Prologue 2 - Land Abandoned by God
A meteorite descended from the heavens, and landed in the center of the planet Furial. It’s path of travel was ever so strange. If one looked earlier, a greenish, reddish silvery light shot upwards, then the stone descended from the silver part of the light.
Cursing could be geared as a thunderous voice screamed in agony. “God Dammit! I accidentally sealed my burger king toy in the the rock! Now I won't be able to find earth easily anymore!”
A many 100s of years passed since that day. The meteorite was seen as unassuming at first. But when it was discovered that the rock had properties to heal itself, people from sects began to use it as a way to test the power of disciples. If they could stick their fonts more than a foot, then they would be welcome as entry level disciples, only a master could make the rock ring out.
The 7 disaster zone had become a trial of tempering. The 7 blessed lands were occupied by the 7 big sects.
Dwargni’s blessing grew weaker as the years went on, but the kingdom’s royalty, the dwarf royal family kept a hush order on the matter.
The once odd shabby store was gone. The royal family who vaguely was aware of Dwargni's existence put two and two together and discovered that they were abandoned by their God.
Furgeas began to seem like it was preparing for war to declare on other countries. The planet, Furial, was about to become embroiled in conflict.
……
Into the 10th year of the Great War, people began to catch wind and figure out, Furgeas was abandoned by their God.
Morale plummeted. Men began to abandon their posts, making it easier for the other countries to invade.

……
On the 37th year of the war, enough blood had seeped into the ground to form blood demons, a monster attracted by blood, and uses it as a medium to gains more physical forms.
Blood demons won't be attracted if there wasn't at least half a billion deaths to make the amount of blood.
……
On the 100th year, the new prince dwarf couldn't take it and surrendered. The dwarf royal family agreed as part of the contract terms to retreat underground and keep mining and making weapons for their conquerors, the Humans.
Out of desperation, King Dwarf the 37th had brought ruin to his own family. King dwarf the 38th was too prideful and cause the war to drag on. King dwarf the 39th couldn't take the pressure and ended up exhiled to the underground mines where he would be a laborer for the rest of his life. In the future generations, King dwarf the 56th would lead his clan of dwarves out, and into a land where they would be free, and forging would be their foundation for power.
……
While the dwarves were at war, the elves soon discovered that their patron god, Satier had left them, their king God desperate, and paranoid. He had ordered all of his elf subordinates to move deeper into the forest, where they would hide away from all detection
……
The Humans was also desperate. The goddess of flames and life had left them at the same time. The humans decided to conquer very thing before anyone figured out anything.
…….
The lands became plagued with diseases and monsters that evolved from blood demons. From slimes to dragons. The blood demons filled from resentment towards all races that were built over a period of 100 years caused the monsters to all have an innate hatred for all races, excluding the elves who stayed away.

One tribe of such monsters became the Rulers of these monsters, and were know as the demon race. They were an extraordinarily powerful group with the strongest monster having the ability to transform to a human size and shape. Making it easier to infiltrate and kill humans.
They occupied the 7 trial areas.
……
Years… centuries… millenniums… a lot of time had gone by since this day, but the hatred still runs deep between all races. And on one cloudy day, the testing rock shook.

8 102The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.

8 85Empress' Evolution
The bright red light of the flames swallowed her vision but soon that red light transformed into a blue hue and she was dragged into that light. ‘What’s happening?’ It was too bright and she was forced to close her eyes, she was blinded — even though she was already dead. After being pulled into the light she began to feel annoyed as her skin was irritated by some kind of rough sand. By the time she opened her eyes. She could see the full view of the sky. It was blue and there were clouds scattered about. ‘Ugh, is this Hell?’ She stated as she rubbed her head with her fluffy and furry ‘hand’. ‘Furry?’ She looked at her ‘hands’ and her mouth opened wide. Her hands had become soft and fluffy paws of a white-furred beast with purple spots. ‘What the hell?’ She touched her face with her paws and confirmed that it too did not belong to a human. Below, she felt something was moving, she can tell as if it was another limb connected to her. ‘Don’t tell me!’ Turning her head around, she found a seven-inch tail sticking out behind. ‘Phew!’ She felt relieved that it wasn’t what she thought it was. “These soft and paws, this cuddly fluffy hair, this cute tail — ah shit, did I become a beast after my death or have I been dreaming of being human as a beast all this time? If it is the latter that is one long and realistic dream.” === [It’s the former, stupid *] === Said a woman’s voice from in her head. === As always thank you for reading, also the image in the cover is not mine, I found it on Pinterest and thought it was cool and suitable. All credits got to the illustrator. Also, this is a new type of story that I have not read about yet. Basically I am writing an evolution novel without prior knowledge so I don't really know what is considered cliche in this genre.
