《Svails: Chains of Nebulas》Chapter 6: The girl with bright blue hair

Team Seiryoku formed, A new friend met, and Siyo attempting to conquer her unwillingness to hurt others. While all of this was happening something else was stirring behind the scenes. About 2 days before the formation of team Seiryoku, a girl with bright blue hair commenced on a mission of her own. The girl walks through what looks like the rafters at the top of a building and thinks to herself. "If no one is going to try to save her then I will! Useless hunters!". She continues walking down the pathway and is sure to keep herself quiet as to not disclose her location, suddenly she hears voices from below her. Seeing a girl tied in chains to a wall, and a woman dressed in an outfit that resembles something similar to what a biker would wear. Peaking down to watch the confrontation the girl notices a gauntlet on the older woman's arm.
"So, have you gotten over the fact your friend is not coming back? She left you to die here, by the time anybody can arrive to help you, you are going to be gone from this place."
"Sagamie will come back! She wouldn't leave me like that, she only left to get help and disclose your plans that's it!"
"Yet here you are a day later, chained to a wall with no help in sight. I don't know what you would call that, but to me that is a clear sign of abandonment!" The woman laughs maniacally.
"Whatever, why don't you just shut up about shit you don't understand. You're just a filthy rogue what do you know about love and friendship!?"
The rogue woman rushes towards the girl in chains and punches at full speed to the left side of her head, just barely missing her. As the girl keeps a stern expression, the woman slowly cuts up her leg with a small sword in her right hand.
"Your friend, Sagamie was it? She's the one with the blue hair and brown eyes? My men spotted her leaving the hunter base quite upset. I wonder if they bothered to believe a girl of her age?" The woman smiles.
As the girl's expression begins to fade, she suddenly realizes that maybe Sagamie won't be coming back to save her. In that moment two other rogue soldiers come through the door immediately saluting with their right hands to their forheads.
"Captain Exceilot! We have a report!"
"It's your lucky day girl, and I was just about to get to the fun part."
The woman stabs a knife directly into the leg of the girl in chains causing her to scream in pain and sob as she tries to hold it back. As the woman leaves she turns back for a moment and utters "Oh, and it's not just Rogue scum, it's captain to you, Marigold Jackstagger!". The doors close and Marigold continues to breath heavily as a knife sticks out of her left leg. Having seen everything as it happend the girl in the rafters jumps down to confront Marigold.

"Marigold! Let me get that! Are you okay? I'm sorry I'm late!"
"Sagamie!? I knew you would come back, I just knew it! Why didn't you bring anyone with you, what about the backup?!"
"Those idiots wanted me to wait so they could confirm my statment. I am guessing it's because they see me as nothing more than a shitty child! If those bastards wont help you then I am going too so help me!"
Sagamie grips the knife in Marigold's leg and tells her to bite down on a piece of her dress as she pulls it out in a flash. Marigold holds back a scream and Sagamie cuts off a piece of her own dress to patch up the wound temporarily till they can get a real bandage for it. With the constant fear in the back of her mind that Exceilot might come charging right back through the door at any moment, Sagamie asks Marigold if she has any idea if there is a key to her chains anywhere in the room.
"I don't think so, as far as I saw, Exceilot took the key when she locked them in place."
"Alright then I've got a plan! Don't worry Marigold"
Sagamie pulls back her sleeve to reveal a gauntlet with patterns on it that look similar to waves of water. Sagamie closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, and activates her gauntlet. As the gauntlet activates it opens up causing a blue light to flow out of the left and right of it. "If there isn't a key then I'll blow them away!" Sagamie shouts as she summons waves of water from the palm of her right hand.
"Um, Sagamie?! What do you expect to do with water?!"
"Just watch!"
Sagamie holds the water she has summoned in place after gathering it all into one giant orb. Marigold notices the water start to spin faster and faster until it's so fast it's hard to even notice it's spinning. She realizes in this moment what Sagamie is trying to do and closes her eyes to brace for a big impact. Sagamie fires the orb from her palm and it begins to fly towards the chains holding Marigold at an immense speed. Marigold opens her eyes finding herself confused as she hasn't felt even the tiniest impact from the water attack Sagamie produced. The two both become shocked as the water attack she fired sits floating inches from the chains and does not appear to be moving.
"H-How can this be?! It shouldn't be floating there it should have connected!"
Marigold glances behind Sagamie and notices Exceilot standing at the door way with the gauntlet on her arm activated, producing a red mist from it's left and right open segments. Sagamie turns around and gets a better look at Exceilot then she had from the rafters. Exceilot's bright yellow eyes strike fear into Sagamie as she falls backwards onto her butt, her hair, Black with a red shade to it, and tied in pig tails.
"A daring rescue by the girl of interest! Welcome back Sagamie! So nice to see you again!"

"Let Marigold go! I won't be leaving without a fight this time I swear it!"
"Then I'm afraid you have chosen death little one, I wont be letting her go!"
Exceilot drops her gauntlet ability and suddenly the water bubble that was floating in place falls to the floor like a water droplet from a sink. Sagamie activates her gauntlet once more, summoning much more water than the first time. Exceilot follows up by activating her gauntlet and immediatly holding the water Sagamie summoned in place.
"Don't Sagamie! I'm not worth it! Run!"
"Don't worry Marigold! I am not leaving you again! Never again!" Sagamie screams loudly with determination to save her friend.
Back in present day, Team Seiryoku has just been formed and the team begin to celebrate the teams creation. "Hey Migro you should like totally have a sup of this!" Ren says to Migro, holding up a glass of alchohol. Migro declines the offer given by Ren knowing full well he is drunk and that someone underage like him shouldn't be drinking. Meanwhile out on the balcony, Angel and Siyo are having a talk.
"So, How does it feel to finally be what you have always wanted to be? It's everything you wanted it to be right?"
"Well it's deffinantly amazing, but I didn't become a Svail Hunter to have fun. I did it to help people, and what's amazing is I can't even do that apparently" Siyo clenches her fist in frusteration.
"Listen Siyo, I know you are still upset about that market experience, it's written all over your face...It can't be helped though! You need to try believing in yourself and forget about what happend! If you stay so worked up about it, you are just going to end up being depressed every day of your life! I believe in your success as a hunter, me and my team were given a job this morning, it's to find a missing girl. The mother is terrified, but I feel like you need another chance to prove to not just this organization, but also yourself, that you have what it takes to be a hunter!"
"What are you saying?"
"I'm saying take the job you dumb idiot!"
"Me? B-but I'm not a combat unit, I'm a recon!"
"Again, You dumb idiot! It's because you're a recon unit! Think about it! What better person to find a missing girl then someone who's job is to scan the area!"
Siyo begins to tear up and hugs Angel thanking her with every ounce of her heart, Angel laughs and puts her hands around Siyo telling herself Siyo will become a great hunter and smiles.
"Okay listen up Siyo. The girl we are looking for is 14 years old. she has long bright blue hair and brown eyes, her name is Sagamie Lilfolt. It would be good to note that it is believed that another girl has gone missing along with her. This girls name is Marigold Jackstagger, but because this girl has no parents this has yet to be confirmed. Sagamie carries a gauntlet on her right arm that has the ability to create water from thin air, she can even control it. The gauntlet has a wavy design to it, similar to that of waves of water. That is all we know on her appearance."
Siyo thanks Angel for the information and they both head back inside to notify Siyo's team of the new mission they have acquired. Siyo stands up on a desk to get everyone's attention and gives her first order to Team Seiryoku. "Listen up everybody! Angel has handed us an important job! We are to locate two missing girls, Sagamie Lilfolt, and Marigold Jackstagger!" Siyo says with a serious face as she wants her team to take this job as seriously as possible.
"Sounds serious, what do these girls look like?" Wendy says with concern.
"Well, Sagamie has long blue hair and brown eyes and she carries a gauntlet, as for Marigold...Actually, you never told me what she looks like Angel."
"Oh yeah, sorry about that. Not much is known about her, but she has long blonde hair and blue eyes, that is about all we know. There wasn't many people who could give us a clear description of her"
Angel asks her team to trust in her choice to hand over their new job to Siyo's team. Ren lays passed out on the floor from being drunk and Yui sits against the wall sleeping as well. Siyo hugs Migro with excitment telling him she can't wait to start her actual first job. Angel suggests that the team start in the market as that is where the last sighting of Sagamie Lilfolt was recorded.
"It might help you to ask the librarian as he was the one to report the sighting. I'm sorry but that is about all we have to go on at the moment."
"That is alright! That is about all the information we are gonna need! Thanks Angel!"
"No problem!"
Siyo and her team head out and while running down the hall it occurs to Siyo she completly forgot to ask what both her teammates jobs were and she feels bad for completely forgetting to ask Migro. Siyo proceeds to ask Migro and Wendy what their job assignments were.
"This job actually suits me well I'm a recon unit! Not that you gave me time to explain that Siyo"
"Wait huh?! Really!? So am I, but I didn't see you at the building?"
"You are probably in the east tower, I'm in the west"
"I see! Makes much more sense now. What about you Wendy?"
"U-Um well...I...Um, I'm a battle unit!"
"Really?! That's awesome Wendy!"
"Y-You really think so?!"
"You bet!"
The group proceed to the market place but little do they know the rest of the day was not going to play out the way they thought it was. True despair was right around the corner for not only Team Seiryoku but also both Sagamie Lilfolt, and Marigold Jackstagger. The most deadly battle to hit Ryke in years was just around the corner.
