies to play out.
So I step out of the Safety net that is the earth's mana and cross over into the other side of the gate, And see lush fields and forests in the distance I feel the mana in the air swirling around as if playing.

Then I feel the gaze of the so-called Gods that brought the gate to earth in the first place, and I’m disgusted each feels like a leech on the very mana in the air and the life of the things they govern.
I can feel them trying to penetrate at my soul and siphon part of my mana from me, I can feel them trying to plant idea’s in my brain to worship them, to venerate them, and to call out there names in want.
Keyword there being ‘try’ with a quick flex of my magic and will, their probes are incinerated to the root and from what I can tell causing them great pain. Before they can try anything else I gather my mana and from a shield against any divine or magical tampering with my soul and mind.
It’s a good thing I did too because just a second or two later and I would have been hit full bore with their tentacles of power trying to meddle with my soul. Thankfully I put up the barrier in time and all their attempts to break in were for not as each time they got near they would be burned by my power.
Feeling more secure in myself I tell Hadrian to turn off his stealth systems as I bring down my invisibility.
“My lord, my suits detected type-2 divine entities. I recommend you guard your soul from their attempts at manipulating you.” I chuckle before responding. “I have already done so my friend I detected the attempts to touch me the second they tried.”
He Simply bowed his head before responding. “That is good my lord it means you are coming into your power at a decent pace, congratulations.” I nodded before responding, “Well that's for later now that we're here we should leave because while I'm sure you could protect me from a lot I would rather not test it when theres just the two of us.”
He simply bows and waits for my orders as I get to thinking about where we could go now that we don’t have to worry about ending up in area fifty-one to be experimented on. In the end I decide we should first get away from the gate.

So I start walking away from it and into the forest surrounding it, trusting in Hadrian to inform me if any enemies happen to show up and start chasing after us. It was pretty boring for the first two hours of walking. Let me tell you having to walk in a forest with just some tennis shoes and the clothes on your back ain’t fun.
Anyways after the second hour I got used to it and stopped wishing I had brought my boots I was raised in the goddamn country I had done this before I kept telling myself everytime I would slow down.
When hour five came around we found a good spot to sit down for the evening as the sun continued to go down. So I had him start grabbing wood so I could make a fire, and while he was doing that I started practicing my transmutation.
I first grabbed up some dirt out of the ground and started chanting trying to get as much dirt as possible to turn into stone as possible. And for the next hour that's what I did simply trying to become as efficient as possible and lose as little material as possible to the mana currents.
It was around that time that he came back with the wood and created a makeshift campsite and then a pit to put the wood in. So I turned away from my practice in transmuting and created a small fireball and lit the wood on fire giving us a continuous source of light for the time being.
“Hadrian go and gather as much wood as you can. I'm going to summon another of your people and I need material to transmute so he has equipment.” He saluted and ran off to get what I needed.
It didn’t take too long for him to come back with shrunken loads that I started to put in a pile and unshrink one by one. I wanted my newest summon equipped as soon as possible. So for the rest of the night he would gather wood while I would sort it and prepare for the ritual.
Finally as the sun started to come back up and the area and round us was shown to be pretty deforested I started the ritual.
"Alchemie, Transmutation, Tauchenergie und Aufstieg" The first words of the ritual were the same as the last after all such a ritual has to be done right or it could go very bad. But anyways as the magic coalesced and weaved around the wood I started on the next words.
“ Stahl von Ulm und Eisen von Magie und die Zwerge des Berges, und durch den Stahl des Brüllens des Kanons” As the words were said the inside the pile melted into itself and came out looking more and more metallic.
“Matter for Mana, Mana for Matter, erschaffe die Rüstung des Ritters von ulm, die die Kanone das Brüllen in rhythmischen Beats verwendet” The steel that was once a upon a time wood combined First into the outline of of an suit of armor and then Into what looked to be the outline of a rifle.
“Großer Gott Drakevof vom Drachen Gib uns die Rüstung eines wahren Ritters, der die Kanone des Krieges benutzt!” Finally the shape coalesced into the standard armor and gun that Hadrian used, thankfully there seemed to be some ammo set to the side of the armor as well.
As I dropped to the ground I Smiled after all I had done it again, I had turned just some regular wood into the suit of armor that would be worn to protect me and hopefully the nation I would one day build.

An Unbound Soul
When Peter suffers a too-close encounter with a truck, he finds himself reborn in another world. At first glance it is a perfect fantasy land. There's magic to play with, elves singing in the forest and a hyperactive catgirl neighbour. There's even a System that lets him earn skills and level up. But it isn't long before he notices that the world is far too perfect. Just why is everyone so nice? Can Peter accept the alien morality of this world's self-proclaimed protector, or will he seek to overthrow her? Set after the events of A Lonely Dungeon, a few hundred years after the rebirth of civilization, this is a story about an earthling falling into Erryn's new world and the subsequent struggles of himself and Erryn to understand each other. Black Blood (Dropped...)
The multiverse is a big place, and it is also constantly in flux. As such sometimes mistakes occur, impossibilities that should have never come into existence. But are not mistakes more entertaining to watch? When being reincarnated there are some things that you just cant control. Losing most of your memories is not a great start. Pissing off your patron goddess is not a good follow up. Rounding that out with reincarnating as something not exactly… human… Needless to say this guy is in for an interesting life. Others still, have merely inherited the grand legacy of another legendary being, but what they have done with such a legacy would cause their names to be passed on for generations. Rowan is one of the heroes who have ventured beyond the horizon, tempering themselves on a perilous journey all the while and succeeding in attaining strength beyond measure. However, in an unexpected turn of events, this strength caused him to tear open and fall through a hole in the realm he resided in. Now he has ended up in a completely foreign realm, whose inhabitants utilized strange powers that eclipsed his own. Fortune would smile upon him this day, however, as he discovered that they were not hostile, and even offered to teach him their ways.
