《Diasori Dynasty: The World's Last Heroes》Chapter 5: The Art Of Laziness

Maybe the gods would have been more generous and sympathetic if I had never disobeyed him and stopped believing in him. As I said before, I wasn't a big christian and I never had been in my whole lifetime but during the last few years of my life I had absolutely no trust in him. It wasn't because I stopped being christian but it was more towards the fact that he had never did anything for me, or I thought.
The things that he did for me can be counted on one hand in one finger and that is giving me a chance to live again and start anew. No matter what happened to me with this lava problem that might become my doom, I will start trusting and believing in god or else he will make my second death even worse. As others say, second chances are second chances and after that there is no more.
He believed in things like this as the world spun around these rules and not around money. The world could be spun in the power of those with higher places in society but even they can't escape these rules given to us by creation itself.
At the current moment I was running like I was just given birth to.
I was counting down in my head prepared to release my planted feet off of the ground using all of the muscles I knew about and even those that I didn't.
One by one the feet lifted off the ground after I turned my body in the direction of the slope and started changing into a dolphin trained for any situation for a water park show.
All muscles prepared by me were beginning their mission. They acted like secret agents doing anything they had to do in order to finish their mission even if they had to get injured or possibly go to sleep and never waking up again to see the morning. There was only anger in my head and nothing more.
I didn't even felt any fear towards the lava coming to kill me.
I started doing a long distance dive that no regular human would attempt but I guess I wasn't a regular human anymore was I? The time once again stopped for me but this time it was different. I was no longer angry but more confident that I would reach the slope without any effort. Well that wasn't completely true because everything I was doing at the moment was using up all of my effort that I had been saving up since I was born.
The distance started shortening but the only thing increasing was how much I effort I was putting into this dive. The wind was currently trying its best to beat me up but even that couldn't stop me. The only things that could stop me at that moment is a weak jump and important muscle dying out on me.
Either that or an unusual thing happening to me which has a pretty high chance in this world.
I'm currently in midair and the only thing I could say was, "Oh shoot". I had jinx myself more than three times since I've died.
Just as I said that, I knew something was wrong. The air seemed to have gotten less breathable and more kill-able. This random luck of mine seemed to have dissipated off into the absence of absolutely nothing.
The jump or dive was almost complete but just before I was about to land I turned my head to the right.
"Holy sh.."
*******
Well things had been getting pretty bad with Chung Fang. He had previously guessed that the punch would have been made before he fell and he was right.
The bad thing was that the punch was made when Fang was almost past the minimum height to get punched to the mountain.
That meant that Chung Fang went too far down and as a result he was hit in the head by the fist. He wasn't mad that he got hit in the head but rather he was just a little pissed off and a little embarrassed.
Just based off of the height and exposure he had from the rest of the town it was almost fully clear that he was seen by someone during this. This was another reason why he choose this way. It was to show others that he was above the rest of them and that he could do things that the rest of them couldn't. Which would have worked, if it did had worked that is.
The impact received from the bat created fist was so powerful. Even a Low-God would have a hard time to block the attack and still manage to stay in the same spot with their feet in the same place as before.
Chung Fang on the other wasn't a Low-God yet as he didn't do his final mission yet but he was a lot more talented and powerful then others the same as him. He reacted as if he also knew that this was going to happen and what he next was probably the smartest thing he did the whole day.
Chung Fang did a half-way back-flip making it so that he would land on his Demon Legs reducing most of the impact that would happen to him the moment he hit the mountain.
The speed that Chung Fang was flying was so fast that he was almost late and potentially break his ankles. It was a good thing that he reacted fast as he barely made it.
Even though he made it there was still consequences. Fang's feet hit the mountain's side and almost immediately there was a giant hole in it. Ten people could have fit in there but the only person there was Chung Fang.
There was clearly many bruises and cuts on him but he acted like there was nothing. Rather all he did was scratch his head and ask the least expected question.
"Why did I fail?" the question asked by Fang was sarcastic but rather it was really serious and in had a lot of confusion mixed into it.
He sounded as if he had expected everything to go right even after all of the things that happened before this current event. There was no hint of sarcasm that be found even if it was inspected by professionals and they took days to research.
Chung Fang got up quite normally and all he did was simply patted the dust off of his clothes. He stretched a little bit as if nothing had happen.
The Demon Legs given to him by the spell was slowly disappearing. The first part to turn back to normal was the bottom of his feet and the deformation of the spell started working its way up. After a few seconds of turning back to regular person, Chung Fang had nothing on the bottom other than the top part of his pants hiding his private part.
Rather than hurrying to find something to cover his exposed legs Chung Fang simply just walked toward the self made exit created when he 'entered' the mountain. With his legs back to normal Chung Fang felt more familiar with it and he could use it in ways that he couldn't before due to all of the spikes and abnormal shapes it had.

Chung Fang stood at the very edge of the hole and using his legs he jumped up. Although it wasn't as high as before with his Demon Legs on, it was still pretty high compared to others. In the midst of jumping, Fang turned his body to the other side causing him to face the mountain and using all of his hand strength Fang managed to get into a position that was perfect for scaling and climbing upwards.
A few moments after his hands were planted, his bare feet also planted itself supporting the hands so it wouldn't all of a sudden release itself from the mountain and make Chung Fang fall to his doom once again.
Scaling wasn't a difficult thing for Chung Fang, that is when the thing he was going to scale straight. The mountain was not only bumpy but it also curved near the top making him have to climb as if he was laying on his bed in order to get to the other side where everything was safe and it was harder to fall and make a human tomato sauce on the ground many meters below.
He started scaling up at the speed of a regular human would take if they could walk on the mountain rather than climbing it.
As he was getting higher, the difficulty was also doing the same as him.
Chung Fang wasn't idiotic and he knew that he needed to do something if he wanted to climb all the way to the top of the mountain and get to his house.
Chung Fang suddenly had a thought to use the counterpart of the {Demon Foot} or the {Demon Hand}. It was very similar to the Demon Foot but instead of being red, it was blue making it more similar to a angel.
The spell increased the grip of the hand and the speed of how fast it was, making the effects almost identical to the counterpart.
As if he became a Cheetah that ran with his hands instead of his legs, the speed took to go upwards wasn't just increased but it was increased dramatically. The length he had in order to reach the top when he used the spell decreased by half in just a few seconds.
Chung Fang was almost at the top but while he was grabbing for the next spot to climb from, his left hand grabbed the spot too hard and that caused it to took out a huge chunk of the mountain making him hang with one hand.
The rock that Chung Fang's right hand was holding onto wasn't a piece that was very firm in place and could stay in the spot forever with all of the weight and force Fang was bringing to it.
A piece of it fell apart forcing Chung Fang to let go. However Chung Fang's reaction and reflex was once again very quick and sharp. He noticed that there was another rock next to the broken one that he could grab onto for the moment so he did.
Everything after that seemed to have slowed down and returned back to normal. Chung Fang grabbed onto a spot suited for the left hand and he started scaling the upside down side of the mountain.
Without thrusting out much effort, Chung Fang was done climbing the mountain and now he was at the top. He turned his head and body around to look at the place he had lived in all of his life. Now that he was going to leave, it felt very weird even for him.
He promised himself that, "I will one day come back here and at least thank them for everything they have done for me, even if it wasn't very much.". He didn't feel sad but rather appreciative towards this place.
After saying that all of his feels went away and he once again turned towards the reason why he came back up here.
His house was definitely the most unique house there was in his town. It was on top of a big tree suitable for a titan and it looked as if it was made up of wood that were painted white for the exterior. It looked like it but it didn't mean it was. Rather the house was build using the bones of various monster and spirit animals he had killed.
It may seem very vicious and inhumane to do but it served a purpose. The bones of monsters and spirit animals if used correctly can boost up ones speed of cultivation. This was one of the reasons why he was many years younger than those who were at the same level as he was. Even the second youngest person on the edge of turning into a Spirit Low-God was twenty-five years old which was seven more years than Chung Fang.
When masters and school teachers received the rumors that was being passed around about how Chung Fang was the most talented student out there, they refused to believe it. They thought in their head that their students and disciple were a lot more talented than Chung Fang but when they heard that he won a tournament consisted of sixteen to nineteen year old at the age of only seven, that was when they were convinced and started believing.
Many schools tried to get him in order to increase the school's reputation but all was refused by the seven year old.
Years have passed and not a single sign of another prodigy with as much talent as Chung Fang ever walked their face on Narvia.
Chung Fang was probably a once in a million years prodigy and that was something no one could disagree to.
Chung Fang released the spell {Demon Hand} so that he could at least open the door and walk in. He was in quite a hurry so he just simply jumped towards his house which wasn't just on the tree but it was on top of the tree.
The view in there was probably the best there was given that it was on the highest spot and it looked down on all of the buildings in the town. The door, just like the rest wasn't made using normal and regular material. Rather it was made using the the tooth of a Gigantor Tiger.
In order to keep the freshness that gave out Yin energy, Chung Fang used many magical herbs and layered the door with it.
The moment Fang landed, he opened the door and began preparing for whatever may happen during his mission. He grabbed potions capable of healing almost anything, items that could get him out of many situations, and he grabbed as many weapon as he could in case he needed it.
There was many items he grabbed from his house but he didn't have to hold any of them. He just simply put it in a storage ring capable of holding ten miles worth of items. He was just about to go back to his master which was about to become his former master before realizing that he had something he forgot.
He jumped out of the tree and landed on the ground. Then he turned around with his right hand aiming at the tree. The tree's root came out by itself as the top of the tree was entering the ring. It warped in the ring rather then just entering. A few moments later and the tree was completely gone leaving holes in the ground indicating that the roots used to be there.
Chung Fang was going to a new place but he didn't want to waste all of the bones and teeth he acquired so he simply just took the house and the tree with him.
The reason why he didn't just take the whole tree while it still had the item was because when he needed the item, he would have to take out the whole tree and put it down somewhere then go in and get the item.
If it was just by itself then Chung Fang could take it out in a mere second rater than having to do all of that. This was also the called the arts of laziness.

This is just one of many, many paths that one might follow in Requiem's gameplay, if it ever becomes a game.
