Two weeks later.

My teachings have become far. People in the tribe have come to know the situation outside of this place. They are even planning to make their first contact with the north. They are planning to bring their culture there.

It is not going to work but they might get to meet them. It depends more on the north tribe than fire nation.

As for waterbending training, I think the results should show it all. Katara could create few meters tall waves or more closely and properly said tsunami.

I do not think it is because she is suddenly stronger than in the show. I think she is simply stronger in a home than in strange lands. Even more so since we are in the south. This world is a globe so the way how water moves is different from the north. By learning in the north might have caused her to be weaker than she could have been. That allowed her to use strong waterbending in the northern parts of the journey.

As for Sokka, we became good friends. He is the closest person to be my best friend. I might have become his best friend too. It might be because he was not frozen in a week. He might have conditioned himself by thinking my presence keeps bad things happening to him. He is not wrong but still.

My and Oki´s time here has come to an end. Tomorrow we leave this place and I doubt I will come here for years. I hope the harms of war will never come here. At least now they can protect themselves more than just physically. I am hoping to see a good future when I come next time here.

(The most likely. I do not see that as something impossible. There has been a waterbending prisoner who managed to escape prison. The prisoner´s guard said he could not control his movements which allowed the prisoner to escape from prison. Even bigger prove is the date of escape was full moon night. You could not meet any better time to try it. I had read a book in a certain library in earth kingdom which told about a few similar techniques. The thing you were talking about was called “why do you hit yourself”. Other was bonebending. Bonebending is way more dangerous than that human puppet technique. I do not like the name “why do you hit yourself”. It kind of gives a childish feel to the technique. Bonebending is the only known bending technique that is banned. People do not know about it. I only came to know about it from a source before it was banned. What I found out terrified me.) Shamo

(There has only been one time of bone bending and the whole earthbending school was destroyed. The whole place was covered by bone which most likely was from teeth. They grow out of control. Very painful no matter how you look at it. The danger of these two techniques is there can not be controlled by those how can not bend them. Just think about a person how can grow their opponents' teeth which causes their mouth to be cut off and used against them after it. They might even use it to cut a person in half without they could do anything against it.) Shamo

(Please do not go against it too far. I had taught the limitations of waterbending healing abilities. I believe the greatest healers have the best capabilities to be blood benders.) Shamo

(That is just the name I made for “why do you hit yourself”. The meaning behind my word is healer can manipulate water in the blood to heal the victim. Blood bending does the same but much larger scale. As for bone benders they can use bones to heal too. I was nervous at first but I managed to notice earthbenders do bonebend in a light manner daily. We can heal naturally way faster than other nations. The reason behind this is blood is made in bones. Waterbender can use blood inside but not recreate if the victim does not have enough blood inside. This has always been a limitation to healers. Earthbenders could manage almost all the shortcomings of water healing techniques. Sadly it is impossible since it is illegal. Not like I am against the idea but it is way more dangerous to train than any other technique.) Shamo

(That prisoner was from here but I have not seen that person. I assume that person found happiness somewhere else or she has some other plan. I believe you should know about this since this is only a waterbending technique which is only with the southern tribe. It might not be something good but like all the power it does not matter what kind of technique it is but how you use it.) Shamo

(My other reason is an explanation if I lose control of my powers then you can explain what happened. I have chosen. I will only use these techniques as healing. Depending on the situation I might use it to heal others but only if bone bending is the only thing that can help. I have banned this technique if waterbending can be used for it. That was my largest reason for finding a waterbending to see the limitations of water healing.) Shamo

(South pole spirit portal. I am going to see if the Avatar is still alive. I highly assume he does exist. I am going to make sure. Just tell others I will not arrive tonight. I have to go meet someone way more south than here. I will arrive by the time we go away.) Shamo

I left her since I felt I gave her enough answers. She can figure out rest easily. What I am going to meet is Vatu or at least try to do.

I have not gone to the spirit world before. I am going to take advantage of the solstice.

At the current time, Vatu should not be able to manipulate others to a huge degree. I have no plans to do anything with him but I should take advantage of this situation.

It was the middle of the night I arrived at the portal at the beginning of the solstice. At least I can not enter. That proves that Avatar has not died in ice. I doubt I could change that much.

I started to meditate. I have done that many times but without any results. At least I rarely tried to do anything with it. I just made habit of it to calm me down.

This time though I started to address him while I did it.

(Reason behind this is that I can make a stop to it. The plan of your victory was full of many incorporated aspects. Your plan has many weak spots which of few I have made preparations for already. Just letting the Avatar know will cause your release to be postponed. Me dying here would not stop it. Furthermore, you do not know how did it be. You had many allies but many did betray you. Our talk came to standstill. I had read other fanfictions of avatar and few of them had Vatu's part in it. I came to understand he could be reasonable if you find something that interests him. I am sure my advice will be rejected but that is my plan. By befriending Avatar all my problems would go away but that will never happen.

My plan is to show I am hard to bargain. I know what Vatu wants but he does not know what I want. I am planning on keeping things this way.

(I am making my counter offer. Help me to escape and I will not allow anything bad to happen until harmonic conversion. I do not need to bother what I might do until then. By taking this deal all conflict and suffering would come to an end. War would end. All wrongdoing would be revealed and forgiven. This would make time for cooperation which would help everyone fight against him.

The largest problem is unpredictability. No story tells about a world where nothing bad happens. Mainly because it would not be interesting to read but also because it is something which could not happen with the human world.
