Bang! Bang!
"This is a stick-up! Everyone, get down!"
"If you don't want to die. Do as we say!"
The gunshots and screams of the bank robbers, loud like a storm blows spread panic and screams to all customers. The customers shuddered, lay down on the floor as ordered; no one dares to look up. But fear did not spread to Watson, including a man wearing a hat that drops coins.
Watson watched the man slowly kneel down in a regular expression, not trembling despite being at the gun pointed. If the hat didn't cover his face, Watson thought that the man would clearly show an annoyed look to the robbers.
"Hey! Hurry get down, don't you see my gun !?!"
At that moment, a robber hit a gun at Watson. Green eyes stared at the man who hit the gun on his shoulder, as well as the other two nearby. With Watson's ability, he put the three of them on the floor in a blink of an eye. But because there are still two other robbers standing in the crowd near Mrs. Hudson.
"Hey! What are you looking for? Didn't you hear what I said?!?!"
The robber pointed a gun at Watson's head. And despite being so far apart, Watson could clearly hear a woman whistling, calling his name 'John', the name Holmes had given. And there was only one woman who called him by that name.
... This is not the time to do anything rash ...
Watson concludes to himself as he crouches to the ground. If its Holmes, he would probably assess the situation and move without being affected by the innocent people.
After a group of bank robbers forcibly brought customers and employees together in one place. Three men forced the bank manager to open the safe. The remaining two were keepers.
Green eyes stared at the group of robbers get money bags from the safe inside. If he had now taken down the two robbers guarding Mrs. Hudson and all the hostages would be safe. But the manager inside was still at a point where Watson was unaware, possibly killed by the robber.

"It's time ... Scot ... has arrived"
The hat man mumbled. Watson focused on his superhuman hearing. He sensed the human presence surrounding the bank's doorways.
"Listen up. The robber's group !!!"
The harsh shout from the outside made a change within the bank. The eyes of the crouched person were full of hope. While a group of robbers gathered to exchange their gaze with a panic expression
"Scotland Yard already surrounded here. Surrender yourself."
The words were like lightning in the middle of a robbers' head.
"What should we do?"
Two of the five robbers lowered their guns. But the other two showed opposition. The one who appears to be the leader or the coolest, gazing his eyes on customers and employees.
"Do not panic. We have a hostage. The Scotland Yard did not dare to invade. At least in these five or ten minutes."
The man spoke harshly and walked towards the crouching crowd. He looked down at the trembling eyes of those people. And grabbed the delicate arm of a woman and pulled her up.
Watson opened his eyes as the woman who was pulled by her arms to stand was Mrs. Hudson.
"Ouch, please, Mister, can you let me go? I'm old."
"What did you say?" The man frowned and looked at the woman saying she was old. He thought he was older than this little girl. Then he turned towards the group,
"You guys chose the weak ones."
Before there were more hostages, He has to help Mrs. Hudson out. Watson clenched his fist in a ready position. Thinking about the location and order in which to take down the five robbers, suddenly ...
"If you want to help a woman, first take out the gunman on the left. He was young, easily panicked. If you take down the boss first. the boy might pull his trigger." The man in the hat whispered as if he knew what Watson was going to do. "As for the leader, he has a problem with the right knee. Stomping hard at once, then he down. As for the others ... ah quit. I hate long talking."

Black eyes turned to meet Watson. Then the man in the hat turned to the other side, sighing as if he was tired of having to move his mouth. Watson kept his doubts and decided to pounce on the person standing to the left as told.
"Aargh!"
His high voice confirmed the hat-wearing man's words that this guy was still an easily scared boy—the next second, with a single kick to the right knee. The man in the lead cried out, released Mrs. Hudson and fell to the ground with eyes of extreme pain.
"John!"
Mrs. Hudson breaks away from the arrest of the assailant and dash on Watson. But the other robber closer reached out to grab the woman's collar. Moving faster than a human, Watson was able to pull Mrs. Hudson into his arms first.
"Ouch!" Cried Hudson as soon as she slammed into Watson's chest.
"Watch out!"
Watson hurriedly pulled her behind himself, same second as the sound of a gun in the hand of another robber.
Bang!!!
The bullet grazed his left flank. Watson, who showed no signs of bleeding, rushed forward swipe the gun's barrel that is about to pull the trigger.
Bang!!!
The sound of a gun roar merged with the sound of a person knockdown. Watson strangled one of the villains, slashing his elbow at the last one. In the blink of an eye, Scotland Yard had come in because of gun sound.
The leader was the guy Watson, including Mrs. Hudson, known too well.
"YOU !!!"
Scotland Yard team leader Inspector Lestrade glared at Watson, then the struggling bank robber in Watson's hands.
"Release him !!!" He shouts.
Scotland Yard took control of the five bank robbers. Take care of including questioning dozens of customers and employees who are panicking.
Inspector Lestrade frowned and stared at the calm face of the silver-haired man who would normally be regarded as a hero. The man deals with five robbers in arms alone and bare hand, saving all the hostages, so no one was injured or killed. Able to resolve the whole situation in a very short time.
In other words, beat every Scotland Yard ... but that's not the point.
"You and I would never run into each other in a theater or a restaurant," Lestrade be sarcastic.
"Holmes once said you weren't interested in the theatre. Your patience is too short to sit still for a long time," Watson flat replied. Green eyes turned to look at a group of chaotic passers-by within the bank.
"I don't mean like ... What is Holmes gossiping me? Why do I have to be said lack of patience by that investigated madman? Even though that guy loves research in the wildest way ... err whatever!"
Lestrade slams the sound. Before pretending to cough in order to calm down and go back to the point,
"Since you live with Holmes, the villains in the case that you caught were freaked scared of you. They say you are a monster or a devil. To be said, how on earth you learn to fight like that. Where did that move come from? Hey, are you even listening?"
"No."
Watson turned to answer after he had searched until he was sure. The mysterious hat man had disappeared from the bank. Even though Scotland Yard should have detained people inside for questioning, the man in the hat was no longer there. The man's words that he knew the masked robbers was a child or injured his knee—a man who knows what people don't. There were also black eyes and black hair hidden under the hat. Those things ...
"... Really like Holmes."

Advent of the Mindfire Mage: A Challenger's Return Story
Updates MWF, 6PM EST! Not so long ago, a story was posted on Webnovel, one that fired my imagination unlike almost anything before or since. It was known as The Challenger's Return: Rebirth of the Rainbow Mage. However, 150 chapters in, the author NightWind, who I'd personally interacted with and begun to consider a true friend, vanished from the internet without a trace. And so, I have acted upon my fervent desire to pick up his torch, to refuse to let his world that stirred such passion in me die. Read below about my own take on The Challenger's Return. Was Lheticus summoned to the Tower by chance, or by choice? Either way, with the new power he wins, he won't hesitate to burn anyone who seeks to keep him from his true love to cinders, and with a unique ability of the highest potential, he may just succeed, but he's just as likely to burn himself down. And as it turns out, the latter case may be woven into his very destiny...can that destiny be changed? And if it is, what will be the repercussions for the Tower? (You may want to read a fair amount of the original Challenger's Return before starting this, as, particularly in the early chapters, many things that are laid out in it are glossed over in this story.)
