The Mechanicus has once more proven their worth with the masterful revitalisation of Pebillons Industries. Even with all the damage it has taken in the Ork assault Pebillon was capable of adapting to the new STC's in short order tripling it's original Production with just under four months of preparation. Sadly with everything going so smooth every assistance from your side is simply unnecessary, leaving you once more plagued with boredom. You choose to combat this old and reappearing enemy with a simple but hopefully enjoyable excursion to the remaining wreckages.
(roll10) You succeed in distracting yourself with a Broadsword that you found lying around in one of the older Eldar-Cruisers, or more precisely the tenth of what used to be an Eldar-Cruiser a few hundred Years ago. (roll14) Your newest toy seems to have a Mind of it's own however, breaking itself in your hand and filling the Ships-remains with Warp-energy.
''What a fascinating creature you are.'' You say poking the thing laying flat on the ground. ''I guess you are one of those Warp-Spawns I heard so much about, yet you don't seem all that threatening.'' You continue to poke the helpless thing that gives all it has to create a Warp-rift. ''Can you hurry up a bit little one, it isn't nice to let a girl wait.''
You actually don't mind waiting for a bit, after all the slowly shrinking Warp-spawns desperation is making your day. He has already managed to dispel your boredom better than anyting else could in the past Weeks, so the prospect of a new enemy to defeat without your Home being endangered has you quite excited. You don't see yourself as a violent person, there is no part in you that seeks out combat for the sake of fighting, neither do you enjoy seeing others suffer beyond a bit of discomfort.

Your motivation to fight comes from your desire to improve upon yourself and everything you find your interest drawn to, and as is the bane of every perfectionist that hasn't learned sufficient restraint, searching for ways of improvement even if there is no need for it becomes swiftly the only satisfying occupation capable of overcoming the boredom of spare-time. While you are quite exited to test your improved Angels you decide to fix one of the problems you had already identified quite some time ago, that being your Angels use of only a single type of Unit leading you to cast a modified version of Resurrection of Legions.

Difficulty:450.000.000 Skill:90.000.000.000MPP. (roll13),x13=1.170.000.000.000
Required:450.000.000=Pass (x2.600)
You are pleasantly surprised with your new Twenty-Six-Million, Ten meter tall Angels.
After a few more hours the Warp-rift has finally formed marking the death of the Warp-spawn as you crush its head under your boot. Just a moment later you feel its knowledge being absorbed, confirming that despite claims of their long life and even Immortality the Warp-spawns are indeed mortal.
The Warp-rift begins spiting out one Wave after another all being repelled and subsequently slaughtered without any difficulty. To begin the Void-spawn were quite confusing and even annoying, but after you absorbed enough of their knowledge they finally made some sense. For one the distinction larger means more Powerful has indeed to be applied, and the weirder they are the more likely it is that your facing of against one of their elites often called Greater-Demon, a title you soon accept as fitting enough. It's truly a pity that they are so undeserving of their reputation, one quarter has no martial-abilities to speak of, and another quarter relies massively on their plagues in combat exposing them in this fight where there is no enemy susceptible to their gifts.
The other half of the Greater-Demons have compared to their Peers impressive strength which nevertheless isn't enough to conceal their own shortcomings. If you are honest you are a bit disappointed in what surely would have become a great battle, sadly this event truly perfect for testing out the upper limits of your new Army in security was cut short by the disappearance of the Rift. You created two new types of Angels which killed Millions of Warp-spawns and even fought bare handed after you realized a bit late that you actually forgot to send an Angel to catch your Weapon, and yet you feel disappointed and a bit cheated by the Stories of those terrifying Monsters you overheard a few years back.

Twenty-Three million souls. It takes twenty-three million souls to feed the horrors of the Great Beyond for a soul to cross over and land amongst the living. Still, after eons untold, its final crossing shall take place in blood-soaked lands, driving fear into the hearts of its inhabitants. Alistair finds little wrong with himself, that's not considering he somehow was the last living being to have taken part in a battle to decide the fate of the Human world. He remembers walking shoulder to shoulder with his brothers in arms, being showered in the viscera of his closest friends. He also remembers being stabbed by a twelve foot monstrosity as it picked him up with its sharpened blade of a hand, relishing his stunned expression and the soon to be blossoming of pain as it brought him closer to its putrid mouth. And yet, here he stood in a silent battlefield littered with bodies for acres of land. What the hell was he supposed to do now? And equally important, what the hell was he supposed to do with this orb of golden light?!
