- Skeleton used Rush and stunned both Jello and Skely.

- Skeleton slashed Skely.

- Skely blocked it with a sword.

- Jello used hit and finished Skeleton.

- Skeleton dropped a soul essence, a heavy armor, and a shield.

It was Skely's first serious fight. Skely was almost panic and couldn't block the slash. Somehow, he managed to block it with his instinct in a mere second. He couldn't realize that his fighting instinct was already in his soul for a while before he became a Skeleton with a human mindset. He has been shaken the whole time not because of fear but the thrill of fighting again.

Skely was channeling the Soul Essence and didn't notice Jello's orb brighten up a bit after finish devouring. Jello's color turn from Black to Yellow and from Yellow to Black repeatedly. Jello's orb finally stop brightening. Jello became increasingly darken. Jello was shaken a lot. If Skely was conscious at this moment, he will notice that Jello got a small horizontal split in the middle of his body.

After learning new skill, Skely noticed Jello's changes.

"Did you just evolve or something? How do you look much cooler than before?"

Jello moved to a corner and sat there taking a rest. Jello was too exhausted from the evolution. Skely decided to take on the Skeleton's pack alone. Our MC was not that boosted to go against a whole pack. He lured one by one out. Used his Rush-Slash-Back Steb-Slash combo to finish one by one. After finishing each Skeleton, he sat and rest for his HP to completely heal.

After the clear, he didn't gain any other Soul Essence or items. Skely thought maybe it was because the first two monsters he killed was Elite Monsters.

Narrator: His first day in Labyrinth was almost done. Jello was still asleep. Skely picked Jello up and find a corner to sleep. They didn't know what will be waiting for them the next day.
