"John, are you hurt?"
Mrs. Hudson asked. Looked up at Watson with worried eyes.
"I’m fine. What about you?"
"I ... I'm fine," Mrs. Hudson paused a little when asked, but she gave him a smile. Then she looked at the silver-haired young man's body.
"But are you really okay? I saw that man shooting towards you."
Hearing that Watson was shot by a villain, Lestrade, standing next to him, also looked at Watson from head to toe.
"I'm fine."
Watson insisted on the exact words, for they both stopped looking at him. He is not lying. A bullet pierced his side, but he is not human. The doll's self-regenerating mechanism has completely closed the wound.
And the fact that Mrs. Hudson and Inspector Lestrade did not see the blood likely to stain the shirt. Probably because of that moment, a bullet passed through the inner shirt. As for the coat he wore was not hit by bullets. That coincidence protected Watson from questions that could not be answered, why is the shirt stained with blood, but the skin has no wound.
But the secret does not exist in the world.
"That guy ... didn't blink his eyes once. Who is he?"
A whisper that no one could hear in the corner of the shadows.
"I just met someone who could not read for the first time. Well ... interesting. A little bit."
………………………………………………………
"Mrs. Hudson, you should sit and rest there. "
Watson pointed to the chair he had waited for before the bank robbery.
"But I'm fine ..."
Green eyes looked down at the householder woman, who said it was okay. But the face that always has a smile is pale. He also noticed before Mrs. Hudson asked him if he hurt, her hands kept shaking.

"Why aren't humans telling the truth?" Watson looked into Mrs. Hudson's eyes.
"What is the reason for hiding?"
"Eh?"
"Even though your face is pale, your breathing is short of breath, how you hold both your hands at chest level shows that you are scared. And also making strange movements. There must be a back injury or bruising somewhere. Maybe because when you hit me just now? With all this, why do you still say it's fine?" Watson expressionless said.
Mrs. Hudson stared at the green eyes for several seconds. Since the silver-haired young man became a new member of the house, she had just heard him say something like this for the first time.
Watson usually nodded his head to do whatever she asked him to help without complaining. As well as not expressing any comments when she made a talk, he will compose the manners too perfectly.
"Heh. I'm so glad, it feels like I got to know you better," Mrs. Hudson smiled at the man's puzzled expression. She had always thought that Watson was wearing such a gentleman's mask so much that she couldn't even feel the heart inside.
"Sorry, I'm still scared. But I wasn't lying or anything when I said, 'I'm fine' is really my feeling, even though I'm still shocked. But I can still do it and I don't want you to worry. Well, John had a tough time than me."
Mrs. Hudson loosened her clenched grip and reached out to Watson's silver hair before gently stroking it.
"Thank you for helping John. You are so brave."
Watson thinks that human beings are complicated and difficult to understand. Usually, lying is a bad thing. But humans tell lies without any malicious intent, like Mrs. Hudson. She lied for reasons that she didn't want him to worry.

And Holmes ...
Watson wasn't quite sure of the reason, but he must have had his own reasons. Watson hoped so.
"But next time, don't do this kind of danger again. John, invade and takes a gun like that. I'm so scared, you know?" Mrs. Hudson furrowed her brow, scold him.
Watson simply stood still, not responding, making Mrs. Hudson even more frowned upon, telling him to promise not to do a dangerous thing again. But at that moment, Watson sensed the gaze directed towards him.
Watson suddenly turned in that direction. The green eyes gazed like a hunting dog but only saw Lestrade, Scotland Yard, and the bank people.
No one made eye contact with him. In the blink of his turn, that gaze disappeared ...

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.
