《Warped Reality》Memories

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and internal monologue. Feels like that was rare in my former life. I think. Then again, I can’t do much else than think and stare at everything. Not that there is anything to see since I can’t move and there is only walls and a door.
Thankfully, I seem to have maintained a sort of mental stability since I have yet to go insane from staring at the same walls for the last couple of hours. Or maybe it’s just been a few minutes. No clocks to tell time so it’s anyone’s guess.
…
Might want to go over my memories since it seems I can’t really do anything else. God knows when they finally decide I’m worth checking up on. Hopefully Girl shows up. Or Butcher. A familiar face would be nice, though I don’t even know what girl looks like.
Now.
Sandwiches. Sand is near beaches or large lakes. Lakes have fish. Fish are alive and can swim. People swim. Humans are people. Humans live in communities. Communities are protected by police. Police are modern guards. Guards are usually seen in medieval times.
And like that, I spent my time recollecting every fact I was aware of. There were a few blank spots I’m sure, but I couldn’t really check right now. Didn’t have any internet or people to tell me what I didn’t know. Hell, some of my info could be wrong for all I know. I can understand people having false information, and I might not be the exception.
Went through science, history, and technology before I started paging though less practical info. Once I got to videogames and crossword puzzles, I started getting bored of this exercise. Have to say I know more pointless trivia than any applicable info. Ill be damned if knowing a cat can survive from higher up than closer to the ground is going to be applicable at any point in my new life.

But its nice to have something to focus on. Give me a sense of normalcy. A feeling that clashed heavily against everything I’ve dealt with in the past day. Not that my brain functions like a normal person anymore. If I even have one. At the very least a normal person would be freaking the fuck out right now.
A videogame System that can capture souls? Gods, demons, angels, undead, and fairies? Trans-dimensional realities? Bit much to take in. Most people would be in denial or go insane. And if they didn’t, being in a limbless bizarre new form might be the final nail in the coffin. Hmm. Mater of fact, even with my reduced knowledge, and possibly my personality, I’m handling this pretty well. One of my abilities maybe?
Hmm. Something to test out later.
...
My god I am so bored. They could have put a television in here somewhere so I'd have something to do. Not that i think they would if I'm honest, I mean, if there is an organization that can track down people like me, safe to say most people want to keep this sort of knowledge on the down low.
I think. I haven’t really talked to anyone to confirm or deny all these guesses I’ve been making. I wonder what they think I am? Hopefully it isn’t anything dangerous.
...
Ah who am I kidding, they are probably thinking about experiments to run me through right about now.
Anomaly – 6845
Location – Facility 36
Threat Level – Alpha (Unapprised)
Appearance –Mask, white in color. Material makeup: unknown. Genderless face. Eyeholes, functional ethereal eyes floating in them, white in color. Can ‘blink’. No lips or nose.
Abilities – Psionic; Individuals making direct eye contact appear to be mesmerized by the mask. Will stop whatever previous actions they were taking to maintain eye contact. Weak initially, since breaking eye to eye contact in any way ends the subject from their mesmerized state. Longer exposure dose seam to increase the potency in this ability. Subject 6845a, a middle age man found holding 6845 once ARC personnel arrived, who gained a desperate and violent attachment to the mask over a couple minutes of unbroken eye contact, has been making noticeable progress to a full recovery. Brain Bleach procedure scheduled after temporary containment.

Analysis – As of yet, threat level is low. Will commence testing for full evaluation.

Mark of the Lash
Born from a precarious relationship between a Drow and his prize, Serena Lash struggles to find her place, and herself, as she fights to persevere through the hardships life throws her way. A story born from a D&D game I am currently a part of. The narrative will follow the events of the campaign as closely as possible, with some events having been tweaked to better fit into a written story. A slow burn, the narrative does skip around a bit due to the nature of the campaign, considering that not everything in the game needs to be written about. This will begin to peter out the further the story progresses, but for the first parts, expect a bit of skipping!
