Chapter 8 - 7 ‘Princes’ of Liberality

“Master, we’ve arrived at the solunar sect right?”

“Yes indeed, disciple of mine.”

“So this is where I will make my mark into the world of immortality. Well first, let's open a trading firm and check out the cheats I got from the goddess, Dietarn.”

“Cheats?”

“N-n-n-nothing. Yeah, I was thinking about where are the cheaps… cheap stuff.”

Not long after, Maha arrived at the sect.

“Solunar sect? Then this must be one of the aforementioned blessed land of liberality. A tear slipped from his eye, but Maha wiped it away.

“Look at that peasant, moved to tears by the sight of the prestigious gates of the Solunar Sect. What a joke, is this the common quality of applicants for this sect?” Said a tall blonde handsome 20 year old looking man.

“Yes lord Lucifer. It indeed is shameful, shall I go and erase this nuisance?” Spoke a black clothed man with bloodshot red eyes.

“Heed no attention to those of the peasant class. Reality will judge them in our place. That peasant isn't worth the effort. I wouldn't have noticed that ant if he didn't wander near my vision. I am tolerant and can tolerate this offense, after all, we are about to go greet Lady Uriel. If I walked into her abode with ant blood on my feet, that wouldn't suit my noble bearing.”

“You seem to be more wordy today, lord Lucifer. Has something good happened?”

A green haired young man with a golden abacus and a pen with a notepad. The youngster had an unsettling aura about him as if he were a businessman who was about to cheat you of your money.

“Mammon, keep to yourself you barbaric lout who only lives for the feeling of coins slapping your thigh as you walk.”

“Why Lucifer those are such mean words. If you aren't careful, I may sue you for emotional trauma… and this law says… so then…. the outcome would be in my favor. Including … I would sue you if all your cash.”

When Mammon looked up, Lucifer had long walked away. Mumbling to himself “humph, I'll sue him silly one of these days. We’ll see how arrogant he can be when I sue away his golden hair. I'll sue the hair off your body.” Mammon tsked and walked away with disatisfaction.

Maha just continued walking towards the sect entrance, unsure of what to do at those monologues.

“Hey was that just Mammon Avaritia? Of the Avaritia clan? The one that owns nearly all the business area in Liberality?”

“Yeah! I heard he has so much money that he once crushed someone to death with a pile of coins, just to brag his wealth, but then after collected every last coin, and prevented anyone from coming near until he counted all the money.”

“That’s terrifying…”

“Actually, I just made that up.”

While waiting in line to pass through the gates, Maha heard all sorts of weird rumours about ‘The 7 Princes of Sin’

It summed up to this:

Asmodeus Leccherouse-‘Selentolf’s incarnation’. Selentolf, the Beast God of Reproduction. With the achievement of going at it without rest for one month, He nearly fucked all the prostitutes to death, and had to stop, or so the story goes. The gossiper’s saying says ‘no matter the quality, if Asmodeus visits the brothel, they will become rich overnight.’ He was well recepted by every brothel he goes to.

Beelzebub Gastrimargia - ‘The Great Devourer’ Given the same title as the Snake Apophis, who dared to devour Ra. Legend says that wherever Beelzebub dines, the restaurant runs out of business and won’t be able to open up again. Once his mouth opens, owners cower in fear. One mouth to end it all.

Mammon Avaritia - ‘Mr. Money bags’ Having been born in such a prestigious family, Mammon grew up dealing with internal conflicts within the family, causing him to be a ruthless character. It is said that his favorite way of taking out his competitors by crushing them to death pure with the weight of his wealth alone. Thereafter, he would count the coins with an evil smile.

Belphegor Acedia - ‘The NEET’ Not much is known about the Mystical young master of the Acedia. It is said that he is a NEET who never leaves his room. The only times he ever leaves his room is when the 7 great families have a meeting.

Leviathan Invidia - ‘The Witch’ Although Leviathan is a guy, he had delved into alchemy so sinister that even a witch would think twice before starting. It is said that you could hear maniacal laughter drifting from his house far-off from the rest of his clan as green smoke rises. It is also said that he would kill anyone who tried to court Lady Uriel.

Lucifer Vanagloria - ‘The Peacock/cockroach’ Well… they weren’t rumours… they were actually the truth… Lucifer talks in 3rd person when he get agitated. He’s is easily riled up. Despite being poisoned very often by Leviathan, he lives using the reason “The poison is too barbaric to take the life of one as noble as I.” Leviathan wasn’t the only one who tried to poison him.

Sathanus Ira - ‘incarnation of Ira’ Ira was the Goddess of anger and hatred. Twin brother of Lucifer, Sathanus was born into the Vanagloria clan. Having to share the crib, the room, the table, the friends, everything with Lucifer, Sathanus went mad and easily angered. Because his power rose along with it, Sathanus became too powerful for the Vanagloria clan to handle. Sathanus ended up living on his own, abandoned by his family. Sathanus took on the name of the goddess Ira as his family name. An action only those filled with rage and/or have a task that they will accomplish, even if it means death.
