A week has passed since the incident with the knight.
Roan simply forgave the knight and mentioned he didn't have to take his life for such a petty reason, though within him was a crying self since the hover board was a limited edition and he recently just got the hover board for less than a month.
The knight though, was so grateful that he might want to pledge his fealty to them if only he wasn't loyal to the king and the kingdom. They knew that an object from another world was equivalent to a national treasure.
The reason why the hover board got damaged, was when they were summoned, a flash of light blinded the room for a moment losing visibility and the hover board flew straight near the throne. The knight saw an object moving and reflexively slash his sword to protect his king, the princess and his comrades. And the result was a slashed device.
....
The party stayed in the castle for the whole week and was not allowed to go outside. They were told to stay for a while to be taught of the common knowledge and to train to how to feel the mana within them.
Even though the party was curious of the place, they have to comply on learning first. Turstin himself will be the teacher for their mana training.
The whole training was boring according to Roan. They have given elemental gems the size of a baseball and instructed to feel the elements within. Bathe in a spell circle with mana circulating like a small whirlwind, to accelerate their mana sensing. And to learn the simplest runic circles even though they still can't understand the characters of their language.
At the lounge within the castle. The party was taking a break after training the whole afternoon. Food and tea, with an additional of coffee, were prepared on the round table.
"Sheesh, we've been repeating this the whole week. This is so boring I thought we can learn them easily. And here I thought we can learn than language instantly with this stones" Roan complained about the language. While throwing the stone in the air from time to time.
"Mr. Turstin did say they only translate spoken words, not the letters of their language." Amelia reminded Roan.
"The old man already mentioned it. The gemstones were enchanted by scholars that knew the common languages of this continent. since they don't know our language, they can't enchant our language on the stones. So this was given to us." Tristan explained while waving the stones to them.
"Yeah, I do find it strange that we had to hold them at first. At the beginning, I thought 'Isn't it better if they had just held this stones the first time we been summoned?' now I understand now, that we can only use this since this translate their word to ours, and not the other way around." Fia said while she was playing with the stones.

"Though this kinda binds us all. Without this, we might not be able to live normally here unless we learn the common language first" Raze said to the party, 'Though this doesn't apply to me'. He felt really bad since he has a head start among them.
""""Yeah..."""" The party agreed with his words with a wry smile. Knowing they had to depend on this stones made them feels really ridiculous.
They were silent, a sigh escaped their mouths and a momentary worry.
"Well let's change the topic for a bit. I think I'm getting better at sensing mana, there's this thin water like feeling whenever I was inside the magic circle" Tristan said while holding a cup of tea. He changed the topic and moved the conversation to their mana training.
"Oh, I too, feel the same. It's like a line of ribbon spinning around you, right?" Amelia followed while wiping the cookie crumbs on her lips.
"Wow, you're amazing Ami! So that's how it feels, I can't even sense it. I better keep up" Fia praised Ami, and cheered herself up.
"Ugh, I don't even feel a thing, you two are probably the Mage type. I'm pretty sure I'm a warrior or swordie type. How about you, Raze?" Roan while in taking small bits of food.
"Uhmm... I kinda feel the mana a bit" Raze said while drinking coffee. "Just a tiny bit" he added to make sure he fit in.
Though he learned mana sensing years ago, he was shocked at how Tristan and Amelia were able to sense a bit of mana at their first week of training. 'I was able to sense that after almost 2 months of training'
"Even you? How unfair, can't the goddess of OPness bless me please?" Roan prayed hoping his wished may come true if only such divine being exist.
Time passed and dusk once more arrived. Since they have been summoned to this world, they've only seen the walls of the castle, the training grounds of the squires and apprentices mages and the busy maids working all day. Once night came, they read the books left by the previously summoned people.
............
The throne room.
A huge majestic banner was held behind the throne. Crafted to fit a royal throne. Embedded on it was the crest the of the Rosendell Kingdom.
On the throne, the king was sitting down looking at his trusted aides. Two old men were kneeling on the floor. One with plated armor, the other with a robe.
"No need to kneel when no subject can be seen, you two." Said the man on the throne. The king spoke not informal tone but, in a tone with casual manners.

"You two are my friends after all. Stand up and ease the formal manners."
"That we cannot do. You are this kingdom's king and we are your loyal subjects” Lutherford spoke with a formal soldier like tone.
"Sign. Stop being stiff and listen to the king. We had this situation a thousand times and you still do the same thing." Turstin mocks the person beside him.
"Come now, Turstin. He's just being himself." The king spoke, with a wry smile. "Let's skip the usual charade. So how're our guests?" The king asked, going straight to the topic
"They are promising younglings, though one kid really makes me feel like freezing his face." He complained" Turstin complained. "He's kinda like this old man beside me when he was once young." He added.
"Oh hoh! That would be quite a sight to see if he can make you feel like that" Lutherford replied, "I'm already liking that kid."
The king also joined the laugh, enjoying the old mage's displeased expression.
"Hmmm. How many of them do you think will cooperate with us, Turstin?" The king went back to topic.
"Probably half. The boys seem rather interested in magic so I think we might be able to talk it out to them. While the girls are still undecided." Turstin replied.
"I see, so magic really does piques their interest that much. Same with the records on the books, otherworlders do like magic." The king spoke with a small laugh.
"For now, we have to make them feel comfortable and safe within the premise. Treat them like nobles and give them anything they demand." He ordered.
""As you wish"" both of them replied.
"Once the preparations are done, I want you, Lutherford, to have them visit the knight's training ground. If the show interest in weapons or battle, do evaluate them."
"That was my plan, I was merely waiting for Turstin to give us the time." Lutherford replied while giving a short bow. "I do hope that kid would like swords as well."
........
After Lutherford dismissed himself first, a change in the mood occurred immediately. Turstin explained his previous interactions with the guests, told them their potential talents and possible uses.
The king nodded. "Hmm. This is really unexpected, A law that forbids giving lethal weapons or technology." The king closed his eyes and think.
'I cannot simply force them to give us that knowledge, I am no tyrant. The previous king's reign has ended and I won't follow his unethical ruling.' The king thought. If the previous king still reigns to this day, surely those guests should have been in the dungeon, being tortured by now.
'And a device that can be mounted without the use of magic! Similarly to the floating magic but attached to an object! Such a shame we made a blunder....' In this world, floating magic exist but only the caster can float and it can only last for a few minutes. Not if they can only use this technology or use the device, the can make a mobile powerful magic artillery. In which can possibly change the tides of war.
'Also, those two frequently dive to other worlds? This just makes things harder for us. I only hope they don't know much about the war behind the curtains.' He hopes that the guest doesn't know about political war, if they knew then he will lose cards that he can use.
"We are beings who follows the law and the law will guide us. Thus, we shall also respect their law." The king gave his decision.
Turstin was silent the whole time and only gave an affirmative nod.
"Now, try to pique their curiosity on magic more and if possible, make them interested in magic weapons or the wars."
'And if they can't provide and knowledge or join the war, we can still use of their bloodline. The prince and the princess should try to woo them' The king though as he try to think of other option he has.
.......
At the king's bed chamber, the king stood beside the window, overseeing the landscapes.
He looked at the East side and overlook the horizon. A feeling of foreboding engulfs his nights.
The king already made his gamble.

One previous night.
Standing in the middle of the room, palms aimed at an opened windows.
Eyes closed as they concentrated their minds.
A moment of their concentration...... burst forth their motivation.
"Fire Ball !"-A- "Fire Ball !" -F- "FIRE BALL!" -R- "Let my rage come forth! FIRE BALL!" -T-
.....
.....
.....
And no orb of fire shot out of their palms. Only the sound of the wind, and the silence of their rooms.
Blushed. Face full of embarrassment. It was a good thing that the dreaming teenagers were alone in their rooms.
......
While one youth was snapping his fingers, generating a small whirl of wind. Carefree while laying on the bed.

He finds an intruder in his room, who claims to be a woman—a mythical creature only existed in ancient texts.
