《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 1 Something High

In a dark room that seemed like a set up. A forty-five year old man with purple hair and scars all over his face was in an electric chair. He was tied to the chair but it seemed like he could get up whenever he wanted. He wore ragged clothes and shiny new sneakers. His messy hair showed that he was stressed.
The man seemed tired and his eyes seemed lifeless. In his eyes, there was a flashing glint that seemed to show that he wanted to stay lively and happy. He was like a sleepy man struggling to stay awake, however, he knew he couldn't stop what was coming.
"Jack JJ Jelly you are to be executed for the murder of 481 people. Do you have any last word?" said a man loudly from the darkness.
Jack looked up tiredly and tried to smile at the speaker.
"Yes, I have some last word,” Jack said softly.
"What's your last word,” the man from the darkness calmly asked.
Jack smile with effort and stared into the darkness, “Come closer and I'll tell you."
“I would like to keep my ears,” said the man.
Jack then had a sad face, “You don't need those ears,” he said with a somewhat lively smile.
The man stayed silent for a moment, “Is that all you have to say?"
Jack shook his head and then lost his smile, "My last word would be, hmmmmmmm, you know what I don't have any last word, just kill me."
The man did not reply but a silent signal was given. The chair Jack was sitting crackled with electricity and Jack died. Looking at Jack unmoving the man didn't say anything.
In another place far from this world, Jelly woke up. He didn't say anything and just looked around his environment. He was in a green meadow with flowers, trees, a river, a sun, and fresh air blowing from the mountains in the distance.
Jelly felt at peace and he looked at his body. He saw that his hands, feet, and body were tiny, he also saw he wore some kind of clothes from medieval times. From this, he saw that he was seven years old wearing noble clothes. Getting up, he walks towards the river. When he reached it, he saw he had a cute baby face with silver hair and silver eyes.
He thought to himself, "Where am I, the last I remember is Jack getting electrocuted, Jack are you still with me?"
There was only silence, but after a few seconds, a soft voice answered back, “Yeah, I'm still with you, we seem in another world."
Jelly nods at Jack's answer and thought about whether this world had magic. He proceeded to try and feel the world around him. He felt something warm around him and flowed it into his heart. He could tell it wasn't the sun since the sun doesn't warm the heart and usually only warms the skin.
The warmer his body felt, the warmer his heart felt. Soon he felt his heart formed a warm lump of energy that made his body cozy and nice. He tried to push the energy outside his body and it worked.

"So this is magic,” Jelly thought to himself.
With the lump of energy still inside him, Jelly tried to conjure a small stream of water from his pointer finger and it worked. He kept firing a stream of water until he could no longer. There was no more energy or mana as he decides to call it.
"That's pretty neat, let me try it," Jack said with a somewhat energetic voice.
Jelly nodded and proceeded to switch consciousness with Jack. Once Jack took over the body, he started trying to absorb mana from the surrounding. The mana flowed into his heart and it felt wonderful to Jack. Jack then tried to absorb mana into his head instead of his heart.
When the mana came into his head, his mind felt very clear. He felt his connection with Jelly growing stronger and he could even feel the presence of the JJ in his conscious. Jack then brought forth the mana in his head and conjured an ice sword in his hand.
He felt that in a range of 1 meter he could conjure anything in the area, but anything outside of that was currently impossible. The sword in his hand felt safe to hold because he coated his hand with mana. Holding the sword above him, he sliced it down while coating it with mana and made it slash out ice.
The slash from the sword made a three-meter crack in from of him. The sword melted in Jack's hand and he lost all the mana in his head and heart. Jack wondered how he could increase his mana capacity. He drew mana into his heart again until it was full. The process took ten minutes.
Once his heart was full of mana, he tried to absorb more mana but it didn't work. Slowly, he moved the mana in his heart into his brain. He soon felt his brain full of mana.
He then drew in more mana from the surrounding into his heart. His heart was soon filled with mana and he felt he couldn't store more mana.
Jack pushed some mana into his limb and it was just waiting to be thrown out as fire or water. He tried to make his limb absorb and store mana but they couldn't. From this, he could see that only his heart and brain could absorb mana. He brought the mana in his hand back into his heart.
Again he wondered how to increase his mana capacity.
Jelly suddenly spoke, "Why don't you try to make the mana in your heart swirl or condense and expand."
Jack proceeded to condense and expand the mana in his heart. The process felt tiring and it made him hungry. While expanding and condensing his mana, he felt his mana capacity grow so Jack was very happy. While his mana capacity expanded and grew, he kept absorbing more mana and expended it while growing it.
After an hour of what felt like pure bliss to Jack, he felt his mana capacity increased by at least ten times, which he felt was enough to make ten ice swords and no more. Instead of making ten ice swords, Jack made a giant ice sword above him that was ten times bigger than his first ice sword.

The first ice sword was two feet and this one was twenty feet. Jack felt it was hard to control this ice sword and he swung it down. The sword created a twenty-meter-long slash on the ground which he expected since his control wasn't very good. His heart was all out of mana and he felt it would take at most two hours to fully restore the mana.
Jack wanted to increase his mana absorbing capabilities and he tried the other method Jelly said. He absorbed some mana into his heart and made it swirl like a hurricane. He soon felt he was absorbing mana at a faster rate and felt it would be a permanent effect on his body.
Jack then tried the mana expansion and mana swirl for his head and he felt it increase his mana capacity and absorption just like his heart.
Jelly spoke with an excited voice, “Try doing the swirl and expansion in your heart at the same time."
Jack became excited and tried it. True and behold it worked.
Jelly once again spoke with an excited voice, “Try making mana rush through your whole body at a fast pace and after that, try making mana expand and condense in your body."
Jack did what Jelly said excitedly. The mana quickly rushed out of his heart and moved around the body, only to come back to his heart and repeat. Jack felt his muscle growing stronger every cycle, he also felt more hungry. Holding back his hunger, he then tries the mana body expansion.
The mana expansion on his body made him feel more energetic, and he felt his body capacity to hold and use energy increased.
Jelly spoke in his head again, "Try the mana swirl on your body."
Jack did a mana swirl on his body and felt his muscle decreasing in size but still being as strong as it is.
"Let's recap everything shall we?"
Jack agreed and Jelly spoke.
"Mana swirl in the heart and brain increases mana absorption, mana expansion condensation in the heart and brain increases mana capacity. Both of them can be done at once on the brain and heart at a faster paste than alone. Fast mana flow in the body increases muscle strength by tearing it apart and repairing it, mana expansion condensation for the body gives our muscle more energy capacity and vitality. Mana swirl decreases our muscle size. That should be all, right?"
Jack nodded, “Seems like a pain to do every day,” he said lazily.
"Try doing it on autopilot while walking," said Jelly.
Jack started walking and tried doing it on autopilot but it was hard. After a while, he concluded that autopilot was possible but it would be take a lot of hard work and practice.
“Let me try it,” said Jelly.
Jack let go and he felt Jelly take control. Jelly started walking while trying to do everything on autopilot. Unfortunately, his efforts did not work.
"I wonder if our power will increase if all three of us combine," Jelly said thoughtfully.
"Let's try it with the two of us, we can do it with JJ when he wakes up," said Jack.
Jack and Jelly fused their will and mind. Back in their world, Jack was an assassin and Jelly was a scientist. Their many life and death situations allowed the two to combine.
The three of them combining once allowed them to fight off a thousand men's single handily. Two combinations could increase their strength by ten times, but three combinations could increase their strength by one hundred times.
Two ropes can be twisted together to make a rope ten times stronger and three ropes can be twisted together to make a rope one hundred times stronger.
The two combined and they became one. Their test was to see if their combination would increase their strength by ten times and it did. Jack Jelly could now summon forth one hundred ice swords easily.
The range at which he could conjure things was now 10 meters, which was better than the original 1 meters. Although 10 meters was a lot, the further he tried to conjure things, the weaker it was. To be precise, in a range of 1 meters in sync to his mana capacity, he could conjure things at full power instantly.
At the full 10 meter range, the power of the conjured element had around 10 percent of the original power. The power of the conjured element at 10 meter could be increased but that would take more mana.
Jack Jelly thought about flying and he tried to make his body lighter with mana. Slowly he floated up and slowly he started to fly around. Making himself light with mana was cheap and changing direction was also cheap. But he could tell that flying at a faster speed would require more mana.
Jack Jelly then thought up of a mental status screen and he conjured it in his head.

Jack Jelly
Strength: 3 (30)
Endurance: 2 (20)
Agility: 2 (20)
Mana: 10 (100)
Total Might: 170
-
For the average human, their strength, endurance, and agility were all one. One mana was equivalent to one ice sword. At a combination of three, Jack Jelly could become even stronger.
Flying close to a boulder by the river, he made an ice sword and swung it. The boulder was obliterated but was not split in half. Jack Jelly wanted it to split in half but he had never learned the way of the sword. He was too lazy to study the way of the sword.
He remembered a time where he tried to discover why he had a split personality. He discovered that every time he lost his memory by blunt force he would live a new life and that new life would create a new personality. Maybe in this life, he'll try to create a new personality that will learn the way of the sword.
Feeling hungry, he looked towards the river and forest. Jack Jelly didn't know who the body he resided in belong to, and he didn't care. For him this was a new world full of some new liveliness.

You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad
