"My unit designation, is Arc-347. Good morning, my new Master."
(What?)
If i could see my face right now, it would probably be a face of shock. I have never ever seen a drone that hovers without any rotors. Its also talking with a smooth robotic voice, not unlike those robots i have seen
before on Earth. Its as if this robot had this voice naturally from the beginning. I could not hear any imperfections in its tone, unlike the robots i could remember. Also, did it just call me master?
"Finally, finally, finally! Oh joy o joy, how ecstatic it is to finally meet and serve a living human being after all
these eons of waiting! I have been waiting for soooooo long in this dark and cold, lifeless place! Finally
finally! How long has it been since i talked to something that is able to respond to my words? My circuits
are shaking so much!"
"W-wait, what? Master? Eons? Umm... Where is this and what happened to me?"
"Ah! My deepest apologies sir! You must be very confused... And cold! Oh my, i just realized you are wearing nothing at all. Again my deepest apologies, please forgive me! Let us clothe you at once!"
"...?"
I was speechless, from my memories... Robots have never talked like this before. Its words are coherent
and eloquent, completely unlike the machines from the Earth i could remember. And also its way of speaking sounded like it had... Emotions?
"At haste everyone! Let us serve our new master with our utmost diligence! Ah, cmon you! Give him the clothes already!"
As i was thinking why this robot drone was talking to other robots that did not respond at all, a humanoid robot handed me some clothes to wear... A white t-shirt, a black jacket and a pair of jeans.
I quickly wear the clothes that the humanoid robot handed over to me. Phew, finally some clothes to wear,

it was getting real cold and i was also getting a bit embarassed from being naked.
Also, the robots that he is talking to are not responding... Is he the only one that can talk here? How long
was he waiting here? So many questions... Lets hope it answers them all.
"Umm.. Can you answer my questions now?"
"Aaah... Aaah! Yes, yes yes! Of course of course of course! My apologies for not paying attention to your words! Its just been so long since something here was capable of actual speech! Go ahead master,
what are your questions? I will try to answer them all with my utmost!"
"Umm... Okay. So, ...Where is this?"
I took a look around the unfamiliar looking room again. It now felt a bit warm, and the lights have switched from a dim blue to a bright white, the computers are making beeping sounds, and now the robots are everywhere... Cleaning, maintenance, etc. It felt so empty and cold just a couple of seconds ago and now suddenly these things came out from nowhere once i met the tiny, weird hovering drone.
"Ah yes of course.. You are currently inside Arkbase Omega-347. Do you still remember anything from the
past? Actually are you sure one part of your brain is not mush? Your muscles are functioning properly, yes?"
"N-no. Although i do feel really tired. Nothing is wrong with me."
"Are you sure?! You might die in a couple of minutes due to internal injuries! Are you really sure you are not in pain? Please tell me you wont die in a minute... just like the others..."
"...? No, no, no.. Im really fine, i dont feel any pain. I just feel really tired and out of energy. Nothing is really
going to happen to me... And also we're getting off track. Arkbase Omega-347? What is this place, also...

What happened to me?"
"Aaah... aaah... Yes! Of course! Arkbase Omega-347 is one of hundreds of bases underground, in the ocean and on the mountains... These Arkbases were built for Project Union Ark, a top secret project
propsed and carried out by the Aadvat Union millions of years ago for human survival against something... Well my apologies sir... There is no information on what caused humans to be near extinct on Atria. Ah.. i believe it is referred to as "Unosi" now by the native species..."
(Huh??? Aadvat Union? What nation is that? Was that an existing nation back on Earth? I cant recall... Damnit, my lack of memory is really bugging me out... Atria... I have never heard of it before... Is that a name of our planet? Wait no.... Our planet name was Earth... Right? Shit... Ugghhh im not really sure if it is... Still though these names... I swear i have never heard of them... Also, "millions of years"? How long was i asleep for?
"Ah! You must be feeling very confused... Of course having slept for 347346789 must have misplaced, erased or even created new memories in your brain. Do not worry, this should... Be a temporary side-effect
for sleeping for millions of years. Im sure you will recover your memories, good sir."
"W-wa-, Huh? My memories are fake?"
" Yes, this should be a side effect that occurs after sleeping in cold-sleep for eons. Please do not panic.
Your memories should recover gradually."
W-wait... What? My memories are fake? Nonononono, im sure my memories from Earth are real....
Really? I just dont know.... Im not really sure whether my memories are real or false. Aaaagh, this is so
agonizing. Haaa... I really dont remember anything from Atria or anything... Only on Earth. Are my memories
really fake? I... Im not sure.... Gah! Just forget about it, lets ask it more questions...
"A-alright. Im not really sure if my memories are fake or anything but... Project Union Ark... Is that why im here?"
"Yes! That is why you have been sleeping for millions of years, Master. As i said earlier, Project Union Ark was a plan to build hundreds of bases underground, below the sea level, and inside mountains to avoid
total human extinction on Atria. For why humanity was near extinct, there is no information about that in the
database... It seems like Ar- I mean, the original caretake AI for this base wiped out the records.
It seems like people were randomly chosen according to how important and talented they were... You, my master Ryan Hadrens was the son of a influental politician back then... He is... He was not chosen."
"A-ah... I see."
Was that man really my father? Weird... I swear my life was normal... If i was the son of an influental politician i wouldve been living in condos and luxury apartments right? Aaah! Its this weird itch im getting
again! Why does this itch always appear when i try to recall anything?! Its so annoying! ...Ah forget it...
If he really was my father, then i must've been nothing him. I cant recall any single thing about my parents...
So does that mean they never loved me? No actually.... Does that mean i didnt love myself? Nor did my friends care about me? So confusing... Damnit this itch is really getting on my nerves...
Alright... Lets ask this drone more questions...
"Also... How many years did you say has passed?"
"347346789 years. Thirty four seven million three forty six hundred thousand seven hundred eighty nine years. I was created in this base 100 million years prior.... I have been waiting for so long. Finally
I can converse with an actual talking being now!"
"Excuse me... What the fuck?"
My mouth went ajar from the number of digits i heard.

8 113A Requiem For The End
Yuga wakes up on a cold, frigid land entirely covered in snow. Where was he? Who was he? Neither of these could he remember but he didn't have time to think of it, he could tell danger wasn't far. A quick death if he failed to avoid it. It was fast approaching and much as he tried to escape, it quickly caught up with him. Luckily he had survived, but was he just lucky or was there something more to him.....? A Requiem For The End is a fantasy story set in a world.......well, quite different from most stories you might have seen (I honestly don't know how to better describe it). Early into the story (prologue) the world feels elusive because you slowly learn about it through the eyes of Yuga. As you read on questions may arise in your mind and mysteries will present themselves. The answers to them will come the further you read. I'd like to think the plot is a bit larger than the average and same goes for the world building. If you find this story intriguing then all I can say is - There's a lot for me to tell, hop on?
8 230The Merchant of the Golden Triangle
(This is a complete rewrite of The Wandering Merchant, which is discontinued.) A world governed by a never-ending Narrative, with each person with a Role to play and progress through Levels that beget Feats from their deeds. This is one of its stories. A young [Trader] of his family-owned company with above-average wealth and influence left the continent of Libertalia behind because of great danger and competition from the many companies that rule its city-states. Armed with the knowledge that he had gained from his father's vault after the tragedy of losing him, he sets sail to the Golden Triangle of the world with his ambition to one day attain wealth and influence in Yhril, the Human Continent, to challenge the people that had wronged him.
