With Team Omega officially becoming part of president Leos' anti-virus team, The group has been split into two in order for them to each have a group of 4. At least that's how they described it. Aeris and her group have already left for sector 4 and it was just Alice, Jessenia, Frederick, and the brown-haired leader in a special room inside Omega Corp.

"Wonder what is taking so long?" Wonders the black-haired boy.

"I don't know but..." The red-haired teen looks at her childhood friend who seems like on the verge of breaking up. "They might want to hurry."

"Codes, fight, Bios, Files, fighting fun enemies, Scan, fighting hackers, Purify, fighting hackers..." Those were the words of Richard as he waits impatiently to be sent to whatever sector they are assigned to. If anyone saw this they'll think that the boy has lost his marbles.

"I still do not understand Lady Alice, what do you see in..."

"You know I was wondering, What do you think Aeris and the others are doing?" Said quickly the red-haired girl so her mother's maid doesn't mention "The Question". Not the perfect time to answer it.

"Don't know but whatever it is, It might be important I mean did you see the serious face of their superior?" Said, Frederick. That woman seems to have her fair share of battles against the black hat hackers that have tried to destroy Omega. He wonders if their superior will be as strict as that woman.

Swoosh* well they don't have to wait for long. Out of the door came a young teen girl with short teal hair and sky green eyes.

"Hello everyone♪♪!" Chirped the girl in a very charismatic way.

"Oh, are you our teammate?" Frederick asked. The girl giggled.

"Don't be silly, I'm your superior." Oh, well that makes sense...

"EH?!"

"The name is Nort Anna, as for your teammate she should be walking to the door right about..." The door opened and out came their partner.

"What?"

"Is you!"

"Oh, Hey!" Those were the reactions of Frederick, Alice, and Richard in order of seeing who will help them in their sector before saying the name...

"Lahaska!"

"Hi, guys." Lahaska greeted them. She still felt a bit uneasy about what she did but she was glad that she can make it up to everyone.

"Miss Darcell will help in the scanning of sector 2, she has come a long way."

"Um, What is sector 2?"

"Ah, yes good question Miss Hishikawa! Sector 2 is the Museum, we use sectors in order to know where we need to go, it will take to long to say the name of each level you know." She does have a point.

"So how are scanning sectors like?" The brown-haired boy asked Darcell.

"Is...not that bad, well except the whole your life is in danger if a black hat hacker shows up."

"Have you ever face one?"

"There was this one time when..." Lahaska's story was interrupted by the bubbly cheerful girl.

"Okay let's get this show started." Nort Anna escorted them to a special room this one with 4 cylinders on each corner and in the middle a simple hovering platinum chair. "Get inside." They enter the teleporters. "Get ready because you will enter Omega...Now!"

Landing on The museum they looked around to see that they were a lot of people inside.

"Oh, welcome! Would you like a brochure for today's exhibition?" A maroon haired woman dressed in a safari outfit.

"Er, thank you?" Said the confused brown-haired teen as he took the brochure along with his group.

"So the NPCs are active?"

"That's right Mister Santos, we need to keep them active in order to scan for any bugs in the system. Look at it this way: Suppose you want to catch a thief. You will go to where you suspect he will strike next. It makes sense that there will be people working as normal."

"I guess,"

"In any case, make your way toward the mainframe, you will meet a familiar face there." A familiar face? Could it be their parents? Regardless they listened to Nort Anna and went to the mainframe with the guidance of Lahaska.

"So, where is this familiar face you are talking about Nort Anna? I don't see her anywhere."

"Oh be patient Kurosagi, she will arrive soon. In the meantime why don't you speak with Lahaska." Said their superior in a cheerful tone.

"Be careful Lady Alice." Said Jessenia through the earpiece.

"Don't worry Jessenia."

"So, about what you were going to tell me earlier,"

"Oh yes, Richard I have faced against a black hat hacker before. It was..."

"4 days ago." The teens turn to the voice to reveal the guardian of this sector.

"Javelin Princess..."

"Sammy!" Sammy is a special NPC in charge of protecting the Museum from thieves. There have been special missions that involved her in the story side of the game which gives the question: What is the long red-haired owner doing here?

"Is been a while, hasn't it? Richard Kurosagi, Alice Hishikawa, and Frederick Santos." The lilac eyes greeted them with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" Richard asked.

"I was informed by Nort Anna and The Creator of your arrival. I will be adding you in scanning through my Museum." Explained Sammy. "I am also informed that I must also protect the princess of the Hishikawa clan." At that Alice blushed.

"Um..."

"Is something wrong?" Said the confused owner.

"Alice doesn't like to be called that," Frederick replied.

"Why?"

"Is really embarrassing," Alice told her.

"I see then I will refrain from saying so,"

"I didn't know you were a princess, Alice. Well, I know that your family's ancestors were called that since princess Himehiko..." Lahaska said.

"Please stop!" Alice groaned still with her blush plaster on her dark-skinned face.

"So how do we scan? Do we just look around the place for anything suspicious?" Asked Frederick.

"Yes. However, you all must first get registered in the mainframe otherwise you won't be able to scan." Explained Sammy.

"Make sense," Frederick mentioned understanding the explanation. Using the mainframe with the help of Sammy and Nort Anna, The group got registered. As they did they received a badge similar to those on the NPC crew.

"So...where do we start? Nice badges by the way!" Said the brown-haired teen to the owner while examining his badge that has a T-rex on it.

"Right now you're assigned to the prehistoric exhibition, I will like you to go there and investigate everything," Sammy responded.

"Hmm, I'm in that section too," Lahaska said.

"I have the world war exhibition section. And from the looks of it, Alice has a different one." Frederick said feeling left out as Alice seems to have the exact same badge that Sammy had which is a shield. He assumes that is the medieval ages exhibition.

"I apologize. Do not worry thou You will be partnered with Zoë. She is a very smart person also, don't worry as aside from me she is the only person who knows about this."

"Well, Let's go Lahaska! We have a thief to catch!" The charismatic boy said and the other two teens sighed. He is right thou they must look for anything suspicious.

So there they went Frederick introduced himself to Zoë who seems like a not very talkative girl. Her stoic gray eyes make her seem like someone you will never have a conversation with and it has proven to be correct. The black-haired boy tried everything from jokes to topics that might have interested the blue-haired teen but she simply ignored him and touched the tablets that were on the exhibitions.

"Hey Frederick, how is your end going?" Richard asked him.

"Aside from the silent conversations with my partner. There's nothing." The black-haired boy answered much to his leader's dismay.

"I'm sorry to hear that but Zoë is not very talkative when she is focused on her work," Sammy informed him in an apologetic manner in which he sighed.

"Anyway, how is your side doing?"

"Nothing but keep scanning we might find a bug somewhere. Even if it is a minimal threat we must be ready."

"Sammy is right you two. Oh, and Kurosagi...try to be a bit patient." He sighed.

"Fine." He crossed his arm like a child who didn't receive his toy for his birthday. Lahaska wonders if this was the same teen that defeated her Legendary Piece. She wonders if it was wise to throw it on the lake near the bridge. She shook her head. No! It was the right decision that thing would have taken over her and blind her with nothing but revenge.

"Huh?" The long black-haired teen saw something from the corner of her orange eyes, it looked like some sort of dragonfly but that's kind of impossible. Even if it came from the outside why would...?

"Hey, Lahaska." She looks to see the brown-haired boy staring at her.

"Hmm?"

"You alright?" She blinks before answering.

"Yes, I'm fine."

"Okay. Seriously this is sooo boring! Where is the action?!"

"Didn't Nort Anna said to be patient?" She deadpanned.

"I know, I know but still...!" He really loves to fight inside Omega. That dedication...It reminds her of...

"We're now commencing our tour to the Prehistoric Era." Said one of the NPC employees as he guides a bunch of people to it. A kid is holding hands with his mom before pointing at the big T-rex fossilized structure.

"Mommy! Mommy! Look! It's a big dinosaur." The adult woman chuckles.

"Yes, it is." Roaming around the Fossil was the dragonfly that Lahaska saw a few minutes ago. It was colored pink with a mix of red on its wings. The insect had an insignia on the back. The insignia had a V with a lot of lighting surrounding it. The dragonfly flew on top of the head of the fossilized Rex before buzzing and turning the insignia on its back gold before entering the fossilized Dino.

Richard and Lahaska were looking at the Fossilized T-rex.

"You know...this reminds me of the time my sister and I went to the Museum." The Black-haired teen said and Richard swore he could see a little hint of pain in those words.

"Really?"

"Yes, she would always tell me how the T-Rex dominated the lands during the Prehistoric Era. Thou she felt sorry that he couldn't run even more if it got cloned today it would die in just a matter of days due to the difference in the climate. Even with our technological knowledge, it wouldn't save him or her from its fate."

"I...see." Richard now feels sorry for the fellow. It is sad that something so dangerous couldn't survive in today's future society.

The fossilized T-Rex eyes gleamed for a second unnoticeable to the teens. Richard and Lahaska decided to keep scanning other areas before they heard a scream.

"Guys what's going on?!" asked the black-haired boy when he heard the screams thru the earpiece.

The two teens turned to see the same fossilized dinosaur roar at them while NPC's ran for their lives.

"I think we found a bug." Answered Richard.

The young boy that signaled to the dinosaur earlier started crying because he got separated from his mom. This caught the attention of the creature before this goes to his direction.

"Oh no, you don't!" With his scouter speed, Richard managed to save the boy just in the nick of time otherwise there will be a gruesome death. Even if they are NPCs the brown-haired boy and his companion wouldn't live with themselves if they could have done something to prevent it.

"Dennis!" Said the mother as Richard appeared with the boy. This one cried.

"Mommy!" The two hugged making the boy smiled. However, there was no time to feel accomplished by saving one artificial life.

"You better get outta here. We'll take care of this!"

"Thank You!" With that, the mother and son left for safety. The fossilized T-Rex roared at him as it was showing the brown-haired leader of Omega anger.

"Sorry, buddy! But humans are off the menu. Should I offer you some salad instead?" The dinosaur charged at him before Richard is swept away by Lahaska.

"Thanks!"

"Don't mention it." The two teens look toward their enemy.

"Guess this is a black hat hacker's doing."

"Yeah, but how did he..." That's when Lahaska realized when and what might be controlling the beast. "The dragonfly!" at this Richard raised his eyebrow.

"Dragonfly?" She nodded.

"Yes! When we were scanning I noticed a dragonfly passing by. I thought it was kind of strange that one of them was flying freely."

"Maybe it came from the outside?" Richard tries to justify it but failed.

"Even if it did they don't appear in this sector during summer events. You should know that."

"Guess so. Who do you think sent it here?"

"I don't know but whoever it is...The really wanted to take the first strike." Lahaska flew passed the dinosaur which almost got her smacked by its tail before descending to the floor.

"Richard, Lahaska. Can you hear me?" Nort Anna said through their earpiece.

"Yes."

"It seems that the bug is coming from a rival company. As we speak I am investigating the whereabouts. In the meantime make sure it doesn't go anywhere nor go outside. Sammy and the others are on their way here." Nort Anna seemed serious. Lahaska knew why thou, she must be very focused on finding the culprit.

"Roger!" Answered the black-haired teen.

"Be careful you two." With that communications were off between them.

The T-Rex usually won't be able to run. However, thanks to the bug it could.

"I thought you said they couldn't run!" Richard said using his speed to escape being dino food.

"They can't! The bug must have enhanced its balance and strengthen its legs so it has the ability to do so!" explained Lahaska. Even though it seems unfair, the brown-haired boy won't lie this was awesome! The two decided to use their speed to try and slash the huge legs of the creature but this one seems to have a very thick skin. Lahaska flies up dodging the bites and tail whips of the animal. Using her sword she slashed one of its eyes providing to be effective as it blinded a portion of the creature's vision.

"Take this!" With some rapid moves, the brown-haired teen did some damage to the creature's legs. The creature tries to stomp on him but he vanishes before appearing on the cavemen exhibition.

"Guys! Core Shift: Sniper!" The black-haired teen yells as her sword is replaced by a giant arm cannon that automatically connects to her left arm. She points at the dinosaur in mid-air before unleashing a full barrage of red pellet bullets. This angered the creature who screech deafening the two young cores. The screech was so intense that it created a booming shockwave that sent them flying in a different direction.

"Man that hurt my ears." Said the boy before realizing that the dinosaur was in front of him. "Hehe, hi there." Said the boy nervously before the t-rex screeched. However, and luckily for Richard Kurosagi help arrived just in time courtesy of a yellow arrow that proceeds to shock the revived fossilized dinosaur.

"Just in time." Said a familiar voice.

"Richard!" The boy sees his friends arriving at the scene.

"Guys!"

"Are you alright," Alice asked concerned while helping the boy up.

"Yeah, thanks to you guys. Although, I still have this eerie sound still in my ears." Answered the brown-haired boy. He really is thankful that he got them otherwise...

"The bug is approaching." That was the voice of Frederick's partner Zoë. Lahaska soon re-group with everyone after recovering from the shockwave.

"We can defeat him if we find a way to hit his skull hard enough," Lahaska said.

"You found that out just by just looking at him from the sky?"

"Is not hard to miss. However, it is not going to be easy."

"We will distract him. In the meantime, you and Kurosagi can attack once an opening is created." Sammy told her which they nod in agreement. The t-rex finally shook the shock from Frederick's special Bolt Arrow before screeching at them.

"Alright, then...HERE WE GO!" Using his speed the boy distanced himself from the group while Lahaska did the same on the high ground. The dinosaur knowing how much of a threat the two cores were tried to go after them before a loud gunshot hits it. It turns toward the direction of the shots to see Sammy, Zoë, Alice, and Frederick.

"We're your opponents now." With that the creature charge at them. Alice and Frederick might not be faster than Richard but thanks to their traits they manage to outmaneuver and in the case of Alice outpower the giant dinosaur. From arrows landing its target on different parts of its body to multiple slashes from the guardian's Javelin the bugged dinosaur stood defiant tail whipping Frederick toward a wall, Sammy crashing toward some bones reconstruction of the brontosaurs and Zoë being knockdown toward the ground. Zoë groaned and gasped as she sees the t-rex ready to stomp on her. She closes her eyes awaiting her fate while she heard her boss scream her name. When nothing happened she opens her eyes to see that the leg was stopped by none other than Alice who has used the chain to snare it and now she is trying her best to prevent the A.I. from being flattened.

"Come...On!" The red-haired struggles.

"Zoë move!" that snapped the girl out before listening to her boss. Alice couldn't hold for much longer before realizing the leg that came crashing into the floor.

"That was close."

"Yeah." The two cores have kept their distances from the dinosaur in order to attack as soon as their friends got an opening. Friends...Lahaska never thought that she would think those words.

The T-rex screeched before charging toward the direction of Alice and Frederick who dodge the bite attempt of the dinosaur. Another tail whip hit the two of them before crashing into the wall. Both teens groaned before Alice stops the foot that was coming down on them.

"Guys!" Richard yelled. Alice struggling with the foot heard a familiar buzzing sound. Eventually, her legendary piece glowed before a dark red aura surrounded her.

"That's...!"

"The Rage?!" those were the words of both Sammy and Nort Anna who recognize the so familiar aura.

Alice grunted trying to keep her and Frederick from being squashed before she screams unleashing supernatural strength that resulted in the T-rex falling backward.

"Richard this is our chance!" Lahaska said snapping the brown-haired teen after witnessing their powerhouse easily lifting and overpowering the extinct dinosaur.

"Right!" Richard feels a familiar feeling before. Soon his legendary piece glowed similar to Alice's before he heard the voice.

'It is required to have the Omega Eyes activated before analysis.' His Omega Eyes why? Hmm, how was he able to activate them again? After a few seconds, he remembers. Concentrating the brown-haired teen felt the familiar burning sting before he opened his eyes revealing the eyes of the legendary dragon.

'Analyzing...Analysis complete. Velocity T-rex, An infusion of The veloss bug and a fossilized t-rex. Weakness head where the bug resides an incubates. Proceed to attack with White Dragon Strike Fang followed by another attack.'

"I'm ready!" Richard told Lahaska before his Kris dagger glowed. Lahaska notices his Omega Eyes but quickly focused on the enemy in front of them. She charges her arm-cannon at max capacity.

"Time to sent you back to extinction!"

"White Dragon Strike Fang!" The brown-haired teen yelled as he unleashes a huge white line. Sammy and the others swear they heard the screech of a dragon coming from the attack which was a first for even Alice, Frederick, and even Lahaska. The attack hit its mark creating an opening in the large head of the T-rex. Lahaska sees the bug inside.

"Delta Blaster!" She releases her huge blast that resulted in her recoiling five steps before being caught by Richard. The blast went inside before it obliterates the bug. The dinosaur screeched before it turns back into a fossil or what little remains of it. With sighs of relief, both cores relaxed from this battle.

"That was a thrill ride." Said the boy. If enemies like this are going to occur daily or weekly...This is going to be a very awesome journey to the World Tournament.

"Only you will say that." Replied Lahaska as her arm-cannon does a sound indicating that she disable it.

"Richard, Lahaska!"

"Guys!"

"Good Job you two." Nort Anna congratulates both teen cores. "Of course you four too. Especially you Alice, I must say your strength is incredible compared to the other powerhouses we have." Alice blushed a little before she yawned.

"Yeah, I think I want to take a rest, night, night." The red-haired stumbled before passing out. Richard catches her before she has a painful wake-up call.

"We should check if there are any other bugs. Zoë, tell the staff to close the museum until the inspection is over."

"Yes, Ma'am." Sammy then looks toward the sleeping red-haired who seems to have a pleasant dream from the way she was happily smiling. She should ask her creator about the events that happened today. He might know something about it.

"Question is what was the black hat hacker's intentions by using a bug here? And did it used it on the others?" That got the humans in concern of their friends before Nort Anna calmed them.

"Don't worry! A.V. Gamma has informed me that no bugs were found in their assigned sector."

"That's good to hear," Frederick said.

"Oh yeah, Nort Anna. Do you know about something called veloss?" That confused everyone.

"Er, not that I heard of, Why?"

"Oh, just asking is all!" She seemed very suspicious of him but nevertheless, she shrugs it off and decided to not push for the answer deciding to take a better course of action.

"Well, I may ask the president about it when he returns. In the meantime, I will search for any information about it." She told him. "I will be bringing you guys back."

"Okay." After saying their goodbyes to the guardian and the employees of the museum Team Omega with Lahaska were brought back to earth. Now the question in their minds is who is this veloss the brown-haired leader of theirs mentioned that question was even in the mind of the core of Team Omega.

On Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon, Boulenvard was watching something on his laptop. It was another match this time from last year between Richard and a red-haired boy. The boy's skills seemed to intrigue him. For being so young and the son of Xino he sure is a great player. Some of the young women were fawning over him which he didn't mind at all.

"Brother!" He looks to see a teen who is 14 with the same colored hair as him. His was short thou and he was just dressed in dark blue swimming trunks.

"Yes, my sweet little brother?" Boulenvard said with a caring voice making some girls awed the bond between brothers.

"You have been watching your laptop all day."

"Oh, my apologies but you know that my work is very important...not as important as my little brother of course. So, have you been enjoying yourselves."

"Oh! Yes, we are! Thou I can't wait to face this year's team that will represent France in the OTWT." His brother said excited which Boulenvard notice if the slight sparkles in his brother's blue eyes didn't give it away. Boulenvard chuckled he always been a competitor in a sense he and Kurosagi were alike in that trait.

"Is that so? Very well, I guess a little break from work won't hurt." The older brother said before closing "Your Future" and turning off his laptop before handing it to his butler Gustav and telling him to return it safely to their room. Besides he can be patient as he will arrange a meeting with his old friend. Soon the meeting between the owners of the two most successful games Velocity and Omega will take place.
