《Cultivation Bug Fuyo》Chapter 25 - Meat in droves

"Damn that old man, he just wanted us to do his job for him. If I ever see him again I'm going to..."
"Hold on Tuzai-chan, it's not all bad. There is 10 tons of meat here; do you know what that means?"
"No, what?" She scratched her head in thought.
"It means we have our meat, we will eat good tonight. I don't know how good this meat taste but we can try different methods to see what taste the best. We have lots to spare so it doesn't matter if we burn it a couple times practicing."
"B..but he told us to throw it out."
"Yeah, we are throwing it out. Throwing it out at our house." Fuyo smiled with that innocent grin that could make babies have nightmares.
"Sneaky Fuyo, but are we really going to spend all day going back and forth lifting all this heavy meat?"
"Think back to what we just acquired Tuzai-chan."
"I don't see where you are going with... ooooh. The interspatial bags of holding!"
"Right, I don't know if we can fit all the meat in there but it's worth a try."
Fuyo grabbed some meat and tried to shove it in, but it didn't work. Instead it squished in his hand.
"Strange, it doesn't seem to want to go in. Maybe it's full?" Fuyo's face was a bit downcast. His plan had failed.
"No silly, it's because all your meridians are closed. You have to use qi to open and close it. Like this see."
She took one of the bags, injected a little qi into it and a suction force exploded out from inside the bag. It sucked up the meat bit by bit.
"Wow, it just sucked it all up. That's amazing; too bad I can't use it." His face was half way between smiling and frowning.

Tuzai then sucked up the rest of the meat into the other bag.
"It can only fit half of the meat in, lucky we have two bags here. I'm surprised these bags have so much space, how long have those guards been scamming people? These aren't low quality bags of holding but closer to mid quality. 1000 gold each!"
"They can only consider it their bad karma. They got what they deserved." Fuyo smiled nonchalantly.
'What is that thing he was talking about? Meat carpet or something?"
"The meat carrier magic carpet? I assume it's a magic carpet used by the rubbish man to dump the waste from the bone relic masters."
"Oh, so it's a type of moving carriage thing then? Shall we go see our new vehicle?"
They left the room and made their way to the front of the building, they had gotten what they came for so there was no reason to stick around. The guards that were guarding the door before had left and gone somewhere else so nothing impeded them on the way out.

"Grand Master Kala, they are leaving and there is no meat in their hands. They seem to have failed the test."
Sigh. "That girl had quite a bit of talent too, 8 opened meridians and mid-grade profound veins. Not bad, not bad."
Kala appeared very different than a moment ago; his clothes were impeccable and made of extremely good material. They were laced with spirit formations and he was actually floating in the air!
Not using his wings but actually floating. It was like the laws of gravity didn't apply to him.
"Royalty like them are given many cultivation resources. They even have a meridian specialist that can open four of their meridians. If you compared her to a normal cultivator without an endless amount of resources she wouldn't amount to much. She would actually be very below standard."

"Being lucky enough to be born into a wealthy family is also heavenly luck." He sighed again.
Off from the side another man spoke.
"Excuse me, Grand Master. I know it's not my place to speak but are you really going to let them give all our items to charity? We only took the guard job and extorted people so you could test them; we didn't expect to have our items confiscated from a little prince." The two guards looked at the floor with a sad look on their faces.
The old man waved his sleeves and two bags of holding flew out and landed in each of the guards hands. They opened it up and almost passed out, inside each of the bags were more than two times their previous wealth.
"Thank you Grand Master, thank you!" They bowed heads and quickly went back to their stations at the front of the pavilion.
"Grand Master, are you sure you won't consider any of our pavilions bone relic masters? We have some of the most talented cultivators and..."
"Don't bother, I've already tested them all and they failed. These kids were the first ones that passed the second stage of the test. They actually followed a dirty old man like me down the long winding hallway to help despite their status. That boy was really interesting too, but his cultivation talent is terrible. Only at the first level of Qi condensation and almost 13 years old, even with his crappy talent I might have taken him in as a disciple because he's entertaining. But it's a shame they failed the third test. No matter, I will spend a few months here; if I can't find a suitable disciple I'll be leaving this village and heading back to the Divine Capital."
The Pavilion master's heart shook a little; this man had helped out their village greatly. With him here none of the surrounding clans would dare attack. He was like insect repellant and if he left, they would enter a warring period again.
"I understand sir." The old man respectfully bowed. The one talking to Kala was actually the Bone Relic Pavilion Master. If he was the Pavilion Master then what sort of rank does this so called 'Grand Master Kala' hold? He must be someone very important.
In the past 10 years that he's been here, they have been able to build up their strength greatly, raising their total strength from a 1 star village to a 5 star village. The entire area is now lined with spirit formations so even if they came under attack they could fend off their brutal advances and protect the civilians.
It's also a barrier that collects spirit energy from around them so they wouldn't have to personally supply magic to the shield. It was a major improvement from the shield they had 13 years ago during the Demon Blood invasion.
