Chapter 6
The party entered the room. The room had 8 pillars in total. One in each corner and one at the corners outside of the sarcophagus. The walls were painted with Depictions of the gods of Egypt. The pillars had hieroglyphs all over, the roof of the tomb was white marbled and the floor a contrasting black.
As the last party member entered the room, a door rose from the ground closing of the entrance. The lid on the sarcophagus slowly cracked open. A mummy wielding a staff rose from the sarcophagus and looked at the party.
“Why have you disturbed my rest!?” James smirked towards the mummy. “I just want your staff, nothing more.” The mummy looked at his staff and shot a bolt of lightning at James in his rage. Yan moved in front of James deflecting the attack towards the ground with her shield. Ruo started firing arrows at the mummy while Yin chanted her fireball spell. Yue move to the back where she was out of the way and able to heal her party members.
James rushed forward. As he got in range, he slashed at the mummy, the sword hitting across its chest. The mummy started chanting and summoned three skeleton warriors. “Ruo take care of the skeletons. Yan protect Yue.” James gave orders while he was dealing with the Monster. After a few seconds the mummy’s chant started again. The lighting struck at random throughout the room. James was struck once but was immediately healed by Yue.
After Ruo disposed of the skeletons, she attacked the mummy again. The mummy pointed his finger at Ruo and a white circle emerged from around her feet, sending lighting strikes at her. Rue tried to move away from the circle but it kept following her, it was a skill that could not be evaded. Yue healed Ruo the moment the lighting stopped. Their party fought the mummy for little under 3 minutes before it came crashing down. James went and picked up the staff and a small crystal that seemed to be of better quality from the ones they received from the lesser monsters before. A string of system notifications appeared.

[System Notice: You have cleared The Tomb of Ramies, you are the new owner of the dungeon.]
[System Notice: You have picked up the Quest Item]
The door that closed when they entered the room slowly opened. James and the party made their way back to the underground villages.
James unsummoned the beasts and went to the crystal shop to sell the crystals they have gathered. James moved to the shop’s counter. The NPC behind looked up. When he saw that James was part of the undead, he was shocked. “Can... Can I help you sir?” James put down the crystals on the table. “I want to sell all of these crystals.” The NPC looked at the crystals taking the small pure crystal and putting it to aside. He started counting the cloudy crystals. “Sir there are 82 cloudy crystals and 1 pure crystal. The cloudy ones are worth a total of 4 Silver and 10 coppers. The pure crystal is worth 2 silver.” James nodded, took the money and left for the guild.
As soon as James entered the guild he went to his office. He asked one of the students to call both the Headmaster and Sonja. while he was waiting for them, he opened the guild administration screen. Then he selected the Guild Dungeon tab, {Tomb of Ramies} and then settings.
[System Notice: Do you want to set up the dungeon?] “Yes”
[System Notice: Please select which parties can enter the dungeon.] “All Parties”
[System Notice: Do you want to charge a toll for entering the dungeon?] “Yes”
[System Notice: Please state the amount.] “10 coppers per party”
After setting up the dungeon, he closed the dungeon tab and opened the Guild Upgrade tab. James looked at the requirements for the guild to upgrade to level 2.

Guild Upgrade Requirements:
10 000 Wood, 10 000 Stone, 10 000 Iron and 25 gold.
James looked at the amount that was still left in the guild’s treasury. 98 Gold 50 Silver. James stood up from behind his desk walked to one of the Public Service offices and asked a student to find out what the wood, stone and iron costs at the moment.
After a short while Sonja, the Headmaster and the student entered the room. James asked Sonja and the Headmaster to take seats opposite to him. “Did you get the prices I asked for?” “Yes, my lord, Wood- 2 coppers, Stone- 5 coppers and iron- 10 coppers, per unit respectively” James thanked the student who then left the office and went back to her workstation.
James made a note regarding the details, then turned his attention to Sonja and the Headmaster. “Headmaster I need you to log out and ask the next group of players to be ready to enter the game, but I need the entire group to be combatants except for five spots. Also ask Crystal and 4 players with no current Profession to enter the game.”
“Sonja, I need you to go and buy us 10 000 wood, 10 000 Stone and 10 000 iron and send it to the Warehouse.”
“James why are we upgrading our guild. Don’t you think it’s a little early?” James shook his head and told them about the guild he saw at the foot of the mountain. James explained that he wanted to get rid of the guild before they become a problem.
“How could they be a danger to us? We are on top off the mountain, so they might become our allies.” “No Sonja, the longer we let them grow, the stronger they get. You don’t leave a Devil on your doorstep.” Sonja was not happy about the war James was planning on starting, she stood up and asked if she could be excused to go buy the resources James asked for.
“James, why do I get the feeling that everything you do is to start a war with the other guilds.” James thought about how to respond. “The problem with games is that the strong eat the weak. If we let another Guild become stronger, they will sooner or later eat us. I would rather be the predator than the prey.”
The Headmaster thought about what he said. “I understand, I will talk to Sonja and explain to her your thoughts.” She stood up and left the office.
I can’t wait for my sister to enter the game, James thought to himself.

The world, under the guide of the System, was prospering. The Dungeons gifted untold riches to those brave enough to challenge them, and the System watched and helped those who were willing to complete its Quests. But not Charles. Spanning entire planes and worlds. And yet, he only saw what he wanted to see. For a while, it worked. Slowly, but inevitably, it became impossible. The threat was too big to ignore, the evidence too strong. He was just a pawn in a game so large that it was impossible to comprehend. At its center, the System. The System was not what it seemed. It was a tyrant, or maybe just a tool created by someone or something so powerful that it could control entire worlds. And it had declared him its enemy.
