41-year old Satou Makoto works in a Japanese sweatshop...literally. His company doesn't have a working air conditoner and he's putting in 98 hours per week at his desk, under the grinding heel of his demanding 24-year old sizzling boss. But when a sudden heat wave hits Japan, the entire floor crumbles to heat stroke. Makoto is rushed to the ER...and dies.

He awakens to find himself in Heaven. Or is it Hell, because his boss and coworkers are here too?! This cloudy wonderland reminds Makoto of an MMORPG he played in his youth that was abandoned by the developers in favor of launching a sequel. The original game was left online with players unable to finish. Knowing the ultimate fate of this world, what will Makoto do? Will he try to change fate?
